The only good thing about Spider-Man 3 was Thomas Hayden Church's portrayal of Flint Marko/Sandman. I wish they'd dropped Venom and Goblin Junior and focused on Sandy instead.
Superman would rather than use Super speed to move people outta way , use Invulnerability to block Laser vision or flight to get Zod away than kill Zod as Pitch meeting suggested OSP-What makes Superman interesting how he saves people his main enemy is Collateral damage
@SirsasthNigam. Well in this version of the movie he was superman for only one day and he was fighting against someone who was trained as a soldier for his entire life.
@@RuniiousExactly! The movie was showing us his first flight. His first time being able to really use his strength in the open. I think he got caught off guard with all the choices and emotions so it got out of hand. He didn't have a plan because so far nothing like this was seen before on earth. He just did what the military would have done but worse.
I defend Spider-man 3 Venom. I wish he was somehow in No Way Home as well. Plus, still my preffeered desgin of Venom because he actually has the Spider-man symbol.
Joker: Folie à Deux is still one of the biggest unforgivable sins of comic book cinema. It completely takes back everything from the previous movie and utterly attacks the fans for liking the first one.
Yeah, the Wolverine Origins version of Deadpool was all shades of wrong. Even the closed up mouth, which DID happen in the comic due to Wade's healing factor going out of control, was handled wrong.
The one thing that superhero movies got wrong is Tobey Maguire Spider-Man’s web-shooters. In the film, we see that his web shooters are biological, and Peter in the film thought that shooting out webs by pressing his palm with two fingers is exactly how real spiders shoot out webs. But he did that in the comics because that’s where he press the button in the middle of his palm. But thankfully, that change is reasonable from Sam Raimi, if Peter Parker is a poor kid with never much money, it will make more sense to give him organic web shooters instead of mechanical. Yeah, he created mechanical web shooters with things he found in the dumpster, he’s a dumpster diver, but movie goers were not gonna take it seriously in a superhero movie at the time yet.
And besides, Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 also has organic webbing in the original 2099 comics. And he's very different from Peter and other alternate Spider-Men/Women.
Nah, the Rhino was fine as far as the version of that world is concerned. Rhino has never been a main villain type of character anyway. It's even somewhat based off the Ultimate Rhino version but I doubt anybody from WatchMojo knew that.
@@RandalReid that doesnt make it good. Or even fine. Their version doesnt even carry enough design choices over from the comics for it to be considered an homage
I don't think madame Webb is....bad. There are numerous of problems there including anachronism, and effectively bad dubbing from Ezekiel sims and wrong portrayal of Ezekiel sims since in the comics he is a hero. However some good thing for me is at least the women put in alot of effort and portrayed their characters ok. Actions story kinda reminds me of terminator judgment day and that's ok even tho terminator is even better and Ezekiel's death is laughably bad that it is funny
It triggered the toxic fanboys because all the heroes in it are women and they are portrayed strongly, rather than needing a man to rescue the damsel in distress. These virgins can't cope with women having autonomy. It is bad enough that they say "No* to these men's sleazy propositions. Just ask Critical Drinker.
@dhenderson1810 that doesn't remove them from being unlikeable at least. They are only unlikeable bc you guys kept comparing them with their comic book counterpart. To me they are likeable at least only Madame Webb. Yes she stole a taxi but that's only bc 3 other women are in danger. When you knew somebody else is in danger you do whatever it takes to save them just as long as none of your actions arent extreme
One thing that instantly comes to mind is how much the MCU has screwed over the Incredible Hulk. Honestly, I want the angry green giant that we all know in love again not the professor Hulk variation that actually makes me despise Bruce Banner. I was going to mention taskmaster, but the less said about that the better I just hope we get the real one in the future film, hopefully against Deadpool or something.
Smart Hulk Failed Initial Screen Tests Director Joe Russo said they also had that sequence rendered but it did not sit well with test audiences. "We had shown it to a few audiences, to test audiences, and none of them would accept it," he remarked. "I think it was just happening too quickly." Anthony Russo added they also had to prioritize other scenes for Infinity War's third act, saying "We just didn't have enough ... because we were in the climax of the movie, I don't think we had enough space to really tell that story in a way that felt satisfying, where you weren't just focusing on, 'Oh my god, there's a madman with almost a complete Gauntlet who's gonna undo half the universe.'"McFeely agreed that scene would not work given the weight of the impending Thanos snap. "Imagine before Thanos shows up, we had a scene where Hulk comes out of the bushes, and Natasha says, 'Hey, big guy, sun's getting low.' And he says, 'Oh, Natasha, that's not ... We don't need that now.' …and then they're all gonna get dusted. It was just tonally off." In the theatrical release of Infinity War, Banner failed to bring out the Hulk and was saved at the last minute when Thor, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot entered the battlefield with a rallying assault. Banner’s Smart Hulk was eventually introduced in Endgame as Professor Hulk.
Prof Hulk was in comics Bruce Banner and Betty were in love when he transformed into the Hulk, and his years of rampages threw a wrench into their relationship. There were many ups and downs, but eventually, Bruce controlled the Hulk. This let him and Betty get married. They had years of happiness together during the Professor Hulk era, but then tragedy struck. Betty found out that her years of being around the Hulk had led to her getting gamma radiation poisoning. This was exacerbated when Abomination gave Betty a transfusion of his own gamma-irradiated blood. Bruce and Betty then endured years of heartache, and her death put an end to one of the few happy times in their lives.
I liked the Eternals enough, but I think those superheroes who were never seen before in other media as much as the A listers, should have more developed stories.
In the comics, Eddie Brock was a big tough guy before he was Venomized. The symbiote could have chosen anybody. It chose Eddie. Not just for his hate of Peter, but for his formidability.
Not to mention Nolan's take on Bane has pretty much become a joke as well. Stuff like the Harley Quinn show make it a funny joke but still a joke all the same.
@@SirsasthNigam. Snyder is able to deliver good work if he has an existing material to work on and collaborators that understand his thought process (but that goes without saying) and could reign him in. When he's left to his own devices, that's when things fall apart as he is more style over substance when there's nothing to base his movie on. He's a visual director with a specific aesthetic to most of his movies (kind of a one note though), and movies like The 300 and Watchmen (I like his ending more than the alien squid from the book) do benefit from that.

The original Catwoman spin off was supposed to star Michelle Pfeiffer. (That's why they had her survive "Batman Returns") and was to be directed by Tim Burton. But it took so long for WB to commission it, that by the time they did, Pfeiffer had moved onto other roles and Schumacher was now doing Batman films.

Imo on all of these. 1) Madam Web was like a prequal movie to Spider-Man, cause he hasn't been born yet. If a sequal does come, part of the Sonyverse (Venom, Kraven, and Morbius). I'm sure the 3 girls will their powers, and all will have their suits. 2) As a 90's kid, nothing will change my mind about Batman & Robin. I liked that film then. 3) Wonder Woman 1984. Well Diana was still grieving over losing him. And its must've felt weird for Steven to b alive again for him to think on. But was just enjoying the moment. 4) The film's writers on Man of Steel confirmed that Zod deliberately provoked Superman into killing him, as he believed since his plans to rebuild Krypton failed, he no longer had a purpose to live. 5) I loved Catwoman. It made her more metahuman with more cat powers, then in Batman Returnswith only 9 lives. As for the name, well in the 1960's series she had a different name there too. 6) With the Dark Phoenix, being a split persona rather then a possessing entity was a neat idea. Even looking slightly like a zombie, reminds me of the PS2 game X-men Next Dimension, in where she looks all burned. 7) My sister and I both loved the Green Lanturn movie. The costume was awesome. And 8) Deadpool in Wolverine's Origin. When using Cyclopes blast, his eyes change to match his mask a bit. His action scene in his 1st appearance was epic. Being a pawn was a downer. But hey, in a post credit scene, his mouth was free again.
Imagine how Suicide Squad could have performed at BoxOffice, if Heath Ledger was alive to act the Joker in it. I still like Suicide Squad and its music, bgm..
What I hated most about Phoenix in X3 was the fact that right down her costume and portrayal of powers, she was essentially the Scarlet Witch in everything but name.
Shoemaker Bane was more correct, and even could have potentially been a better Bane, if they had known what to do with him. He's a knockoff Hulk. That's all you've got to do.

Superman - Jimmy Olsen CIA op I'm sure there are plenty more.
honorable mention: Venom - Venom. Tom Hardy does a great job but you can't truly have Venom without Spiderman. Spiderman is integral to the characters creation and motivation both for the Symbiote and Eddie Brock.
Sue Storm Being Fan Service I'm Sorry But my one huge gripe with Fantastic 4 (2005) Jessica Alba being wack off material for half the movie that's why Equally despised movies don't piss me off when they do It themselves like G.I. Joe The Rise Of Cobra (2009), Transformers (2007), Watchmen (2009), Kick Ass 2 (2013) and The Losers (2010)
I've not seen Madame Web, Fantastic Four: The Rise Of The Silver Surfer, Green Lantern and Catwoman. I knew about the twist of Iron Man 3 beforehand. The weakest for me Batman & Robin, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Fantastic Four, Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Suicide Squad, X-Men 3, Spider-Man 3 and Fant4stic.
Andrew Garfield is a better Parker than weedy Toby McGuire. Emma Stone much less annoying than Kristen Dunst. Also, Garfield did Spiderman's one liners, something McGuire's version lacked.
Good list. It surprises me though that Apocalypse from the X-Men movie was not on this. Not only did I fall asleep, but if you grew up with X-Men: TAS and comics, the portrail of the character was a huge let down.
The only reason they put Joker in Suicide Squad is because they felt wherever Harley Quinn goes, Joker can’t be far behind. Problem is, in all the issues of the comics of Suicide Squad, Joker appears in 3, and he is trying to kill Harley. Also, Gene Hackman’s portrayal of Lex Luther in the Christopher Reeve Superman movies was lame. Lex would never have anyone as bumbling as Ned Beatty’s Otis, and he wouldn’t kowtow to someone like Zed. If anything, he would have been like “Damn! It’s bad enough I have to deal with Superman, now I have this turkey, some hot chick, and Otis’s brother from another planet to deal with. Ah Hell no!” He would propose a temporary truce with Supes to get rid of them. Hugh Jackman, at 6’ 2” is almost a foot taller than Wolverine is supposed to be. New Mutants got Illyana Rasputin’s origin story wrong, plus missed a major opportunity when the doctor asked if they had heard the term “mutants”, Illyana could have said her brother was an X-Men. Giggity Giggity all right
To this day I still consider Heath Ledger THE JOKER. He pulled it off so masterfully imho. To his credit Joaquin Phoenix came VERY close in the first Joker movie but it was Heath Ledger who solidified the role all together. Sorry Jared Leto, its not from lack of trying but you kind of underscored the Joker's playful maliciousness. TBF Jack Nicholson cemented that role to but it was Heath Ledger who encased that cement in pure platinum and then added a layer of adamantium to complete it. RIP Heath Ledger, you were a legend!🥰😭
How about Joker: Folie Deux? Typical WB can never seem to get the character of Harlequin right, Joker is supposed to NOT care about Harley because he sees her as just another victim of his own crimes than a love interest and look at how wooden Gaga's portrayal was too
The phoenix also had another problem. In the series and comics the Phoenix Force is a galactic entity that places a part of it's powers in Jean making her the Phoenix and the power bit is overwhelmed by Jean's emotions turning her into Dark Phoenix. In the film X-Men 3 Phoenix is just a dark personality of Jean. No cosmic powers to find there. The Mandarin also should have had 10 rings of power, but the studio found it looked too much like the Infinity Stones so they removes that and later turned the '10 rings' into a single weapon in Shang Chi.
Many good points. Gene's death in X Men:Last Stand could be better, maybe,Joker in Suicide Squad is pretty bad,I agree,Victor Von Doom is great villain😀Julian McMahon was great😀Lex Luthor in Superman vs Superman is whiny. Terrible. I agree Chris Nolan redemeed Bane. Completely. Venom in Spider Man 3 is not bad. Making Catwoman not Selina Kyle is not that bad. Wolverine origins is pretty good. Deadpool in Wolverine::Origins is terrible. I agree. Good list
The Joker in Suicide Squad felt more like a pail guy with a grill Lex Luthor in Batman vs Superman had more Joker vibes than Lex Luthor. Furthermore, Jesse Eisenberg's performance in The Social Network was closer to Lex Luthor than the one he did in Batman vs Superman
No 5️⃣ "Shang-Chi" would eventually fix this but Wenwu ended up dying in the climax of that movie, and Iron Man was already gone after "Avengers: Endgame" hopefully a MCU soft reboot after the events of "Avengers: Secret Wars" will correct this mistake and finally have the comic book rivals fight each other in live-action here 🤖🍊
I want to say Zeus in Thor: Love and Thunder, but if we see it as if the whole movie was told by Korg, it makes absolute sense. It would be great if they added that to Avengers: Doomsday, and gave Thor some gory flashbacks of what really happened. Then with his "meditation" ( = soul searching) they can shape him into anything they want, and bring us back peak Thor.
13:51 Marvel does have Quality villains. They had Thanos, Ultron, Winter Soldier, Red Skull, Doc Ock, Sandman, Green Goblin, Electro, Venom(Tom's version and yeah I know he's an Antihero/hero in the films but still), Lizard, Carnage, Jean Grey, Magneto, Professor Stryker, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, Mystique, Vulture, Kingping, Ronin, Hella, Loki, hopefully RDJ's Dr Doom
In my opinion the one movie that got it right I think above 95% accuracy was The watchmen. I really liked the Winter soldier but, not sure that qualifies as much as the first one.
"The Punisher" with Dolph Lundgren should've been on this list. During the entire movie, he wears a plain black shirt without the skull image. How is that possible?
let me guess: absolutely NOTHING from 2021's _"THE Suicide Squad"_ is on this list? not Bloodsport's more generic origin story and character, not Mongal being killed by a helicopter instead of being able to trade punches with Superman, not Starro being a whiny bitch who's mind control instantly kills anyone he uses it on, NOTHING! am i right?

Could Jean Grey from X Men The Last Stand (12:32) kill Doctor Manhattan from Watchmen movie?
No, Manhattan is just too powerful
No
Teeecchhnnniicccaaalllyyy. Maybe. They both operate on the same/simular molecular level.
The only good thing about Spider-Man 3 was Thomas Hayden Church's portrayal of Flint Marko/Sandman. I wish they'd dropped Venom and Goblin Junior and focused on Sandy instead.
Yeah
Yeah can easily replace 10 with the Joker sequel as Galactus’s screen debut was more excusable compared to the latter
Shush...🤫 We're all pretending that a sequel to The Joker doesn't exist.
I never got the problem with a cgi costume on green lantern. His costume is literally made out of green light in the comics.
Man of steel final battle is greatly misunderstood.
Superman would rather than use Super speed to move people outta way ,
use Invulnerability to block Laser vision
or flight to get Zod away
than kill Zod as Pitch meeting suggested
OSP-What makes Superman interesting how he saves people
his main enemy is Collateral damage
@SirsasthNigam. Well in this version of the movie he was superman for only one day and he was fighting against someone who was trained as a soldier for his entire life.
@@RuniiousExactly! The movie was showing us his first flight. His first time being able to really use his strength in the open. I think he got caught off guard with all the choices and emotions so it got out of hand. He didn't have a plan because so far nothing like this was seen before on earth. He just did what the military would have done but worse.
How?

True but venom Doesn't peel his face back everytime he talks
Joker: Folie à Deux is still one of the biggest unforgivable sins of comic book cinema. It completely takes back everything from the previous movie and utterly attacks the fans for liking the first one.
Yeah, the Wolverine Origins version of Deadpool was all shades of wrong. Even the closed up mouth, which DID happen in the comic due to Wade's healing factor going out of control, was handled wrong.
So Catwoman was not Selena Kyle do was the Catwomen in the 1966 Batman series.

And besides,
Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 also has organic webbing in the original 2099 comics.
And he's very different from Peter and other alternate Spider-Men/Women.
Isn't a spider’s web spinner sort of a biological function, like it’s a part of their bodies?
Sewing Deadpool's mouth shut & the whole Phoenix arc in X - Men.
Nah, the Rhino was fine as far as the version of that world is concerned. Rhino has never been a main villain type of character anyway. It's even somewhat based off the Ultimate Rhino version but I doubt anybody from WatchMojo knew that.
Do not compare ultimate rhino to that abomination

"Just don't make the suit green, or animated"
BvS is the worst mistake in cinematic history
Thats your opinion?
surprised Batnipples didn't make the list
One thing that instantly comes to mind is how much the MCU has screwed over the Incredible Hulk. Honestly, I want the angry green giant that we all know in love again not the professor Hulk variation that actually makes me despise Bruce Banner.
I was going to mention taskmaster, but the less said about that the better I just hope we get the real one in the future film, hopefully against Deadpool or something.
Smart Hulk Failed Initial Screen Tests
Director Joe Russo said they also had that sequence rendered but it did not sit well with test audiences.
Prof Hulk was in comics
Bruce Banner and Betty were in love when he transformed into the Hulk, and his years of rampages threw a wrench into their relationship.
@@SirsasthNigam. I always preferred the 70s TV series better.
I liked the Eternals enough, but I think those superheroes who were never seen before in other media as much as the A listers, should have more developed stories.
Too many characters???? You haven't heard of X-Men?
In the comics, Eddie Brock was a big tough guy before he was Venomized. The symbiote could have chosen anybody. It chose Eddie. Not just for his hate of Peter, but for his formidability.
The Schumacher films’ Bane is a far call from Tom Hardy’s portrayal we all know.
Tom Hardy's portrayal wasn't that great, either.
Nolan's version is way better but it isn't source material accurate either, WatchMojo.
Synder did better job than Frank Miller barring Xenophobia
Not to mention Nolan's take on Bane has pretty much become a joke as well. Stuff like the Harley Quinn show make it a funny joke but still a joke all the same.
@@DianaGohan i liked Knightfall better than Tom Hardy Bane
Tom Hardy is great but Bane 's determination in Knightfall is terrifying
@@SirsasthNigam. Snyder is able to deliver good work if he has an existing material to work on and collaborators that understand his thought process (but that goes without saying) and could reign him in. When he's left to his own devices, that's when things fall apart as he is more style over substance when there's nothing to base his movie on. He's a visual director with a specific aesthetic to most of his movies (kind of a one note though), and movies like The 300 and Watchmen (I like his ending more than the alien squid from the book) do benefit from that.

They got the Halle Berry Catwoman wrong from the start with “Patience Phillips” when her name is originally Selina Kyle.

The idea of Galactus as a cloud is came from the King of Executive Meddling Tom Rothman during the filming of Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Number 20 should he number 1 if "pretty much everything" was wrong.
Imagine how Suicide Squad could have performed at BoxOffice, if Heath Ledger was alive to act the Joker in it. I still like Suicide Squad and its music, bgm..
Didn't mind the original "Suicide Squad".

What I hated most about Phoenix in X3 was the fact that right down her costume and portrayal of powers, she was essentially the Scarlet Witch in everything but name.

Typical WB can never seem to get the character of Harlequin right, Joker is supposed to NOT care about Harley because he sees her as just another victim of his own crimes than a love interest and look at how wooden Gaga's portrayal was too
I like MADAME WEB and I love THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 and SPIDER-MAN 3.

Can you even call he who doesn't have a smile a "Joker"?
