Thank you for the walk through- I fixed my daughter’s flute 🪈- but I used a tire pressure gauge to stretch out the metal as I sat ii front of the music store who said they would have to ship it off to be fixed.. the 20 year old at the counter had “never seen a wobble before” so he was void of use.
There was different tool I used for that job (mainly just for the foot tenon) that looked like two rollers like you would see on an old fashioned clothes-wringer. You put the foot tenon over one of the rollers, then the other one would contact the other roller from the outside of the tenon. You can tighten a screw that brings the rollers closer together to expand the tenon more.
Good stuff on this video, I have those tools but I've never used them together. I will try that. Also Ferree's suggest that you use a lubricant when using the shrinking tool, I Think they say to use bee's wax.
My Name is Paja Krajnjan I lernn a lot from your videos. You are amazing. Can you tell me where can I purchase this two tools that you are using in this video. Thank you very much master
It is hard to fix a foot joint that is too tight without the shrinking die, but you can try putting it on the flute with some cork grease and rotate it several times vigorously. This may or may not work and it can be a little risky, but you can try it if you wish to.

Very nice of you to share your knowledge. Nice work.
Thanks for the video. I have these tools but I learned some good tips in how to use them. Very useful, thanks again!

What if I don't have the tools to fix a tight foot joint?
