I really don't think that the difference in price is worthy. It is $30,000 or even more. I don't have a big family, so I really don't need the extra that Lexus offers.
Here's a fun challenge for all the people saying they think the Infiniti is better - go look at any Infiniti that is even 5 yrs old and see how it looks/feels, and do the same with a Lexus. Lexus is worth the premium. Infiniti is not a true premium brand in my experience. I had an '18 Q50RS for 3 yrs and was so glad to be rid of it. Obviously the Q50 is long in the tooth and not a good example of what Infiniti are currently producing, which is much improved across the board, but each of them still feels much like the Nissan's they are based on. Go compare a QX80 to an Armada and see if you can spot the differences from the inside. You can't. The forthcoming one should improve substantially and I'm sure it will be better in every way, but driving dynamics remain to be seen. In all of the loaner cars I had (my car had about $10k of warranty work done on it over the 3 yrs I had it) over the course of owning my Q50 - spent a lot of time in the QX55 and QX50 plus some seat time in the QX60, I just don't think they feel luxurious on the road. There is nothing "special" about them, and each one was disappointing to drive, couldn't wait to get back in the Q50, which I didn't even love. Toyota has done a much better job differentiating between Toyota and Lexus. I would not buy another Infiniti, and in fact, they offered me some huge discounts to buy a new one when I told them I was planning to sell the car (which I did in March 2022) but I resisted because I was so disenchanted with the brand. I've owned a few different Lexus' in the past and while they are not leading the pack in powertrains or performance, they do have an air of quality that no Infiniti currently matches. They do feel "special". Dealer service/experience is first rate, although I would actually say BMW's dealer experience was the best, in my exp. Between these two cars, I would still pony up for the Lexus. It will look much better after it's been on the road a few years and I would expect the interior will hold up well, and based on Lexus reliability history, few unscheduled dealer visits. Haven't even started with the sub-par Bose sound systems that Infiniti is so proud of. Ditch the Bose, already. It's just okay, but it pales in comparison to even the base systems used by Lexus.
I really like the QX60 design. One of the most beautiful suv today.

if ur gonna say 6'5 inches tall and puttng the GLE and X5 in the same sentence, why not also mention the GLS, X7, and the other full size body on frame SUVs since the tx is closer to those dimensions than the midsized luxury class? Price doesn't mean they are direct competitors
Lexus gone down with plastic and feel cheap for the price.
Just to confirm additionally, did the TX have a softer/smoother ride than the QX60? Is it also true on much rougher pavements/roads?
he isnt relplying so hopefully this helps - I bought the new RX500h last summer it was much more refined and smooth compared to the QX60 when I compared them both on the same roads test driving. I am assuming the TX since its larger might be even better than the RX.
@@twfinc6855 thank you, well noted
The only reason i pick the TX over the qx is the 3rd row , if the qx is the same size of the tx ill take the qx over the tx 💯
Lexus is dropping the ball with design, interior materials and powertrain.......
I don't like new lexus design
The Lexus TX looks too much like a minivan!!!
I think the Santa Fe is better than both of these. Better equipped and cheaper.
The Infiniti QX is a disappointing vehicle, but in this case, Lexus outdid Infiniti in making an even more disappointing turd! The legacy Japanese need to get their act together, Mazda and Genesis are eating their breakfast, lunch, and dinner!!!
The Lexus tx is the worst luxury suv in the segment. Thr qx60 is better than the tx. In fact literally any other 3 row suv is superior to the tx.
I see a Mazda CX90 through the TX side window! I would take the Mazda over both. 😂
The little details? Rear seat ventilation, more horsepower that no one needs, a larger screen? $30k difference? No.
Idk but Qx60 exterior very much looks like current toyota highlander especially the front end
No, it looks better than highlander.
Did you mean the TX looks like Highlander? QX60... no way..
Can we agree on both of these vehicles wayyyyyy over priced, this interior and exterior quality a far cry from premium, it’s like Nissan kept its platinum trim line as well Toyotas platinum trim line in both of these luxury knock offs, now Genesis definitely takes a step up over exterior and interior
Acura mdx 💪
Lexus looks like puke, over priced with features that are not really needed. Infiniti gives you a lot for the money, the Lexus looks crappy and cheap in real life and has features no one cares about. Review totally misses the point.
Lexus interior is not even Rav-4, where is the wood, aluminum and leather? Engine is turbo charged so be ready to replace it around 100k miles.. Infinity looks like a true luxury car, all leather and shiny panels.. I currently drive rx350L and feel sad for a new Lexus..
QX60 looks alot better in both exterior and interior. Its not even close.
I need this type of review but the tx500h vs mdx type S
I compared the RX to the mdx... im driving the RX.. it was just better. I wanted something more refined and smooth, the MDX felt more firm and not as quiet. Im happy with my choice but dam things are getting $$$$
@@twfinc6855 agree these prices crazy reason why I'm leading more for the tx than the mdx. Appreciate your feedback
QX60 is the Lexus version of Nissan
QX60 all day over that ugly and cheap interior Lexus TX
I really don't think that the difference in price is worthy. It is $30,000 or even more. I don't have a big family, so I really don't need the extra that Lexus offers.
Don’t forget about the Acura MDX 😊the Infotainment sucks 😢 but the rest Moi ❤
the extra 30k is for resale value.
Lexus all day no matter what. Infiniti is trash now a days with shitty resale value and even shittier reliability.
Hyping tx over the qx is just dreams,,,toyota thinks is a much better than nissan,,but nissan brands are the best according to me
im not really a fan of SUVs, for the price this 2 are going for i would rather have an is500.
Err, Apples and Oranges
I love Lexus ❤ reliability is key
Autograph is the model
INFINITI one of the best
You are definitely selling the lexus...I'll keep watching though..
I'd take the Mazda CX-90 over these two all day
9 speed zf after 30k miles suffers from rough shifts. These reviews in a vacuum aren’t very informative.
TX is the king..
That Lexus looks waaaaayyyy better....
Have you seen one in person look like a Toyota Highlander eve Kia looks better
@@Germancog soon as they put the word Kia on a vehicle the looks go down to 0.
Definitely QX60
Świetne testy i recenzje...Congratulations !!! I choose Lexus... Infiniti fled Europe :(
Or orrrr just get a Grand Highlander or a Pathfinder Platinum. Same 💩
No comparison here! TX500 is couple levels above the QX.
Roominess, quality, modern technology, luxury- all for Lexus
Said literally nobody ever 😂
Interior is very appealing in QX than Lexus. And even the exterior, especially the front.
👍👍👍
Qx60 is better
Lexus is really ugly.
