I can't express it enough how much I appreciate the effort Session devs go to for the environments. Skateboarding is - the human, the board and the place, right? These detailed, lived-in maps are very cool.
I appreciate the new content the devs give us. But purchasable dlcs aren't always gonna suffice. Hope they bring a lot more than just maps soon. Best skate game on the market 💪
Totally agree. Especially considering the game still isn't in it's supposed release state. Goofy players still have to endure the regular switch stance for example

Much like the waterpark, the new map is cool, but not something i'd be interested in paying money for. I get new content incentivizes new buys, but i hope the team will keep working on the features and maps that are already in the game. The first pass of the object dropper revamp is awesome.
The neon/black light section is absolutely stunning! I highly doubt you guys will do it, but I HIGHLY recommend making an entire map/area with that effect. Really unique and it’s so dope in a skate game.
Damn, I was primarily interested in the new map, but those object dropper items look awesome! Now I kinda just want an empty warehouse map as a blank canvas. I know there are a lot of open areas already in the maps, but a dedicated DIY map would be cool. And I know you mentioned it in your other video, but a reset map/world option would be great (ideally on a map-per-map basis).
Looks like a fun area. A bit stupid to include that ramp to wall ride when the game can't handle those physics. Maybe that and the animation should be a priority rather than making more money making DLCs.
Animations for session will not happen for an extremely long time. They do not have adequate funding to support top tier animations. This is also something they will not admit to. Another thing to note is that they aren’t getting sufficient applications for animation positions. They’re up shit creek due to the studio size and having Nacon in the picture. Notice how nothing is actually communicated anymore?
Game is perfect as it is, just because you are not good at the Game dosent mean the Game is trash. You need to put more Time into the Game and stop making silly Darkslides videos

The 1.0 release was the main goal, and im guessing things hinged on it being a total success, but it probably didnt sell like was hoped. HOWEVER, we do have news of people being hired? And they did hire JL, both of which tell me things arent completely bad.

I think its priced well, but I cant fathom buying a DLC when the updates have been so underwhelming. Thus, I was a bit shocked at the end when the video for discussing the update popped up and it was 16 minutes long, because the update itself is so meager.
I already got the DLC, need to try it and it looks incredible, but if you accept suggestions I think there is one thing much more important than new maps or cosmetics, cloud save data. I had to format my computer and I've lost all my progress... it is insainly annoying and it would be great to have such a simple option. Keep the good work up!!
If the devs are gonna keep adding DIY objects, it’d be cool to get a blank canvass type map where we could build our own little spots. Most of the items don’t make logistical sense when added to the cities.
Can we get some non abandoned maps? Im not really digging the extra maps so far being desolate lonely skating spots. Im not asking for full cities but just SOMETHING that we can have the pedestrians option being useable on. In a game with no multiplayer we need some life.
I agree on this. These DLC maps are really dead. They feel like you are in a horror movie. Even some sitting or standing pedestrians would be enough, like THPS has. Small humorous dialogues here and there. You wouldn't go to place like this alone!
I recently bought Session, great game so far, yet can be difficult at times. It is very rewarding when you finally learn a hard trick you’ve been working on.
I think the existing maps are very good but we need more missions too, the game is stagnant. The new maps are "fun" but we need challenge to spend hours in this game. I haven't played in a while because of this
those misc are actually bigger part than Mall itself, i bought it yesterday and the Mall is fine, but still behind bigger city maps and you quickly go out of options. But those misc are great!! You can literally build the whole park with it just like for real competitions.Awesome

There is A LOT to discover about this game ;) Even though ive been playing Session since it was released as a Kickstarter in 2017, I definitely still encounter my share of crazy slams and struggles. It’s a tough game so even the most experienced players have trouble sometimes. Since day 1, I’ve worked hard to learn every little detail about Session and every work around for issues so that I can help everyone with anything in the game so that they have as much fun with Session as I do. Which is actually how I ended up being hired by Creā-ture last year. I currently work for Creā-ture Studios as their Quality Assurance. I wish they made the entire mall capable of being neon in some capacity..would make for some super cool edits if at daytime it were normal and at night turn into into this neon paradise. Also kinda reminds me of the rocket power episode where they met tony hawk 😅
It looks rad, and it skates just fine. I'm pretty confident about Crea-ture self awarness on what they are doing. Gettin that construction light fixed is the evidence that the devs got their own agenda, and it's the good one.

Such a step up from the water park dlc. Although the water park definitely has some new life thanks to all the new objects to put in that parking lot, now we just need vert and that map will be saved. I also actually really like the neon area, I’d love to see a whole skatepark in that style, maybe like a laser tag arena turned skatepark.
I love the new map, but those QPs are such a tease. With the continued inclusion of sick vert spots, I really hope some vert mechanics get dropped in soon, even if it’s just experimental.
This is cool... But EA skate came out in 2007 with lip tricks and vert. Don't get me wrong Session is an amazing game but we need some fundamental game changes/growth. The games street aspect is awesome but there's so many improvements we need before we get more DLC.

New DLC is awesome! however small sugestion. You should add blackriver kicker big enough to make a way to new block with stairs in the end. I tried to make blackriver skatepark and I miss this piece a lot.
They are other DLC maps. The Sewer map is a free map tho that you have to locate in the game (it shows up as ???? Until you find the entrance near Madison Park)
Not gonna lie I dig the map. And the black river ramps are pretty legit, However. I’d much rather be able to do some vert skating and see some better animations before hearing about a new map every other month or so. At least Lazy Day releases their shit for free. I’m starting to smell a cash grab.
Hey I just wanna say I absolutely love session skate sim I purchased it the other day it's so fun I'm a skater in real life but I had to quit as I smashed my back so many times on the ground and on rails I have done an injury on my lower back it's hard to walk now so this is the closet thing to me skateboarding again thank you guys for making this game I absolutely love it ❤❤❤

The only way i know of to turn around on large quarterpipes naturally is to powerslide. Drift it though.. like a car. You can even spin while drifting. Wont rewlly make sense till ya try it
A just some suggestions for a future update...would be cool to have the character sat down start up screen for console and throw down board feature maybe a good wall ride mechanic...for tricks I still think the no comply definitely needs to be in this game and maybe a truck stand...and for cosmetics still think that skinny jeans should be available for the male character same as the female character and maybe a little polish on some of the shoes some look too big for the characters feet...

how does your graphics look like that? i have all settings maxed and my character and environment dont look as nearly as good (i play on pc) is it some mod? another thing, i still, even to this day and this update have this bug while pushing mongo. my legs just twist and i bail, will that ever be fixed?
No mods, I have everything set to Epic, play at 60fps and 1920x1080 with Ultra Quality set for FSR. As for mongo push bug, this is because of the experimental feature Skater Physical Animation. You can either disable that setting or stop pushing mongo.
Shit, I still want grabs! Let’s add those! Bowls and half pipes are garbage in session but the minis are ok… once you get past the learning curve… LETS ADD GRABS!
this usually happens if you are using a program to read your controller while having also having Steam read the controller. For example, sometimes i need to us DS4 Windows to read my PS4 controller for certain things like playing Session on Epic Games or in the Unreal Engine for testing. however, Steam natively can read my PS4 controller without the use of a program. if i have the program and steam reading my controller at the same time, i get double input in game. so if you are using a program to read your controller but you are on steam, close the program and just use steam controller support ( you can enable specific support in steam controller settings)
Jesse if you guys really wanted to go out of left field for DLC, you should add-in Andy Anderson, so we can have some Powell-Peralta & Skull Skates graphics, gear, etc,. Would that even be feasible someday? I'm NOT asking for it ASAP, just something for you guys to think about down the road.
Can you please mention to someone to fix the smith grinds. Feeble are smooth but back smith's don't ever work. Plus the primo slide can be annoying. It'd be awesome if we get an update that does boned Ollie's and slappys like skate 4. Also alot of the trick names are wrong. Like a ghetto bird is a 180 kickflip unless you hardflip fully then trun but then it calls it something else and 360 flips with spins they call a body variable. Alot of things that needs fixed with an update other than all that this is by far the best skating game ever made.
My guy any news on a new update anytime soon,had a thought the other day about maybe adding Dev's Challenges maybe a certain line or trick that some of the Devs of the game did or really liked maybe add like they did so trick with auto catch or manual catch something like that...👍🏼

You can't turn on npcs in the dlc maps? I never tried. I know you can turn them on in the city maps.

New DLC is awesome! however small sugestion. You should add blackriver kicker big enough to make a way to new block with stairs in the end. I tried to make blackriver skatepark and I miss this piece a lot.
3:11 how did you get these maps from "extra net"?
They are other DLC maps. The Sewer map is a free map tho that you have to locate in the game (it shows up as ???? Until you find the entrance near Madison Park)

Not gonna lie I dig the map. And the black river ramps are pretty legit, However. I’d much rather be able to do some vert skating and see some better animations before hearing about a new map every other month or so. At least Lazy Day releases their shit for free. I’m starting to smell a cash grab.
Just downloaded it, not a bad map. I hope and pray we get larger dlc maps, more shoes/clothing and hard goods plus FIX THE TRANSITION SKATING PLEASE!
I hope we will get to do grab and big air tricks someday. Would never need any other skate game
Hey I just wanna say I absolutely love session skate sim I purchased it the other day it's so fun I'm a skater in real life but I had to quit as I smashed my back so many times on the ground and on rails I have done an injury on my lower back it's hard to walk now so this is the closet thing to me skateboarding again thank you guys for making this game I absolutely love it ❤❤❤

Will Session maybe update the Static objects so i can be dynamic? like tolleys,chairs,cones.
The only way i know of to turn around on large quarterpipes naturally is to powerslide. Drift it though.. like a car. You can even spin while drifting. Wont rewlly make sense till ya try it
A just some suggestions for a future update...would be cool to have the character sat down start up screen for console and throw down board feature maybe a good wall ride mechanic...for tricks I still think the no comply definitely needs to be in this game and maybe a truck stand...and for cosmetics still think that skinny jeans should be available for the male character same as the female character and maybe a little polish on some of the shoes some look too big for the characters feet...

As I was recalling the objects that were added in the Free Game Update (not dlc) I said “these were all part of the new UPDATE that was for free”. I didn’t mean the DLC was free…

how does your graphics look like that? i have all settings maxed and my character and environment dont look as nearly as good (i play on pc) is it some mod?
another thing, i still, even to this day and this update have this bug while pushing mongo. my legs just twist and i bail, will that ever be fixed?
No mods, I have everything set to Epic, play at 60fps and 1920x1080 with Ultra Quality set for FSR.
As for mongo push bug, this is because of the experimental feature Skater Physical Animation. You can either disable that setting or stop pushing mongo.

hi, I wonder if you know how to fix that if you go to options and scroll down, it scrolls 2 times instead of 1
this usually happens if you are using a program to read your controller while having also having Steam read the controller. For example, sometimes i need to us DS4 Windows to read my PS4 controller for certain things like playing Session on Epic Games or in the Unreal Engine for testing. however, Steam natively can read my PS4 controller without the use of a program. if i have the program and steam reading my controller at the same time, i get double input in game.
so if you are using a program to read your controller but you are on steam, close the program and just use steam controller support ( you can enable specific support in steam controller settings)

Jesse if you guys really wanted to go out of left field for DLC, you should add-in Andy Anderson, so we can have some Powell-Peralta & Skull Skates graphics, gear, etc,. Would that even be feasible someday? I'm NOT asking for it ASAP, just something for you guys to think about down the road.
Can you please mention to someone to fix the smith grinds. Feeble are smooth but back smith's don't ever work. Plus the primo slide can be annoying. It'd be awesome if we get an update that does boned Ollie's and slappys like skate 4. Also alot of the trick names are wrong. Like a ghetto bird is a 180 kickflip unless you hardflip fully then trun but then it calls it something else and 360 flips with spins they call a body variable. Alot of things that needs fixed with an update other than all that this is by far the best skating game ever made.
why do they keep making maps with transition and wall rides when it sucks
My guy any news on a new update anytime soon,had a thought the other day about maybe adding Dev's Challenges maybe a certain line or trick that some of the Devs of the game did or really liked maybe add like they did so trick with auto catch or manual catch something like that...👍🏼

Once you purchase the Mall DLC, In map select press left or right on the D pad and you’ll see Extra Network. That’s where all DLC maps will be

if the dlc had more content like new gear, new character, new shoes etc... I think I would be more interested in paying. otherwise, just pay for a new map and 6 drop object ill pass

All things are great and i am thankfull but i am still waiting to do smooth rock to fakie or blunt or back D … please update transition tricks .. almost no ones uses objects from object dropper… when we do not have a grabs (important thing in Skateboarding) give us at least smooth transition tricks …
