    I liked the way you did that. I'm appreciative of your ability to scale trees and buildings. I don't think enough people do that on a regular basis, and our bodies become weak. Getting those posts up too! That kind of thing is serious work, and so critical for good core strength.

    Nice building that. Little tip for soloing the posts up. Bore a lil hole in the top and throw the rope through the truss opening. That way you can lift and hoist at the same time to get it up there 😁😁 like your attitude towards difficult things like "this is difficult. That failed. Welp guess i'll just power through!" Keep the videos coming man! 😁👏

    Spencer, there really are may good ways to build a barn. You built this one, more important, you paid for the lumber! Some days you're a bit sketchy to work around but you aren't just lucky- lotsa pay attention on the margins! FR

    It's the paddleboard that adds character to the worktable. And why aren't the angle iron bolts into the concrete posts a bit closer to the center of the post?

    • @metaspencer
      @metaspencer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think you're right about those bolts! More central would mean less likely to crack to concrete ... thanks for the tip! I think I can still redo that :)

    I agree that the store bought brackets are flimsy but they do keep the wood from directly contacting the wood. Why didn't you separate them somehow?

    • @metaspencer

      I'm not too worried about it since the posts will be inside the building ... but ya never know!
