    I really like how you make clear the plastic of headlights. Not foggy.

    I rly like the idea of a small body lift and a couple inches of spring lift and just a tiny fender mod to clear.
    Both those rides look like gems though for sure.
    I tried to fit Dunlop at20 Tacoma tires on my grand Vitara, didn't fit.... Haha

    Hi just got my acty and want to lift and do off road tires. What lift kit do you recommend? Also do all atv rims bolt up? I found a set online but not sure about bold pattern. Thank you.

    Will the lifted truck still fit inside a cargo trailer? What does the lift do to top speed? What does the off road tires do to road driving vibration?

    Hey Jeremy, I've been debating on picking one of these things up for years and think I want to pull the trigger. I'm in Ontario, and an Impressed with the quality and grade of trucks you guys bring into the country. Would you guys ever import and sell a stock truck? Looking at a DA63T, 4x4, hopefully AC, for a neat little city weekend vehicle, so I wouldn't need a lift or bigger tires.

      Happy to help. All of our trucks start out stock anyway so no harm in leaving it that way. Touch base with us at info@4sonsoffroad.com and we will be glad to assist!

    Great video! Do you have any recommendations for street rims and tires that don’t require wheel well trimming with a 2” lift?

    • @4sonsoffroad
      @4sonsoffroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, that's a tough one as there are not many rims that will just bolt onto these trucks. Especially for steel. Depending on your truck there may be a few aluminum options out there or you could run our 1" spacers with most 13 and 14" steel rims. With no lift you are probably limited to a 165/65-14 tire on a 5 or 5.5" rim

    Thanks for sharing! Am I to understand that the 2" lift kit is on the front only?

    • @4sonsoffroad
      @4sonsoffroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching. Sorry it might have been a bit unclear bin the video. The 2" lift is in both the front and the back. But because of the solid axle on the back the only way you will gain the extra ground clearance is with bigger tires.

    Does a 2 in lift kit cause any drive shaft or pinion problems?

    • @4sonsoffroad
      @4sonsoffroad  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be a neat rig... problem with the every is that there is no low range so they can be pretty limited for power with the bigger tires.

  • @urastus9202
    @urastus9202 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    These are 660cc? Increasing the tyre diameter and width is going to be a sizeable hit on the available power, and will also heighten the gearing. Higher gearing with less available power doesn't seem like a good combo - form over function. These little cars have their limits already. If you put a bigger engine in to compensate (eg 1.3l) that would be a good setup.

    Hey Jeremy, i have just gotten a 1995 daihatsu hijet dump chassis but it was a water damaged vehicle, any input in getting her running? Or getting the dump bed up to access the rest of the engine?

    • @4sonsoffroad
      @4sonsoffroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that's a bit of a tough one... Assuming it was totally under water and there for an extended amount of time you may have to do a complete teardown of the engine and carb as they could be packed full of silt. Also a lot of the electrical connections could be corroded so you may need to really go through that. Definitly will want ti check the distributor as they get wet easy. If everything is relatively clean you may just get away with changing all of the fluids and doing a good carb clean.
      As for the dump hoist. Just disconnect the hoses from the cylinder to the pump and you will be able to lift the box with a chain hoist or winch from above.

    When the wheels are outboard of the originals I would think that puts a tremendous stress of the bearings.

    Is 60 k kilometers alot?

    • @4sonsoffroad
      @4sonsoffroad  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a tough question as it obviously depends on the history of the truck. I would say a currently "shaken" truck in Japan with 60k is not bad at all. We see them at auction with 200,000km.
