It would be good if comparisons between shocks were made with the same springs, wheels and tyres. Larger tyres and large softer springs could be helping the vehicle a lot in these videos.

Fox 2.5 are terrible if you do any daily driving on them no matter what setting you put them on.

Have you experienced this yourself? I want to know because I'm getting mixed information. I too do not want a harsh ride on the street where over 95% of my driving takes place. I currently have a 2020 Silverado 1500 with the Z71 and Rancho Shocks and the handling is horrible and the truck bounces so bad over a dip it's almost dangerous. I'm trying to find the best solution and the 2.5 Elites are one of the shocks I was considering switching to but I don't want a harsh ride on the street. The roads where I live are bad enough with the many seams and irregular pavement due to decades of the city patching the roads instead of repaving them.

@@DucDNA yes, first hand, actually took a huge hit and got rid of it cause I had no parts to put it back stock. Fox and BDS assured me the many calls I made to them it would be smooth daily driver. Called after and they changed their tune to no it is a sport ride. Worst experience of my life and after this I will never modify a daily driver again. I also got mixed info from other ppl on forums too.

@@1613ckhris Thank you for sharing your experience. I think I'll pass on the 2.5 Elites because I'm not desert racing or doing overland trips, I just need a solution to the bouncy Ranchos but it seems coilovers are not the best option for my needs.
