When I first saw star lord, I was like, “alright let’s see what’s the deal with this guy.” As soon as the music played I was like, “what the…” the rest of the way I was grinning so hard. I loved that intro.
Captain America should have been on here. The pod doors open and the smoke clears to reveal a scrawny little dude has been transformed into a jacked hero. Then, while barefoot, he chases down a villain driving away in a speeding car, dives into the water to catch a fleeing submarine, and then throws the guy out of the water onto the dock. That was legendary.
@mr.decencykeepinitreal6348 for me Batman Begins all the way I know it's not perfect which for some reason my older prefers The Batman I don't think it's a bad film. Familiarity for me.
You completely whiffed on the intro of Captain America, which is also another master class in building up to a payoff. The first half-hour of the movie made it abundantly clear why 98-lb weakling Steve Rogers was chosen for the Super-Soldier Serum: he is brave, fearless, loyal, kind, tactical, never gives up, and is always striving to do what is right. The serum was all about making his physical capabilities match his mental ones. And the transformation scene and subsequent chase do that in spades.
V V For Vendetta (2006) That Movie Is 18 years Old yet It holds up better than half the MCU In my opinion wish they wasn't remaking It though leave that movie alone
Not sure if this counts (as he was a sort of villain at this point in the movie) but the Silver Surfer intro in the second Fantastic Four movie definitely deserves a mention, if not a spot on the list.
Dredd is a widely underrated comic film! What About Darth Vader in “Rogue One” no one knew he was going to be in it at the end. That Intro was sick! You had Black Panther, which was a Dope intro but What About Bucky Coming back as The Winter Soldier? And I’m talking about the fight with Cap scene. Even though his intro was blowing up Nick Fury’s car the reveal of Bucky after the Cap fight saying “Who’s Bucky!” Was just Awesome. I feel like you missed some classic intros. We get it, Batman has some dope intros, but you should’ve chose the best of the 3.
@@MrMrjack18 I have to respectfully disagree. It was simply taking what had already been done to perfection by Michael Keaton, and trying to top it. Everyone knew what was coming.
Im sorry but Gandalf entry was ICONIC. Multi Oscar winning. OG. Mystical. The fireworks trick for the kids. A true character with class, wisdom and aura. He's my number 1. Robert downey junior as doctor doom could be even more groundbreaking though.
They say never meet your heroes, but Scarlett Johannson deserves my praise for her Black Widow work. She gets my heart racing every time a fight scene involving her gets going from _Iron Man 2_ onward.
First off, Thank you for citing Chris Reeve's 1978 Superman intro over Henry Cavill's 2013 Man of Steel. Still, Star-Lord and Nightcrawler ranking higher than even Superman or Batman (1989), not to mention Iron Man (2008), or Black Widow (2010) was too much. Spider-Man (2002) would've been a far better pick. As for Nightcrawler, Quicksilver's shots from Days of Future Past was way better. A missed superhero intro? The Shadow (1994), when he debuts in New York.
10:22 I’ve been saying it for years: Wonder Woman’s entrance in Batman v Superman came out of nowhere with no build up. She only appeared in a few scenes that could’ve easily been left on the cutting room floor and was a superfluous character up until that point. At no point throughout the film did she “rub shoulders” with Superman. Her theme song was ear splittingly bad. Nothing scene stealing about her in the slightest.🤦♂️
No way was Guardians a cinematic score. Love it. But it's a song. Superman. Come on. that's all parts that define cinematic. Any lower than number 2 doesn't stand up.

I would nominate Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch in either Avengers: Age of Ultron or WandaVision: Ultron for when she steps out as an Avenger and WandaVision when she finally embraces her destiny as the Scarlet Witch.
I always like the epic introduction to both Indiana Jones & James Bond, sure they both are not superheroes without no superpowers but they are just normal people who got great introductions.
To me, the 4ish second intro of Wonder Woman what the absolute best. They teased her in the plane leaving, then went totally into the battle that Batman and Superman were fighting. By putting her in where they did, almost giving you time to forget she was there, I feel the idea was to lead to viewer to believe that either Batman would have found a way out, or Superman was going to save him. But when Wonder Woman was the one to come out of that blast.... her own theme music... Her entire intro was paced and shot perfectly.
@@jasonpeach820 It came out of nowhere with no build up because she hadn’t done anything of importance throughout the whole film. Her leaving the plane and cutting back to the battle with Doomsday “giving you time to forget she was there” and then dah dah! There is! That’s not how good storytelling works and how not to do a Superhero introduction.
Dredd I've not seen. My top 5 Batman Begins, Batman, Robocop, Deadpool and Guardians Of The Galaxy. Captain America: Civil War is an honourable mention. The Mask for nostalgic reasons.

Same
Chadwick Boseman did a wonderful job on his performance as the MCU T’Challa AKA the Black Panther in all few MCU movies. May he rest in peace…
Facts
agreed. he should've definitely been top 3 minimum. but it's watchmojo of course...
@JuanEnriqueFloresJr and his death affected a lot of people. On and off screen.
Rip Chadwick 😢

Yes you are right
The man harassing Wolverine in the bar is not just a man that placed bets, but it is the man that lost to Wolverine in the cage fight ;)
Deadpool had an intro like no other. 🎉
Yay Nightcrawler finally getting the respect he deserves!
The Batman being 12 is criminally underrated
True
Now you need to do the best Supervillain Introductions ever.

@@nicholasfruin1 Agreed 💯
My personal favourite is Joker from Gotham. It was masterpiece.
I think they already have the villain intro ones not sure
Pin this comment! That would be awesome!
Batman's intro in The Batman 2022 was peak comic book cinema ✨
That batman was so weak and awful looking
@@Slickjack80 I guess you watched a different movie. The movie I watched introduced him as menacing & crazy
Star Lord was way too high... Black Panther, Wonder Woman, and Superman, way too low. Nightcrawler, PERFECT.
Facts.
Actor/producer Ryan Reynolds did a fantastic job as Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool. We can’t wait to see him as his character in the future.
Both ‘Batman Begins’ and ‘The Batman’ are still two of my top 8 favorite live action DC movies.
@JuanEnriqueFloresJr The Dark Knight.
@mr.decencykeepinitreal6348 for me Batman Begins all the way I know it's not perfect which for some reason my older prefers The Batman I don't think it's a bad film. Familiarity for me.
How Fox’s Quick Silver didn’t make this list is blowin mine!!!!

The wonder woman reveal was epic! Love that scene.

V V For Vendetta (2006) That Movie Is 18 years Old yet It holds up better than half the MCU In my opinion wish they wasn't remaking It though leave that movie alone
Another remake of a great movie, because it’s too hard to come up with a good original.
Not sure if this counts (as he was a sort of villain at this point in the movie) but the Silver Surfer intro in the second Fantastic Four movie definitely deserves a mention, if not a spot on the list.
Black Panther will always be my favorite intro
Not to hate. But Batman 1989 is no. 1.
Christian Bale Batman had the most exciting introduction. The moment where he said I'm Batman was amazing.
Exactly !! The set up was amazing, he terrirised the criminals.... and then the delivery of "I'm Batman was perfect !
Batman and Wonderwoman's intros were awesome!
So was Superman's. 🎉
Batman is so iconic he made the list twice.
I would also have added Netflix's versions of Daredevil and Punisher
3 times
X2 came out in 2003 and it was clear to us in the theater that there was a nod to the lobby scene from The Matrix going on with opening sequence.
When Thor gets back his hammer on earth in Thor is iconic!
Dredd is a widely underrated comic film!
What About Darth Vader in “Rogue One” no one knew he was going to be in it at the end. That Intro was sick!

I think Bales introduction in Batman Begins was far better ! he terrorised people and then the iconic line "I'm Batman"

@@rogerward3185 The delivery of "I'm Batman" was far better of Bale ! we disagree !

I totally agree. It set the standard and has yet to be topped, in my opinion.

Did you forget Optimus Prime, his first transformation and introduction surprised a million people
Because Darth Vader isn't a comic book character and that wasn't his introduction.
They say never meet your heroes, but Scarlett Johannson deserves my praise for her Black Widow work. She gets my heart racing every time a fight scene involving her gets going from _Iron Man 2_ onward.
Blade should be in the top five. That fight scene at the blood rave is incredible.
Why is batman on this listing three times?
Answer: because he's batman.
My childhood will always put Michael Keatons Batman intro at number 1.
some of those introductions were freaky my man
Michael Keaton, Robert Pattinson and Christian Bale are the best Batmans. That's why their entrances are so good.
Deadpool, The joker health ledger, Black Panther,Bane , Wolverine, Spiderman some of my favorites good list thanks WatchMojo 👏🙌
I was not expecting number one. I’m very happy about it though.
RIP Chadwick Boseman. My king. And Wonder Woman is just a total boss.
The avengers introduction is the ultimate scene of marvel movie stories ever
The Mask
Wolverine
Batman (Nolan version)

The Shadow (1994), when he debuts in New York.
Starlord was too high, but Nightcrawler’s ranking was correct.
I went to see Guardians with fear and apathy and it only took that 1-minute segment to change my mind. It was perfect.
These kids would never experience that Night crawler intro in theatres...amazing
Starlord’s introduction is good, it I don’t know if he beats out all of those truly classic ones.
You can tell Young Dueces actually watches the things he covers.
I waited a long time for you to get to #3.
But you did get there.
Blade. The greatest opening scene to tell you who the character is.
The music.
The atmosphere.
The edit.
Perfect.
Awesome list! Number 1 is definitely one of my favourites, it instantly made the character my number one in the franchise at the time 😊
WHAT?! Blade just on Number 8?!
I love black panther intro
rapheal in the first turtles movie when he lifts the manhole cover and says damn or when he saves april in the subway

🌟Nightcrawler 😝
🌟Wolverine 😎

Love the narration from Young Deuces. Nice to have a fresh new voice that doesn't like they're sleep walking.
That Quicksilver slow motion scene should've been on here. That was a masterpiece and it got even better with Jim Croce's Time in a Bottle playing
What are you? am Batman a great introduction I watched Batman Begins none stop on DVD back then because I love it so much what a terrific cast
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your support!
I love Blade
I think that Nightcrawler at the whitehouse was the most Epic Superhero intro in Superhero movies.
What about Superman’s introduction in Man of Steel, Tobey’s Spider-Man introduction, and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man introduction?
1 why is andrew garfields spiderman pov to reveal the suit not on this list??
2 robert Pattinsons intro > Christian bales
Technically, The Mask is the variant of Loki. I wish Disney can cast Jim Carrey as one of the Loki variant in MCU😊
Does Deadpool 3 intro count as a Deadpool introduction
There's nothing that gets more bone chilling than "I'M BATMAN"
Superheroes and Supervillains alike would always go with *"PRESENTATION!"*

As great as most of the Batman introductions are the Nightcrawler introduction is without a doubt the best, & I’m saying this as a huge Batman fanboy
