Thank you for your for your insightful video, Chiara. I am not a PhD student, but a lower-level student working a job and working a lot in my free time for a student radio in my city. I am certainly not sporting a 60h week, but I am keeping myself busy and, thus, your time management and self-organisation videos are very helpful.
All the best for your final PhD year, you're a hard worker and it's inspiring.

I'm glad you found it insightful! I feel for you! Like you I worked maybe 15-25 hours a week during my undergraduate and masters courses so I think that's how I learnt to fit so much into my days!

@@PhDandProductivity Yeah, exactly, I'm at 16h a week for my job right now. I guess it's a process. Thanks for your insights. :)

I love these kinds of videos. Even though I've in essence seen you do the math of how you're going to fit everything into 168 hours, I'm still amazed and in awe!

Thanks so much for sharing how you schedule your week! I'm pretty sure you introduced the idea of time-blocking and deep work to me (+ the 12-week year) - a total game-changer! It's been so fun following along your Ph.D. journey, and I look forward to seeing you smash your final year goals 🤩 Hope you're having a great day 🙌

Aw wow! That's great to hear. Sometimes I'm not sure if I'm just talking about things people already know so it's great to hear that I've passed some info on!

Hi! Just after coming across your channel. It is great! Thank you so much. Can you suggest good software for creating an initial PhD outline/research design? I'm an early stage PhD candidate in arts and humanities. Something that at a glance gives the focus of the research but as you zoom into other areas and see the details? Like a moving mind map! Any suggestions welcome! Thanks again

WHO knows. I'd like to do a part-time post-doc so that I can keep the other ventures I have going on spinning!
