    I picked this up in late June. Its a 2022 M10 TR. I’m 5’8” and a M fits great. I have room to go up/down with the bars
    It’s Amazing! Been on it a dozen times from technical trails to xc race to a paved 2hr ride. Literally zero complaints… Climbs, descends, handles well, lock-outs are huge. I can’t quite get the dropper dialed in yet but it’s just about realizing it’s an option.
    Def would recommend.

      The m10 tr is a great price-ratio option. Dont need any better specs. Just perfect equipped.

    This wasn't on my shopping list but now it is. Next year I'm moving from the CO mountains to the midwest so this may be a good option for the tight twisty midwest single track that doesn't have much elevation gain but can still hold its own when I travel back to mountainous terrain. Plus I like the 2 bottle mounts, so could be a good option. What's the weight of the large? One thing putting off the bike is the May 2021 delivery; MAY!!!

      This would be an awesome bike for those kinds of trails. It covers ground fast. I’ll have someone weigh this thing and I’ll get back to you.

    The cable routing/set up on that bike is doing my head in 😆

      There’s a lot going on with all the lockouts and dropper. The squidlock lever simplifies the levers on the bar a bit though.

    I sized up also on this bike. I felt like a medium felt better.

    I have this bike coming in: 2022 M Pro TR, and am also 5’9” but opted for the medium. Do you think a slammed/ longer stem is over the top? I ride a pretty aggressive fit on my gravel bike. I also LOVE the feeling of a smaller bike that offers twitchy wreck less riding.
    Bought it bc I’m a sucker for long long days in the saddle and love climbing.

    I noticed the leverage curve is very regressive on this bike (very firm up top, softens throughout the travel). Did you notice this on the test ride?

    • @bikersedge
      @bikersedge  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We felt It rode high in the travel which is a good thing - makes it feel snappy. Then, it opens up for the bigger hits. We didn't experience too many harsh bottom outs while filming our first ride impressions.

      The biggest factor is going to be tires. As far as suspension goes, it locks out very well.

    • @bikersedge

    I am also 5'9" and the Orbea site puts me in a S? I see you're riding a L though. For a newer mountain biker (im a road guy), would you recommend a M or L? Great review btw. My road bike is a 54 for reference.

    • @bikersedge
      @bikersedge  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      At 69” you’d be at the upper end of a medium on Orbea’s size chart. I’d definitely recommend starting there. If you have the chance to test ride both sizes (M and L) that’s the best way of knowing. Giving out size advice over the Internet always scares me a bit.
