Wow you guys make the best videos on how to be a professional towing company, top-notch, while also doing a learning class on how you should absolutely positively never ever leave your shop unprepared for the worst, while always carrying a small toolbox full of tools with the bare minimum of supplies, so much stuff like this can happen so that you don’t die out in the desert. However, about 40% of the time you wind up doing a show like this where you forget to bring simple common equipment that every tow truck should have with them at all times especially if you come there in a trailer L O L. You do awesome videos on what could go wrong very quickly very easily and how to stay calm while fixing it, dealing with it, dealing with your company there, all without dying in the desert, which is very easily done in a situation like yours. More people should praise how mentally stable you are in dangerous situations like this when everything goes wrong except your brain. You keep it together under a very stressful situation, which is very manly of you to do. It shows leadership, it shows how smart you are and keeping it together, keeping your crew together so nobody gets hurt or left behind or dies in the desert or in any other situation that you got yourself stuck in because somebody forgot to put a roll of duct tape, a combination wrench, extra nuts and bolts or other every day items, etc. etc. thank you for showing the pros and cons of a dangerous business that you do and how to be prepared and how to handle such life threatening situations while coming home every night safely. For me, I am very proud to watch these videos because I learn something every single time I watch these. I learned from all the good points as well as all the bad points. You showed it all so people like me could learn so much more so if something happens to me or to someone else, I/we know how to handle the situation because of smart people like you showing me and others how to survive and fix things when you are on your own in a dangerous area. Keep up the good work and thank you sir !!

You alone showed several good examples of why this drone could save your life, save your equipment, get help, find people, check for road obstacles, look ahead for any potential dangers/damages, find alternative routes incase your cellphone or GPS is not working properly, etc…This alone most likely made someone put one with their gear today !

He used to tell his employees that his policy was "Work like a man, get paid like a man." What he meant was that he expected his construction crew to work hard and do skilled work, and they in return should expect to get paid properly and treated fairly for their work.

Doesn't matter how big or strong to make something, there's always a way to break it.
The trick is choosing where it breaks, leave one inexpensive easy to replace part weaker than the rest so it breaks before something big and expensive does and carry a couple of spares. When I was a kid my dad and his friends built their jeeps and trucks with that in mind and usually chose to use a weaker(compared to everything else that was overkill) u-joint at the diff and it acted like a fuse. Worked quite well for them as I recall, then again they weren't doing anything near as crazy as you guys.

Matt, the heavy wrecker is, and always will be, a work in progress. It's a totally scratch-built R&D, prototype and first production model, all in one unit. It's being simultaneously field tested and put into hard service. Yet it has performed incredibly well in every situation that it was designed for. With its monster tires and awesome power, it absolutely crushes the landscape. With rear-steer, it manages to snake up narrow, complex and technically challenging canyons. I have loved every specialty vehicle you have produced, but the Heavy Wrecker is my favorite. Don't ever get discouraged by the learning curve, just keep on perfecting it.

They could be made to swing out and lock into place on the occasions they are needed. When not in use they would swing tight to the heavy tubing behind the rear window glass and lock into place. It would increase safety and remove any chance an employee could fall off in front of those rear wheels!

Agreed. When everyone comes out alive (including the wrecker, this time), it is definitely a win. Matt's positive attitude in the face of multiple challenges is epic in my book, or maybe he has really good editors.

When reinforcement comes in the form of automotive parts and victory pie, that’s one solid team Matt built around him

the drone scouting is pretty cool when you are unsure of the terrain ahead, to get a full view of the landscape and what's ahead. and to locate the customer that doesn't always have pinpoint accurate directions. You Have a great team, Tom Tom is a hell of a good worker, wants to make sure stuffs done as perfect as possible, and it's a balance to Matt's make it work, as quickly as possible with some crafty thinking, together you guys are a great balance. and Colby Seems like he's Killin it on the camera and piloting the drone for the eye in the sky footage for all of us. appreciate y'all and what ya do. also was cool to see the H Re-whitening Good Job helping out with your town, Tradition, Community and Family are all important to me as well and I appreciate you including it in the video!!👌🙏🏼✌🏼
