  • I hope you enjoy another keto/carnivore/ketovore what I eat in a day vlog. This video focuses on why I eat this way for my mental health. After years of struggling with anxiety and panic attacks this way of eating has made my life so much better. I haven't had a panic attack in over 5 years, and that's a miracle. Please to the time to read the book BRAIN ENERGY by Dr. Christopher Palmer linked here : amzn.to/3R5AMPT (affiliate link)

I haven’t had a panic attack since going carnivore either!!!! I’m so excited about this (because they are truly awful - I cannot operate or function at all when they happen, and thought I was having a heart attack the first time). Thx for doing this video and helping others!!

That’s amazing and something I look forward to correcting too. Do you use dairy at all? I’m useless without my coffee, but I love putting a splash of cream in it and wonder if that could be hindering my progress.

I do have dairy and it does not affect me adversely. Heavy cream in my coffee - yes please! And cheese. And sour cream too!

Thank you Dr. Berry and Neisha, from those of us suffering panic attacks.Hearing your story is inspiring. Over 40 yr period, I ended up in ER with two that I thought were heart attacks. During the "C" thing, I had them almost daily/weekly...that was the time I was trying to get back on Keto. I now know my triggers: sugars, grains, seed oils and food additives. BTW L-theanine can help in the short term.

My husband and I had tried for a couple years to have a baby and lost one we went on carnivore for a month and I got pregnant with our beautiful little girl to 100% attribute being able to have our little ones to the carnivore diet. We strayed from it for a while, but are back on track and feeling better than ever.

Hey Neisha. Cleanest peanut butter you can get is to make your own. Super easy. Roast a cup or two of peanuts 350° on a sheet pan for a few minutes till you can smell the roasted goodness. add a bit of real salt. Let cool. Add to your food processor and run till it’s the consistency you like. 😊! Enjoy.

Make sure you get the right kind of peanuts…I forget what they are called but they grow on bushes instead of on the ground. The peanuts that grow on the ground have mold and all kinds of pesticides on them.

@@FloridaCatholicGuy I was ecstatic to hear about this, but I can’t seem to verify online that the Valencia peanuts are grown above ground...is there something I’m missing? Because, as you say, they would be much less risky with the toxins.

Thanks for being real. I'm in my 50's and have had a 'food as comfort' issue my whole life. But I am very strong willed, so I have tried everything. I did Atkins and lost over 100 pounds in my 30's. Then gained it back. Did the HCG junk in my late 40's and lost again, gained it back. I did paleo, vegan, keto, and the everything you want to eat in between. I went totally plant based in 2019 and for a year a half I stuck to it like glue, my health getting worse by the day until I was basically disabled from inflammation and arthritis. I'd only lost about 25 pounds. So I decided to listen to Dr Berry and went total carnivore a year ago. I still struggle but I'm committed. Today was a bad day and I talked myself out of fast food 100 times today. I made a huge burger patty and ate some goat cheese with it, then watched this video. You remind me to give myself a break, and that it's a marathon, not a sprint. Tomorrow is another day.

Same here! My first year of carnivore I was still eating for emotional reasons, just animal products. I was actually really overeating. My weight stayed exactly the same (40 lbs overweight). Then I got it down to not eating emotionally, but drinking coffee, for every reason thinkable. So now I’m where I’m weaning off the caffeine. Next step is weaning off the habit and just being able to be without a crutch. This is a very long process for me., but I see no way back.

I am 5 minutes into this and it is the most fu#$%ing real TH-cam I have ever seen you do, I mean so real, and let me say you are so totally real. You talk of your struggles, what you went through and you have before, but today for me You were vulnerable, laid it out, and I shout from the mountain everything You say, and learn your body, then do what is right for you, always, changing, best for you. Thank you SO Much for this because you validated me in this and I know many more. Keeping it real and sharing is so important. If you have not heard Maria and Craig Emmerichs? Latest TH-cam on Craig's health, their struggles, go listen , get real, we are all dealing with so much. Neisha bless you and your family and you dear girl, thx for This!

What a great idea to do it for love month! May talk my 82 year old husband into it(can’t get him to go carnivore (and don’t say let him eat what he wants! I want him around longer!

The reason I said flexible MOMENT is because if I allow myself to a whole DAY, I'll eat crappy the whole day. Have to keep myself reigned in or ill let myself down. So I have that small moment and then binge Dr Ken and Neishas videos and get back on track.

    • @teresalynnturner781
      @teresalynnturner781 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Also, Neisha taught us not to say " I cant have that" , instead say " I don't want it" , it's more empowering that way!

Yes would love to hear what you eat on a cheat day.. no I know it’s easier for you to eat something and get right back on it but you’ve mentioned or Ken has mentioned that he can’t so I’d be interested to know what his birthday or Christmas if he cheats at all and then what that might be also love all four of you!

I would love to see an off plan day. After losing 47lbs in 2022, I still have another 10 to 15 to lose. I am waiting for the day I can have something off plan as a rare treat and not spiral out of control. Also, keto has definitely improved my mental health. Not drastically, but certainly noticeable.

I've been eating a proper human diet for three years and I don't have a baby. I have lost 99 lbs. lowered my blood pressure and cholesterol, A1C down to 4.7. No more nerve pain. Vision is improved. Back feels better. No baby though. Thank you to Neisha and Ken.

The mental health benefit of this diet is enough by itself to eat this way.
Bonnie looks so much like Beckett. I hadn’t noticed that until this video. She’s absolutely adorable.
Homeopathic remedy Chamomila 200 is a real lifesaver during sleepless teething nights. I hope you and the baby get some proper rest soon.

I don't like to eat out either. We went to Five Guys on Saturday because that's where my son wanted to eat. I got the double bacon cheeseburger bowl with onions, pickles, and mustard. The patties were TINY!!!! That and a fountain drink was over $18.00! I was not happy. Spent $18 and was still hungry and had to eat again when I got home. I had just bought 5 pounds of ground beef at Sam's for that price. -_- Great video, Neisha!

I also can go off-plan minimally without going crazy. I go right back to the way I want to eat. I eat the way that makes me feel good.
Our house is crazy too - 2 very weird dogs, a 27 yo son who is a bit the same as the dogs in his way. I am the only one who really eats more like the PHD. We are working on changing my son's diet because he has been having migraines and some gastro issues.

LOL, yeah the egg debacle. We're paying 10.00 a dozen for just the cheap stuff here in Southeast Utah. As soon as they said the price was going to skyrocket I bought 6- 5 dozen boxes and blended them up in serving size bags and tossed into the deep freeze. If you want a 5 dozen box now they're over 30.00....O.O
