I dint play historic.... hell I haven’t played Arena in about 6 months but I love your videos LVD!
I don't hardly play either, I find a lot more joy and entertainment in watching others play
And I just finished crafting kethis combo. Don't want to craft 4 underworld breaches for this deck but I probably will end up crafting them anyways.
Kethis is great too, both decks are very similar.
Been loving this deck. Will try some of the differences you have here as I had a few flex slots I wanted to change.

I love Historic.
I think a lot of people over complicate the Kethis deck. I've played it a ton and there's no need to mill the opponent or try to Oath of Kaya them out. Kethis decks should just play one copy of Jace and win the same way as this deck. After some practice the combo actually goes really quick. I love the Historic content!!

Lol yeah. Hanging out while the other player runs solitaire for 5 turns isn't my favorite way to play magic
Why ? just concede, the game is over once he has 2 excavators, and 2 moxs in the bin with underworld breach in play. No one is forcing to sit there and watch the tiggers for 2 min once the outcome is deceidede.
It's not like an esper or azorius control deck, or nexus of fate, that's way ahead, but will need like 20+ turns to kill you, but could actually fizzle and draw nothing like 5 turns in a row. So if you wanna min max your wins (i don't know why you'd do that to yourself outside of tournament) you'd have to sit and play it out while they counter/exile/destroy everything you play for half and hour or more.

@@gountaa true, it's not as elongated as a match versus control, and a solid control deck might even be more consistent, but the difference is there are at least opportunities for you to interact in a meaningful way, and your opponent has to answer your board. It's a back and forth, instead of "welp, irrespective of what you've had going on for the last few turns, I just get to win now. Thanks for watching."
@@CodfishJoe And how is that different from getting locked out of a game because of teferi + 2Xascanta each turns, or nexus of fate taking infinite turns, or mono red embercleave killing you turn 3 ?

What's the benefit playing this over Kethis combo, which is basically the same list? Asking for a friend.
Never mind. You said it in the first match. - I disagree on the faster statement. I usually go off in turn 4-5 like you. However, Kethis has multiple ways to win, besides milling ourselves, if that doesn't work, for some reason.
*Imagine a splash Kethis, Hidden Hand plus Breach and Excavator deck* !?

Have you considered running jhoiras familiar? Since almost all of the cards in your deck are historic, i think it would benefit the deck, making almost everything cheaper.
At four mana it's a little too pricey for this deck, could be good in a more dedicated artifact deck.
