Fun tip about melding. You need actual cards to meld together and their copies doesn't work (since they get exiled upon melding). Did once with a copy of Mightstone, ended up with losing both Urza, Mightstone and wasting 7 mana as expected.
FYI - "701.34b - Only two cards belonging to the same meld pair can be melded. Tokens, cards that aren’t meld cards, or meld cards that don’t form a meld pair can’t be melded."
Probably a combination between budget cuts, players complaining about some animations taking too long and the mobile version struggling to display them.

I'm so excited to see your take on Urza, the card hits on my nostalgia and my love of meld and artifacts but has been really frustrating to make work in paper/brawl "smoothly." Excellent work as usual.
Love the deck list! Beautiful balance between a board state and pure control. 37:48 never can understand why brawl players rope? It’s a casual format, just enjoy the journey- no need to get salty if opponent pulls off. Just politely concede if feel can’t do anything and won’t enjoy watching their game plan play out
Just built this commander in brawl a week ago, mine was more combo focused with paradox engine and play from the top of your deck cards like reality chip and mystic forge, play a bunch of artifacts and let the paradox engine bore your opponent to death. Barely any removal that i didnt even play wash away or counterspell. Just mana drain and protection like pact.
@@LegenVD Well, I know you can't exactly talk bad about Wizards when they sponsor your channel. I thought the idea was cool but as soon as I saw the MTGA only mechanics and how bad the cards were on top of needing to buy an entire different set of cards I knew it was typical Wizards trying to bleed a stone again.
Basically it was presented as a way to bring new mechanics to arena and tweak under and overpowered cards. In reality wotc just uses it to avoid giving out wildcards for bans and introduce pushed rares and mythics.
Sometimes they release some of my favourite cards on Arena like Nightclub Bouncer and Jet Collector, sometimes they go too far with carda like Poq and Grenzo. Like LegenVD said, it is a complicated story.
At 17:47 You can float mana from "The Mightstone and Weakstone" and untap it with "Teferi, who slows the Sunset", then you will have 9 manas to play both the 4 drop and 5 drop.
Meld mechanic is so cool, I wish they’d give them fancy animations like you see in Runeterra-it’s not easy to pull off and should feel special!
