I rode iron gwazi last april as my first rmc, and it blew me away on every level. By far some of the greatest airtime and pacing anywhere, it's just so damn fast and intense. Next month I'll be riding twisted cyclone (unfortunately no arieforce cause it's a band trip) so that'll also be cool!

I just rode my first RMC being AireForce One yesterday and it instantly became my number 1 coaster and it wasn’t close.
I rode Hakugei in December 2022 l, and though I only got one ride, it was incredible! The inversions are top tier and the wave turn is one of, if not my favorite coaster element of all time. Currently my no. 1 RMC

I have only been on one RMC, that being Steve. I feel kinda sad now looking at all the others and knowing that some will come close, but i dont think any will top Steve. Im going to Hershey this year and i love the new lapbars on Thighcrush and the look of Wildcats Revenge. Dont think they will top Steve tho.

wicked cyclone its at my home park I've had over 50 rides, and while I love it, I think twisted timbers is the best RMC, not just the best small RMC but the best in general, maybe it was just running crazy when I rode it, but even STEVE feels forceless in comparison, heck steve is forceless in comparison to cyclone on a good day too, but cyclone has not sustained ejector so it cannot compete imo

well, it depends on your point of view, traditionally it's not counted but it's part of the geographical region of scandinavia so I've always considered it a scandinavian country. But I can understand why you don't count it that way.

Sooo you know my story, I was gone from Theme Parks for a while, but here I am. Anyway what is funny only RMC I have ever been on which was this past Sept is Steel Vengaence. That being said…I didn’t have trims and the ride was flawless. It’s hard to imagine anything better. It’s got the drop, it’s got the speed, it’s got the inversions, it’s got the finale. I just don’t see it getting better. We will find out though. Minimum of 6 of those I will be hitting soon… including those in Georgia and Florida.
for me twisted timbers beats it, the ejector on steve just can't compete

I only got the trimms defently nerfs the ride i even liked Untammed better. Not that Steel vengeance is a bad coaster even nerved. I probable still gonna like Zadra better its more my kind of coaster.

I absolutely agree with your #1 RMC! The whole layout is just so relentless. With that comment on many enthusiasts dropping it from #1, I think it has to do more with them wanting unpopular opinions to get more clicks on their takes. Same thing happened with Millennium Force, Fury 325, Velocicoaster, etc. Anyways I'm so excited to ride ArieForce One for the first time in April!
Unpopular opinions to get more clicks? Do you believe that they dropped steel vengeance from their #1 with earnest? Do you believe that they need to keep it at number one over something like iron gwazi?
I know I'm playing into stereotypes but I actually find every coaster you listed overrated but for actual good reasoning and not just that "its short"
Hakugei is absolutely incredible. Out of the 4 I’ve ridden (the others being the European ones) it’s the best RMC by FAR and I love all of them so much. The ejector airtime on Hakugei is ridiculously brutal and the inversions are also really solid for RMC standards. We’ve been in a group of 7 people in Japan with 2 other friends of ours that also visited Nagashima Spa Land a few days later. And we all had the same thought after riding Hakugei. It feels like it’s trying to throw you off, literally. I can’t recommend a trip to Japan enough, not only for Hakugei, but Fuji Q and especially the Tokyo Disney resort which is also absolutely insane. So yeah, Hakugei is phenomenal, it’s also one of the most beautiful coasters I’ve ever seen with the white structure and the gorgeous blue track. Especially in person, you can’t really get your eyes off this thing. Currently ranks as my number 3 coaster overall out of 586.

my favorite that i have been on is twisted timbers, but im riding steve this summer and couldn’t be more excited!
I've ridden both and prefer twisted timbers, the ejector is stronger

I think Steel Vengeance is #1 of every coaster not named Velocicoaster. I even like that nod that RMC did to the legend of Magnum XL-200 at the end of the ride. I honestly am in love with the first drop and hill-after on Stevie.
My one beef with the ride is the station/music is quite mid.
I definitely wanna check out Wildcat's Revenge at Hersheypark, especially after seeing the American Dad Hershey Park episode on TV tonight.

I .....RESPECT this list!... I honestly do not see how anyone could not rank Steel Vengeance as #1 on their RMC list...it is a Masterpiece! the surprise for me is how much I love Arieforce and Wildcat...your descriptions of both are spot on.
I really have to give Goliath another shot at some point. I rode it during its opening week....waited 4 hours and got off angry at how short it was... I only remember the first drop. I was fortunate to ride Lightning Rod in its original form....was great.

Zadra would definitely be one of my favorite roller coasters ever, maybe even my favorite rmc, but as a tall guy, man those restraints sucked. The only thing I remember vividly from that ride is the hell that the brake run was for me, I got pinned down by the restraints and my right hip SEARED with pain. Still really fun though

It seems I am higher on the topper track RMCs than most other than Goliath. That one just didn't have the airtime or setting that the others do but every RMC is awesome.
Joker is super underrated, even more than Twisted Cyclone
@@edt-ze3ke Joker, Outlaw Run, and Lightning Rod are the most underrated RMCs in my opinion. I think I just value setting more than most people so that boosts Outlaw and LRod for me and then Joker is one of the best RMCs for inversions and has some very strong airtime in the back row.

I haven't ridden any rmc's yet, but I should get on Untamed by 2025, so if their dueling single rail is open by then, I would get 3 rmc credits in 1 go

You definitely had an off ride on Storm Chaser. I ride Steel Vengeance multiple times a year, and the trick track element on Storm Chaser left my legs in pain after 2 rides.
I hope to ride it again this year!
Lightning rod opening year was absolutely fantastic. I’d have it right in the A tier if not A+. Still a slight step below S though. Wish it had an inversion or two though. It definitely did get slowly worst in speed over the years. It eventually got to the point that thunderhead had gotten so good that I preferred thunderhead at times.
My favorite roller coaster from RMC is Lightning Rod at Dollywood, followed by Iron Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa, Wicked Cyclone at Six Flags New England, Goliath at Six Flags Great America, Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom, Twisted Cyclone at Six Flags Over Georgia, and New Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas.
I have plans to ride Iron Rattler and Wonder Woman: Golden Lasso Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Twisted Colossus and Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and hopefully Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point this summer. I wonder how this list will change afterwards.

The only rmc I’ve ridden is Jersey Devil Coaster. Even though you ranked it 23 I still thought it’s the crazy ride I’ve ever been! Hoping to get on Wildcat Revenge in 2025!
By the end of this year I’ll only be missing 2 to maybe 3 (wildfire, Medusa, and maybe stunt pilot) RMC’s but for now Steel Vengeance is unparalleled, though I think Hakugei and Zadra might fix that this year for me
i've been to japan but sadly since I wasn't as into coasters then as I am now, plus Nagashima Spa Land and Fuji Q Highland were pretty far, or very long subways, we only eneded up going to USJ but that was still pretty awesome!
I’ve only rode 2 rmc’s arie force one and iron gwazi. I feel gwazi is only elite If it’s warmed up, but I rode arie force pretty early in the day and every element hit like they were supposed to. Is gwazi the only rmc that does this because a morning ride and night ride feel so drastically different
Cool list. I was working in Japan a few years ago and I actually got a change to ride Hakugei. I would rank it at 6 just below wildcats revenge since it wasn’t as aggressive to me.

So the only RMC I’ve been on was Lightning Rod. Fortunately I got to ride it on a hot August day. Early and late. The lift was working great and the track had been revamped. It was so incredible that I’ve had a fever to ride their others so badly. I definitely plan on a visit to Cedar Point and Fun Spot.
Kings island needs an RMC so bad. Lol. I’m 30 minutes from there and with passes can ride often.

I've ridden four RMC's and I would rank them as follows:
1. Zadra
2. Lightning Rod (ridden in 2022 with I box replacement but with nurtured launch)
3. Untamed
4. Twisted Cyclone
Next ones will probably be the new raptors at my home park Walibi Holland though Japan and another US trip are also hopefully happening in the next couple of years.

Twisted timbers is the only rmc I've been on so far but the airtime on those 3 hills is awesome
I rode Steel Vengeance for the first time in 2023, and it definitely felt like rmc turned down the aggression a notch compared to Twisted Colossus or Twisted Timbers. Most of the airtime felt like strong floater/weak ejector, as opposed to the rip-your-spine out ejector on Twisted Timbers or Twister Colossus. I do think its my favorite rmc out of the three I've ridden, but its not that far ahead of the other two.
Yeah if they stop using that breakrun so much it would be way better. Also did it the first time in 2023. It was on par for me with untamed wich since its not as big is the winner.
I've only ridden Untamed and Zadra, and I guess I agree with the order you placed those two in. Based on my own preferences, I expect Iron Gwazi might end up on top if I were to ride them all. Or I might stick with Zadra.
Outlaw run is always way underrated on these list IMHO
So happy to see the steel vengeance love after Gwazi.
The only one I've done was Untamed and my god was it insane. It's currently my number two coaster, right behind Ride To Happiness
So far, I've only ridden 3 RMCs: Storm Chaser, Twisted Cyclone and Lightning Rod. All 3 were great. I'm going to SF Great Adventure and Hersheypark in June, so I'll get to ride Wildcat's Revenge and Jersey Devil. I might go back to Cedar Point next year to ride Steel Vengeance.
Fully agree with storm chaser, as that’s my home RMC it does not run as well as I’ve heard. And also love Arie over Gwazi too something about Arie force one just make sense haha

Ove ridden 4 and this is how i rank them:
1) Zadra ( my overall no.1)
2) Iron Gwazi ( similar to Zadra, but with death roll instead of stall and looonger wave turn, but i feel like it dies when the stall begins)
3) Wildfire ( the first sequence of elements is mental)
4) Untamed ( best inversions combo)
Only one I've done is Twisted Colossus, so that's obvs my fave 🤣 that "first drop" was something else at the time, and the fact you get to experience it twice is great. The top gun inversion is pretty sweet too - gutted we didn't get to race though
But yeah I've seen zombies with more life in them compared to the SFMM employees 😬

I think my friend is now 1 RMC ahead of me since she got on Twisted Colossus recently and Wonder Woman was closed so I was hoping she’d get a raptor credit too. Me personally would put Twisted Timbers above Wildcat just because of its powerful ejector air time. I was straight facing on those bunny hills with my arms in the air at the end and laughing hysterically throughout my 2 rides on it. Wildcat however has the better inversions I believe.
Only done four. But this is how id place them
1. Iron Gwazi
2. Steel Vengeance
3. RailBlazer
4. Twisted Colossus
Yeah I don’t get why people hate on the raptors, I would take railblazer over twisted colossus
I have wicked cyclone over wildcats revenge, this is because i feel like Wildcats revenge has some elements that could be better and the laterals are uncomfortable , and wicked cyclone is just never ending and i love it
i’ve ridden hakugei and a lot of other rmc’s, and i rank it at #3 behind gwazi at 2 and zadra at 1, and ahead of steel vengeance at 4 and wildcat at 5

We have the same top 7 RMCs, just in a different order. I prefer the sheer speed and power of Zadra and Iron Gwazi to the length of SteVe, but I still love SteVe. But my list goes
1. Zadra
2. Iron Gwazi
3. Steel Vengeance
4. ArieForce One
5. Wildcat’s Revenge
6. Untamed
7. Twisted Timbers
I’m also just about to go back to Fun Spot Atlanta, I’m super excited to get back on AF1.
Wicked cyclone is my fav and only one I’ve been on I’ve been on it more than 20 times at bare minimum
I think steve could be perfect if the restraints were a bit more forgiving. The ejector just too stronk
I've only ridden AF1 (1x), Hakugei (5x), Twisted Colossus (3x), and Twisted Cyclone (2x) as far as I-Box coasters go. I've only had a single ride on AF1 so maybe it would become more loved after some re-rides.
I'd rank them in this order:
1. Hakugei
2. AF1
3. Twisted Colossus
4. Twisted Cyclone
I’ve only ridden 3 out of these 25

#1 wicked cyclone 🌀 and #3 which was my first RMC would be the new Texas giant 🥰
The White Rollercoaster at Lagoon needs the RMC treatment. It would be easy with their fabrication shop being so close to lagoon.

1 Steel Vengeance (insert buzz lightyear meme here)

3 Arieforce One (best layout of any coaster imo I rank it below the last 2 because the step up into the brakes left me with bruises if that didn't happen this would easily be my favorite coaster)

6 Outlaw Run (I think people underrate both of these topper tracks now ngl)

I just don't get how people can prefer any other manufacturer to RMC 12 of their coasters make my top 25........
For me outlaw run I have enjoyed more and more over the years because the roughness has gotten a little more noticeable and it drives the intensity of it big time which makes it feel so out of control.
Great list! Personally, I’d have wonder woman(magic mountain) and Joker a bit higher, but completely respect your opinions.
Steel Vengeance has been my #1 coaster for 5 years now
I 100% agree with arieforce one being number 2 that ride is insane but I personally dont get the hype around Steel Vengeance, i rode it in the dead if summer and it was nowhere close to IG. I would say it was running slow but even when riding IG in 50ish degree weather it still hits. I Even rode Arieforce in 40 degree weather and it was basically my number 2 but idk maybe I just had terrible rides on Steve
same here, it just felt kinda forceless
I was really underwhelmed by iron gwazi and idk why? It really didn’t have the ejector airtime moments that steel vengeance has other then wave turn and last airtime hill and sometimes it just doesn’t hit

Sad to see JDC is in last place. I love that ride to death and it’s my personal favorite coaster. I spend most of my days at Great Adventure marathoning it. The restraints are super comfortable and I feel tons of airtime in every seat. It’s the most fun coaster to ride, in my opinion. Sitting at 718 lifetime rides on it so far
I personally find it unfair for myself to compare it to the hybrids so I separate them when “ranking” RMCs, since the experiences are so different. Technically I have Steel Vengeance, Wildcat’s Revenge, and Twisted Timbers higher than JDC in my rankings, JDC holds a special place in my heart and is why I separate favorites and rankings

Lightning rod was possibly rmc’s most unique coaster, tell where would you see a launched rmc anywhere else in the world

It’s really unfortunate that Joker gets dumped on a lot by enthusiasts saying it’s the worst RMC. It’s a really good RMC but I could say that it is even more underrated than Twisted Cyclone
I've never seen anyone hate on it except Taylor
I would rank the RMCs I’ve been on but it’s like trying to divide by zero. Can’t list something I’ve never done. Though I can think of plenty of parks in the UK who could do with one, being either a conversion or Raptor.

I was there in 2021 and saw lightning rod but it was closed and that was the only ride i never rode there
@VWdabug everyone hates lightning rod now for some reason so outlaw run will probably be better

First of all another great list wasn't a suprise what your number 1 would be.
Steel vengeance was probable my biggest dissapoinmant in my coaster life, not because its a bad coaster but that i was convinced it would be my new nr 1. Its still my number 3 RMC i have ever ridden (so it still is an encredable good one but that midrun brake on it just ruins the potentiale of it. ) i think after i done iron gwazi and wildcat it will drop another 2 places. Not sure about arie force but i guess i will find out this year.
So far Zahdra is still me favorite and i even liked Untamed better (wich probable is a very unpopulair opnion).
As for me 2 "worst" RMC Twisted callosus is my least favorite (but then i never got a dueling one. If i ever get one it probable moves up a lot) and stunt pilot its just to tame for me nothing wrong with your assesment of it. Ofcourse i haven't done a lot of them about half so things might change a lot.
