The 100% trick with my eggs is have the water to a hot rolling boil before putting the eggs in the water. It has something to do with the inside membrane. It releases it. I watched someone do a very scientific video on it once. I’ve never had issues peeling since. Never put them in before water is rolling.

This! I was here to say the same! A rolling boil, then gently lower them into the water with a spoon! Nothing more to add! Perfect eggs every time and peel comes right off!

I’m so happy to see you back! I’ve missed your face! Your videos give me such comfort. I don’t know how to explain it. I rewatch your videos all of the time.
Now that you are sharing your books with us, that just makes them that much better!
Supposedly people with anxiety find peace in watching videos or movies over and over, because they know what going to happen so they’re not scared. At the same time, reading books helps them transfer to another world outside their problems.
I feel both of those things. I love to read and watch your down to earth family.

My husband tried this trick where you put 1” of water in your pot along with a rack (we used the one that came w my instant pot), then you elevate the eggs above the water and steam them. Let the pot heat up FIRST, that way the membrane doesn’t cook to the eggs. Cook ‘em 13 minutes, then do an ice bath for 15 minutes. LEMME TELL YOU, this was LEGIT the most amazing thing we’ve ever done. Worked like a dadgum DREAM. 🥚🥚🥚

Surely you haven’t tried ALL the tricks for hard boiled eggs, or you’d not be having so much trouble. I finally found my easiest way was putting the egg in the water after it has started boiling, boiling for exactly 10 minutes, then immediately putting the egg into a bowl of ice and water. Then I crack, roll, and peel by sliding an upside down spoon under the shell and sliding it around the egg, loosening the shell. Works like a charm.

My eggs method has never failed me! Get the water boiling First , then gently add the Cold eggs. The cold eggs hitting the hot water causes that membrane to immediately shrink over the egg. This results in easy peel eggs everytime. I still do a few minutes in an ice bath for good measure and crack then on the small pointy end, rolling the egg against the sink or counter to break the shell all around. Give it a try!

  • @PeaceIsYeshua

7:42 🥚 My dad taught me this! Simply break the egg in half, then take a spoon and spoon out the egg. If presentation is important, it won’t be as pretty as peeling it, but it’s super fast!

Boil your eggs and then crack shell on counter and roll and the shell will literally fall off.

Hi Neisha, do you do hair masks? If you do, a couple of weeks ago I started doing rhassoul clay instead of shampoo. You need a pointy bottle 2 tablespoons of the clay and water then shake it all up so the clay is mixed with the water and looks like muddy water. Then apply it all over your roots to ends. Massage your scalp and leave for 20 mins. Then rinse. It cleans my hair so well and it strengthens the hair strands. It pulls toxins/chemicals/ oils and dirt out of your hair whilst moisturising it. Much better than lots of chemicals stripping your hair then artificially adding the moisture back in. My hair is very dry and curly naturally. You can use bentonite clay to do a treatment too. I’m going to try apple cider vinegar as a rinse for afterwards. 💖💖💖

Here is the best way to cook hard boiled eggs so that they will peel easily. Steam them, fill your pan with an inch of water and put in a steamer basket and bring to a boil, then turn off the heat, then carefully add your eggs in a single layer to your steamer basket, put the lid on and turn the heat on to medium/high and cook 10 mins for soft yoke, 12 - 14 for fully cooked. Transfer to ice water to cool. Worked perfectly for me when my eggs used to look mutilated before.

For the eggs: Don’t use a non-stick pan, I put baking soda in the water and tap the rounded part of the egg with a spoon prior to adding to the water, it releases the membrane. Bring to boil and take off heat-cover and wait 10 minutes. Drain and add cold water and ice-works for me!

I know if I use eggs that are a few weeks old work best. I boil them for 10 minutes, drain water off then set them in the sink with cold water and ice bath and crack them in the cold water for like 10 minutes then take the shells off. It seems to work

Perfect peel eggs: I use a stainless steel pot. Bring water to boiling. Slowly lower eggs in w ladle. Boil for 15 minutes. Drain water from pan and then run cold water for 5 minutes. Peels perfectly. Not overdone.

The fresher the eggs the harder to peel.

I have actually not gone this to be true at all... I've literally boiled hundreds of eggs and sometimes the freshest just laid eggs peel beautifully and some that I purposely waited till they were nearly expired and they were terrible to peel, I think the tapping the egg with a spoon till u hear a light crack before u boil trick or waiting till the water is fully boiling works much more fool proof

Very lightly tap the bottom of the eggs with a spoon until you hear a tiny crack. Add cold water to cover, bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes, remove from heat and cover, let stand 10 minutes. Put in ice bath, perfect eggs every time… that peel! The peel slips right off!! I promise!

Neisha, I love that you have started talking about the books you're reading. I'm not nearly as much of a reader as you are (because it is SO difficult for me because of massive concentration issues...maybe undiagnosed ADHD or something? I don't know). But reading is such a wholesome addition to your content. And when I DO read, it is always non-fiction...so I can't wait to hear about those particular books that you end up with.
Love you and Dr. Berry and your babies so much!

Totally love that you are a reader too.... This year I set some reading goals - whatever I want, mostly, but also one non-fiction and one classic per month. :D I find I read a LOT of fantasy, mysteries, and historical fiction and then a smattering of other genres.

I can’t wait until your book comes out so excited! You and your family are amazing. Thank you for all that you and Dr, Berry do for us in this community. Keeping it real.

Yaaay! You are on a quest to write a book, thats so amazing. Congratulations. I was wondering why you havent posted in 2 weeks, so im glad you did. Get well soon Neisha.
For easy peeling of the egg shells, place them in a cold icy water immidiately after boiling. And change the water or ice after few minutes to keep it cold. It works everytime.
