CX90 drives incredibly well, upscale inside and very well built. I would definitely throw it into this mix.
10 yrs ago these were everywhere in my town and now I rarely ever see one. I just checked the sales figures and they have completely fallen off the cliff. I wonder if they’ll recover w this new model.
They ended production of the last gen and skipped a model year, and barely had any on lots (hence the steep drop in sales). It was a hard pill to swallow for dealers, being their top seller. Then when the new one debuted it was production limited due to the chip shortage. They have been producing them at full steam for about a year so the sales should continue to ramp up. But as Alex said, it's back up to #4 in sales in this class.
People got rid of them quickly too. They depreciate super quickly and last gen is riddled with issues with the CVT, transfer case and differential. I can’t even see them on the used car market for sale at over 100k miles
I do not understand why you aren’t mentioning the Mazda CX-90 as a competitor.
Your graphic says 2 way lumbar but I can see it has 4 way lumbar. Would that make the seat a 10?
I considered it but decided to stay with Acura.
Infiniti has virtually zero brand cachet. I see them speeding and weaving through traffic on the interstate, doing an impersonation of "big Altima power" 😂
So true. Altima / maxima drivers are always very aggressive. Followed by q50 drivers.
Yeah I see so many G35/37s getting ruined by the fancier Big Altima Energy drivers
more premium than luxury
Infiniti is more luxury than Lexus
So many people are just hating Infiniti ... Saying it's ancient. ..
Lemme ask you when they offered great cars like the G and rwd cross overs like fx ...did you guys receive it well ..na ....
But still ya all buy stupid front wheel drive Lexus croosovers with 4, cylinders for like 80 k and you call them modern .. gimme a break
Well said
People are just blind to Lexus because they’re sheeps who don’t know anything and they don’t possess any physical senses
Infiniti is now much better than Lexus
@@naveenthemachine Finally it's good to see someone agreeing with me 😉
@@cyrilmatthew2995 that’s what I was thinking of saying. Almost nobody agrees with me as they just think I’m a hater who doesn’t know anything when clearly it’s the other way around
Looks awesome
They fixed the rough suspension apparently, my apologies
Styling-wise this thing looks like a Mazda at first glance. That’s not a good sign if you’re still trying to play the luxury game, as Mazda is still a premium (non-luxury) brand.
for me its MDX then id look at a QX60 then the TX
You should cross the tx off your list. The tx is honestly the worst luxury suv in the segment. Literally any other 3 row luxury is superior to the tx in every single way
@@naveenthemachine literally BS. TX has the most interior cargo volume, reliability and resale value. Try spewing facts rather than erroneous claims.
@@daweed980 compared to the wagoneer or Tahoe it doesn’t. Cargo space isn’t any better in the grand scheme of things than a telluride.
@@naveenthemachinethe TX does not compete with a wagoner or Tahoe so why would anyone compare them at all? And the TX is much bigger on the inside compared to the Telluride, it has a lot more legroom, headroom is about the same but it definitely has a lot more cargo space behind the 3rd row and overall volume
@@naveenthemachine those are mainstream full size SUVs, not Luxury full-size SUV. U wanna compare the luxury full size SUVs to the TX, there's one that has less overall cargo space and u mentioned half the name already: the Grand Wagoneer. So ur argument is invalid because the TX beats the Grand Wagoneer in total cargo volume.
Nissan and infinity has ignored their models for so long that not many even consider this purchasing new car. Add to that their jatco cvt transmission have earned horrible reputation that will take a decade to erase.
So true. We had a huge fancy Infiniti dealer built 10 yrs ago. It was converted to a fancy Genesis dealer 2 yrs ago. Then I discovered the Infiniti dealer was moved to a tiny dumpy dealership space. I feel bad as I used to be a big Infiniti fan in the 90s.
I was at Infiniti dealer next to the Nissan. Can’t tell much difference than the pathfinder, not enough tech and for 60k it got nothing that Telluride don’t have or maybe a bit less stuff like camera and not looking better. Also it’s too small just like pathfinder third row cramp
I can’t take it anymore. Why does every new car have to have an iPad stuck in the middle of the dashboard like they thought of it five minutes before they manufactured the car. Why not put it into the design so that it doesn’t look like an ugly afterthought. I’m done!
Easier to install, cheaper to manufacture than having it integrated in the dash.
lol whatcha doing driving in Milpitas !? 😂
Infiniti is the Walmart of luxury brands 😅
The Infiniti QX60 is a great luxury vehicle and it’s among the top choices but I’d prefer the new Lexus TX over the QX90.
Nah the tx is a far worse vehicle overall than the qx60
If you buy this for acceleration you definitely are looking at the wrong kind of car.
The qx60 comes in slightly below the MDX or telluride or palisade or cx90
But on the plus side, the qx60 absolutely creams the two complete jokes of the segment: the RX and TX. So I’d blindly choose the qx60 over the TX and RX absolutely hands down without question
Well at least you're honest about being blinded by bias, lol.
@@ALMX5DP but the bias ends up being a fact
The qx60 is quite simply a better vehicle over the RX or TX in every category you put it up against the qx60 wins
@@naveenthemachine what does that even mean? Bias is bias, and you've admitted to being blinded by it...
Those cars are quite simply better in every way against RX and TX? Not in reliability, mpg, resale value, interior cargo volume (TX), etc. Couldn't be more wrong. If you're obviously biased at least try writing some facts rather than outright BS.
@@daweed980 yeah the wagoneer especially is better in every way. It looks better, the interior is much nicer than either the RX or TX, it has much better technology and features. If you care about reliability or fuel economy then you shouldn’t even be shopping for a luxury car in the first place
So out of date. Overpriced Nissan.
But this is better executed than you think. There are much worse luxury SUVs in the class than this
The lane assist driving feature is horrible. Was squeezing the wheel with both hands and it kept sounding the alarm for me to put my hands back on the wheel. Hard pass.
squeezing? you are supposed to tug on it a bit, meaning turn it a little bit in any direction. Squeezing a steering wheel does nothing.
Squeezing does nothing. It's literally looking for feedback/resistance in the wheel.
Save yourself 15k and get a Pathfinder Premium, almost identical. But save your money and buy something else because Nissan sucks.
Nissan Infiniti builds garbage transmissions. They sold millions of vehicles with trash CVTs and never stood behind the cars. I used to be a Nissan fan. I owned, in this order, the following cars:
Nissan 300ZX, Nissan 300ZX, Nissan Frontier, Infiniti G35, Infiniti FX45, Infiniti G35, and an Infiniti QX60. Following the QX60 I will never buy another Nissan again. They sold their cars with CVTs KNOWING the transmissions are garbage, which is why they never made things right with those of us who bought one. It feels completely intentional and even if it weren't, they offer no recourse.
Meh. I don’t even know why Infiniti still exists?
Let me fix your intro: if you’re looking to get something that is still ugly, but not quite bmw ugly, you should consider Infiniti”
23 mpg = garbage
Nissan, sadly, is in a world of hurt. All over the map with nothing that excels.
Wrong Nissan is getting better
Toyota and Lexus on the other hand…
Nissan's suck
What car company you like
Sits are shit. Small and not comfy
