I've heard that there is a proven mathematical equation to work out the correct number of guns that you should own. It's n +1. - with n being the number of guns that you own at the moment! 🤣🤣
It’s never about need really it’s mostly about want . However I have shot field target completions and this required a specific set of attributes for that , I also carried out medium to long range pest control again my ft rifle would do this but was heavy and loud so another rifle came along , then really close range ratting and so didn’t want the power or size . I could have used one gun for everything but I have a sense of adventure .
I was looking at the Pro Sport recently and wondered what it sounded like and how hard it was to cock, so watching your video really helped me! Thanks for making this video! And I didn't think that was a bad group for being outside at that distance. Take care and I hope you feel better soon!✌️
Thank you. Pro Sport doesn't actually sound quite like in the video because my lapel mic is right next to the stock (so you hear the internals...) it doesn't twang like that! I have a full review of the Pro Sport here th-cam.com/video/ITNMDR2kjhU/w-d-xo.html and shooting demo here th-cam.com/video/LkPN-r2Dr6w/w-d-xo.html (the REAL sound of it)
Hope you're feeling better soon mate. Looking forward to seeing your review of the Express Compact. Having an Hw97 I shouldn't need another gun but I've got my old smk b3f, an underlever in .22, a beeman s1 in .177 and my Express Compact which isn't working at the moment, the parts I need for it aren't available so to get them I'll have to buy a new gun! I can't really afford it but it's the best for walked up shooting. All the best.
Interesting to hear your problems after covid with joints, I had it but wasn’t to bad, but for months after suffered with wrists, elbows, shoulders, and knees,
IF you can get them, try the Daystate Rangemaster Sovereigns in the Prosport. A close second (for me, in TX200 HC) are the AA Field, or even the AS Express.
Hope your well .I own a tx and prosport and shoot left bit guns are right just due to being mostly blind in right eye sice a was 8 am now 41 and find them spot one I also own a 93 modle 90k a webley tracker 177 and a daisy red ryder plus a crosman 1377 with stock and red dot sight a no wt ya mean about having on brill gun y do ya need out else sometime ya just want more lol

I made a pistol video when I had the virus the first go around. It was rough. Hope you get to feeling better soon! Walking got me back to normal faster than anything else.
Thanks for this vid and I hope you recover from the Covid. I noted that when shooting your Pro Sport you are resting the fore-end on something instead of your left hand but seem to get good accuracy. Have you noted any difference when using a different technique I.e. supporting the gun with your left hand.
Thanks Thomas. Left hand support didn't work for me to be honest. Shortly after making this video I actually dumped the whole bench rest thing - I just practice offhand shooting now. Drew
I had a hard time with the C-19 too a few months ago! I did not shoot for almost a month... Take care Sir! _We always want more than we need espescially if it shoots! Haha_
Just come across your channel and I love your presenting style. A natural in front of the camera! I have a hw97k, tx200 mk2 and AAs400 but your pro sport is tempting me 😂
Hi Mate, I just love watching your videos and I must say I love your style, the way you shoot. You remind me of the wild west. I wish you a speedy recovery from covid. Enjoy your shooting take care Mate. Happy shooting, enjoy as many airguns as possible good luck Mate. Xavier Lobo from Goa cheers
Lol I ask myself that same question why do I need it lol I just love to shoot so you always need a back up in case one goes down for repairs and we are all a bit of collectors aren’t we lol stay awesome keep shooting
No excuses needed mate, quality COVID shooting, & get as many airguns as makes you happy, 😁 look forward to the Remi' compact 👍 Best Regards & get well, Jon 👍 Hawkes eye TV 👍
You have my sympathies for covid. Its a nasty sob. Ive had it x3, exposed to it at work. As a nurse. Seen enough people including colleagues die from it. You can never have too many guns. I have a tx200 carbine, its as accurate as my pcps. Beautiful gun, but then another shiny one takes your eye. Id quite like a bull pup now haven't got one yet 😀
Thanks Mike. Yeah covid was a bitch this time around - first time was just a rough week, second time was a rough 4 months. Must have got a real heavy viral load that time. By the way, thank you for doing what you do brother. Funny you mention bullpups - I always hated them but lately... they're starting to look interesting to me 😁
Nice little vid, ofcourse your so right about why buy another gun when you own a pro sport 😉 mines a 22 and like you I love it. Have you tried the qys pellets?
Hi Phil - yeah I've probably tried every pellet ever made when I first got this rifle. QYS are very good. I just find I get my best results with JSB - either RS Exact, 8.44 Exact, but particularly consistent with JSB Hades.
its maybe not gone in a short time ,i got it in spring 2020 or wat it was . sympthoms covid ,or flu ,i could not shoot a pistol for 12 months . shaking . but now its going better but not as good as before , rifle not a problem . , eat eggs ,and no oils or margarine.
Thanks Peter. Yes, covid is strange - this is the second time I've had it. First time was over in a week no problem, but this time not so easy. As for food - I've been 'plant based whole food' nutrition for about 6 years, it certainly improved my health.
The pro sport is beautiful thats why you need another gun for rough shooting work. If you damage it cosmetically you will never recover from the shock!!.

Thanks Dave brother. That Hw97 is a fine rifle. If you don't mind me asking - what broke on your Compact?
Interesting to hear your problems after covid with joints, I had it but wasn’t to bad, but for months after suffered with wrists, elbows, shoulders, and knees,
I still have joint pain I didn't have before. Not debilitating as such, but most unwelcome!
@@PlanetDrewdog lasted me for 6 months roughly

Thanks for the suggestion my friend, will do.

enjoyed your show, thanks. hope you still recover well. had covid in july.awful, ended in hospital ,breathing problems. Still not the same but better.
Yes, it's rough. I've been unable to return to work for 2 months now, my job is physically demanding (groundworks/construction)

love the end ..."we keep doing it"

Thanks Travis I'll give it a go.
Simple fact is my friend is there’s never enough guns, great video👍🏼
So true 😎

Ah thank you so much Chris. Nice set of rifles you have my friend - I'm saving for an S410 at the moment.
I know sound on vids can be weird but that sport seems to have a bad twang or us it the target bosrd
Yeah it's my lapel mic is resting on the stock when at the shoulder - the rifles ok.

@@PlanetDrewdog same here, like the idea of something small and pointable going in ghe cabinet
Is it true these don't need any tuning vs those hw97 etc?
I can't comment on the 97 really but the pro sport is ready to go to work out of the box.

Thank you! I wish I could blame the ammo... but I felt it was a bad hold when I fired it to be honest - my cheek moved off the stock I think.

We buy these rifles because it's an addiction I've had to sell a few it got out of hand a bit I need therapy.
