Congratulations
Wow brother congrats! I remember when I subbed, you had less than like 500 I think. I def remember your 1k Q&A lol.
@@jaybird455You sure have, thanks for sticking with me.
@@ThemeParkAvenue absolutely! I’ve always enjoyed your channel. I don’t always agree with you, but coasters are so subjective. Anyways, I’ve always thought you have a broad understanding of the coaster industry and I love your channel!
Can I like tip or contribute somehow to your channel? Like 20 bucks or something?
Are u spoiled pe
I honestly don’t understand a lot of the complaints about six flags over Georgia. I’m a local, so I’m a little bit biased, but I think the park is beautiful with all the trees and terrain and has a great atmosphere. The ride lineup is very deep, and every roller coaster is worth riding at least once. I even prefer the ride lineup to something like Carowinds, because even though it doesn’t have that world class attraction like Fury, the quality is more spread out and overall better. On top of that, I am used to the layout of the park and think it’s very creative. Lastly, I’m really disappointed when a lot of my favorite TH-camrs seem to have a bad experience with the operations, because whenever I go, as in EVERY time I go, I have never had a problem with them. I definitely think SFOG is well worth a spot in the top ten
Exactly, I went recently and there were no closures except for acrophobia, and the ops were actually decent. I didn’t wait for more than 5 minutes for any coaster. Overall, SFOG is a park that receives way too much hate.
I’ve been twice, it’s a good park, but the operations are terrible and there’s almost nothing for good/special food. The ride line up is really good and carries the park entirely.
not many problems it’s just mid
The ride lineup is not my issue.
Every time I have gone, the employees not only seem to hate their jobs, but they seem to deliberately make sure the guests know they hate their jobs.
Of course there are exceptions. But generally the employee-attitude is absolutely abominable.
@@robinstamper2446 I definitely see that complaint but it has never negatively impacted my experience really at all
I'm happy to hear that Great America is still your favorite Six Flags park!
As a non coaster enthusiast, my hope for the park it to get the theming back, as that's what's been missing for so long here.
That’s amazing my home park is the best six flags park!
I Miss Great America So Bad. Im Moving Back To Chicago Soon And I Cant Wait To Go Back
It’s nice to see a ranking video where my home park (Michigan’s Adventure) isn’t last.
Also my home park, me personally I enjoy every time I go there
That flagship attraction is simply too good.
I didn't hate Michigan's Adventure like I thought I would. Not only is shivering timbers really good, but Thunderhawk wasn't even really rough. If they ever finish putting the new track on Wolverine Wildcat, it's gonna be a decent park.
Next trip to Cedar Point, I want to take an extra day or two and travel further North just to try Shivering Timbers.
YEAH! Look at my home park getting #1! I love Kings Island! Keep up the great work!
Think Cedar Point is better but Kings Island is so much more relaxed and easy to go to and the lineup is one of the best in the country
It’s insane having cedar point and kings as my home parks. I live right in the middle of both.
Go Kings Island🗼🎢🎡🎠!!!
I am so proud of my home park (of 40+ years)!!
So many good memories throughout the years, great operations, excellent rides, good food, love the atmosphere! 😍🎉
It seems like an ideal home park.
great vid, congrats on 12k, this channel is so underrated!
Great video! It makes me happy seeing Kings Island at number one! I enjoyed watching!
I’m lucky enough to have Kings Island as my home park. It’s something to be proud of that my community loves the park, and the workers there make it welcoming to all that visit. It makes me happy coaster enthusiasts love the park. The future looks bright ahead, so many coaster options with the land they have. Hopefully, we get that standout coaster for the stacked lineup.
I Just Recently Went To Kings Island For The First Time Last Week. I Had Certain Expectations Due To Great America Being My Home Park But I Live In Ohio Now. I Gotta Say It Blew My Mind And Felt Similar To Great America And I Loved It. Im Moving Back To Chicago Soon And Cant Wait To Go Back To Great America, Its Been Years
Sidenote, The Diamondback Made Me Cry 😂 I Think Im Obsessed With That Coaster Now
Shivering Timbers is def one of the best roller coasters I've ever been on.
Ranking all the ones I’ve been to
1. Cedar Point
2. Kings Dominion (interchangeable)
2. Kings Island (interchangeable)
4. Six Flags Great America (extremely unimpressive)
the reason why sfgam was unimpressive to you was because you literally went to the top 3 best cedar fair parks
@@MrPizza_0919 it really wasn’t that. Maybe it was just the Six Flags shock but the management was so awful. I can elaborate if you really want.
@@RealWildWalter well yes six flags has worse management than cedar point, sfgam is one of the best six flags parks
Happy that my home park (Great America Illinois) made it to top 3. Grew up going there.
Demon Drop at Dorian- didn’t that get dumped by Cedar Point?
Yes, it was relocated from Cedar Point to Dorney Park.
I grew up within four hours of six flags great America, kings island and cedar point. Amusement parks are one of the only things that make the midwest fun
just went to six flags great america and it’s probably the best park i’ve been too (over sdc, mm, and bgt) but i’m going to cedar point soon and hopefully that beats it
Great escape is getting more and more love, a lot has been renovated since you’ve been there (which I was there on that school trip) the park is usually not to crowded (that’s why it was so crowded) I bet in the next few years, the park will be way nicer than then
That’s very exciting.
Demon Drop at Dorney Park used to exist at Magic Mountain and it was called Freefall. It was exactly the same.
Now it’s ranking all six flags parks
Though I respect the placement of MA as you specifically said it's meant to only be the dry portions of the park, but as a regular to MA, I've found that if you view the park as both the dry park and the Waterpark (especially since it's included in admission), it actually can fill up your day pretty well and doesn't get boring after going 4 or 5 times throughout the summer. The park itself though is definitely lacking and needs some love. Unfortunately it'll never receive it as it's one of the best Cash cows Cedar Fair has rn.
As a current rides employee for Kings Island one of the things that makes it so fun is they let you move around to different rides so you can get different experiences meet new people and it helps prevent the job from becoming boring making the employees happier. Also with efficiency we are given audits and crews get very competitive/ enthusiastic about hitting interval (the point at witch you can send the next train) and it helps all the lines move faster and I have seen what would normally be an hour wait at most parks only take about 45 minutes
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is my home park and I’m glad you enjoyed it.
My home park too!
@@samvoss6697 Nice do you live in Vallejo or by Vallejo
4:45 You gotta ride Wolvering Wildcat again. The 1st half is extremely smooth now with the new titan track. Hopefully they redo the rest this off season.
Weird that you never mentioned Iron Menace when you talked about Dorney. Overall, a great video!
Thanks! I haven’t been on Iron Menace yet so I couldn’t speak on it, but it seems like a solid addition to the park’s coaster lineup.
magic mountain at 5 is outrageous
Agreed lol. Sure aesthetically and operations wise not the best, but who cares! It's all about the coaster lineup imo and MM is top 2 in the world
I don’t know if i agree Magic Mountain is fun sure but 1 the park doesn’t have a true world class coaster in my opinion
2 the park entrance is a long walk and 3 like is said opperations and aesthetically its not the best for an example the reason why i prefer Cedar Point is because it has true world class coasters and its more assessable to get in witch helps its superiority rather than Magic Mountains one entrance compared to Cedar points 3 front gate Magnum/Breakers entrance and the Valravn entrance but thats just my opinion and its from my experience.
Now i don’t even think CP is perfect its got its own issues but ive always found it better than MM. its also why i dont think MM is my favorite in California and i think Disneyland is far superior its not even a debate.
SFMM is my home park and I think it’s the most overrated park ever.
@@IMWBMEGJCC that may not be a bad take because some people are treating like its the best amusement park in California cough Airtime thrills ( i like his videos no shade) and the best Six Flags park and its not people also make it out like it has the best coaster in the world and in my opinion i don’t think it has a truly elite coaster i mean its a fun park and i enjoyed going there but its not one of the best parks in the world let’s be real y’all..
Maybe not the most overrated park ever but its becoming overrated
As a LA local my home park being magic mountain honestly understand the cleanliness that time you visited was one of the worst year ever and I’ve been going since the early 90s now it’s sooo much better bathroom especially still needs sum more improvements especially when it’s packed but they get out and clean it way quicker and often the only thing is operations but not as bad as even last year it’s been the guest more often now that hold up operations
I live in a suburb of Vancouver. I've never been to Texas or Virginia, so I can't count the parks there. 8: Knott's; 7: Canada Wonderland; 6: Six Flags Magic Mountain; 5: Six Flags Great America; 4: Carowinds; 3: Six Flags Great Adventure; 2: Cedar Point; 1: Kings Island. Thanks for posting!
You gotta go to fiesta Texas it’s one of the best six flags parks with probably the best theming out of all of them along with a great coaster lineup
SFOG’s ops have improved a lot during my visit to the park this season. So they are not bad as it was 3 years ago or last year for example
I’m sorry but everyone I see (except Mexico) it’s just so funny.
It's awesome how you make such long list videos like this. El Toro now has free lockers for everyone, and other coasters might get them too. I think some have them for flash pass users currently, but not for everyone, but I'm not sure if they're actually usable for flash pass users yet anyway.
My favorite theme park is knotts and it's been my fav since I was little
amazing video man!! keep up the good work!
Bro screaming eagle on a hot day is an absolute banger! I’m sad you missed out on that.
I'm mildly shocked that you ranked my regional park in the chain, Six Flags New England, that high, just below Kings Dominion. In part because I remember when it was regarded as one of the weakest Six Flags parks. But it's true that its top two are superb, my personal favorite coasters in the world and one of the best one-two punches in the business. Batman: The Dark Knight and the smallish classic woodie Thunderbolt are solid supporting rides. It's also got a surprisingly good waterpark which is included in some general admission packages. I think it needs a lot of cosmetic work, though, especially once you get past the front area that still has traces of the old Riverside. There's not enough shade and a lot of essentially unthemed rides plunked down on asphalt, as Six Flags so often does. It could use a launch coaster, and the family offerings feel like filler and could use some love. Operations can also often be slow and food is just mediocre, overpriced amusement-park stuff. For ambiance, the smaller parks in New England all have it beat by a mile.
Michigan adventures has a dope water park
Kings Island is my home park. I will admit that Cedar Point has always had the best overall ride collection, but kings island has always had them beat on operations and being able to deliver the best overall experience. Any given day, every ride is uslly operating at full capacity, and they all open at the beginning of the day.
I want to give a shout out to Michigan's Adventure. I visited there last year, and it was pretty enjoyable. It reminded me of Cincinnati's old Coney Island but with a fresh Cedar Fair vibe.
As a kid the screaming eagle in st louis was very fun. You feel like you’re jumping out of your seat on like 7 different hills. Yeah it’s a basic ride but that’s what’s classic about it. It’s also super old
Sounds like your 1 bad visit really tainted Fiesta Texas.
Honestly I have it #2 behind Kings Island.
Although im one of those people who really dont quite like Cedar Point, Great Adventure or Magic Mountain.
Give me a nice forested or scenic park over concrete jungles anyday.
Also my biggest surprise at Over Texas was something you didnt speak of...Pirates of Speelunker Cave is one of the most bizarre dark rides ive been on and it was refurbed in 2023 apparently.
SFNE is my home park
and honestly I would not have it top 15🤷♂️
SFFT is really a gem. It’s a well rounded park with beautiful atmosphere. I have it at #1, but I haven’t been to the Ohio parks yet.
@@aidsetab806kings island and cedar point are beast parkssss
great escapey home park love the bobcat and comet
For a second, I thought you would forget Shivering Timbers
It’s a good video but the huge complaint is you hating on michigans adventure. Thunder hawk is really great for an SLC it’s really smooth and you cannot even call w wildcat rough because after it got titan track and a bunch of gravity group track it is smooth and forceful.
The thing about Cedar Point though it’s my home park is that it’s so busy that the operations takes so long and there’s usually like exiting a sporting event such as in NFL game like the Super Bowl how pack that is leaving it’s just hard to get so many people on the rides
It’s my favorite cedar fair park and I agree it’s just always to crowded and it’s always busy but it has a wonderful skyline and AMAZING roller coaster lime up but king’s island is also just as good because it’s usually not as bad as cedar point and the atmosphere is just a bit better and it’s more relaxing while cedar point you are more stressed with more crowds
I have a soft spot for KI as it’s my home park, I just started going there again after an almost 7 year hiatus. Took my son trying to break him in early I love rollercoasters I’m hoping when he’s older I’ll have a riding buddy
I love Kings Island. Been going there since its inception in ‘72. Took my kids there and now I’m looking forward to taking my grandkids there. I truly keeps getting better every year.
My home park is sf ft and im sorry that you had a bad experience but i 100% agree dr d's queue is amazing!!! The coaster line up is so amazing 🤩
Me clicking this video excited to see where my home park/where I used to work, Great Escape, will rank… can’t say I disagree with you though lmao
Six Flags STL is way underrated in this list
Couldn't believe he had World's of Fun, and Valleyfair above it.
@@jericholicss yes
I know many call it underrated, I unfortunately didn’t quite have the best experience.
Living in between a lot of these and others in Southern Indiana, STL is 7/7 we think to go to within 6 hrs.
I can agree Kings Island is one of the parks in the world. You have so much theming, and the operations were great. I rode 7 coasters on my 1st day along with flat rides. I did it 4 times, absolutely a steal, and enjoyed my time there. I'm going back in 2025! Look out Kings Island.
I've been saying this about cedar point for 3 years now. You have to visit on specific uncrowded days to have a nice experience. Kings island never has a wait with fast lane. Who wants to pay 180 bucks for a fast lane and still wait an hour per coaster at cedar point. I'm glad kings island is less known. I hope it doesn't get as popular as cedar point.
They have free double sided lockers on el toro now and I think they're working on it for the others
That’s excellent.
I also wanted to ask your opinion on this: I just got back from Carowinds and I currently have 98 credits. What would you do if you were me for my 100th?
I wanted it to be Top Thrill 2, but that’s not looking good lol.
I live in Louisville so I could go to KY Kingdom and ride either Storm Chaser or Lightning Run for my 100th credit or drive to Holiday World and ride The Voyage.
Yes I live in Louisville and have never ridden Storm Chaser or Lightning Run and I have all the credits at Holiday World with exception to the new family coaster and the Voyage. It was down when I went a few years ago.
What would you do? Or if you have another suggestion, let me know!
The Voyage sounds like an incredible coaster to have as a milestone credit.
I'm happy my home park Michigan adventure did not get last for once😊 but I am worried now since the merger is complete that they might not exist too much longer😢
shoutouts to my homepark getting #3 😎 been to it 2 times this summer with more trips to come
I hope they keep the Cedar Fair Parks and the Six Flags parks as their own thing with the recent merger. It would be lame if they all just blended together, they each of their own unique attributes. Kings Island is my local park, thrilled to see it at #1 and I have to agree. The operations are as smooth as can be. The variety of rides is excellent. Amazing section for kids with Snoopy Land or w/e it's called. Pretty good food options. Easy to navigate. I cant decide of Mystic Timbers is over or under rated lol. It's rather simple but probably my favorite ride in the park and usually always has a long cue line.
Six flags great america is my hometown park and I have worked as a scare actor there for two years now. It’s honestly so pretty and we pride ourselves on its cleanliness
You and the team do a great job.
I definitely think you need to get back to dorney you might change your mind on a few things you said steel force is running so much better
I'll take number 6 for my home park of Carowinds! ❤ I will admit, I hate the Cyclone though. 😆 KI has a great lineup, but it is a little intimidating that armed guards are at the park and you have to worry about people stealing your beach towel at the waterpark.
So happy KD is getting a wing coaster
im surprised to hear about over georgia being so low, ive been twice over the past two years and it hasnt been noticeably bad by any means, including the ops.
As someone who fiesta texas is my home park, Wonder Woman is getting a major overhaul with new trains and new breaks. I also used to work there and bugs would be down every so often due to staffing as that ride requires a ton of operators. And cliffhanger is usually open.
All great information, thank you.
@@ThemeParkAvenue it would be interesting to see if it’s spot would change if you went when everything is open
@@Skylite0228 I’ll let you know when I do.
I went to sfdk just recently and in 80 degree f weather both water rides were closed
Great list!
Thank you!
I’ve never really gotten the appeal of Kings island. I’ve gone there on two separate trips. The first time I was like meh. I watched many videos of people raving about the park and I thought to myself, “hmm, maybe it was a fluke.” I went again recently and felt similarly, in fact, if anything, worse.
Your mistaken Kings Island is amazing. In My Home park is Busch Gardens, Tampa.
@@nito209 ooh. I had a blast in Busch gardens Tampa! Iron gwazi was a beast!
I have so many cool pics of wonderland it’s taking up my storage
That's the first time i've seen Canada's wonderland ranked so low, usually it's top 3 in NA 😳
A lot of people would actually put it lower than me. I still think it’s great.
And Cedar Fair is dumping over $30 million in the new Premier coaster for 2025
Chicagoans loooove Great America ❤ how fun to see it ranked so high
I stopped watching this video to see your video on Fiesta Texas. I saw one commenter on it who did work at Fiesta Texas when it first open and I just want to point my own experiences on someone who has been visiting the park off and on since it opened up when it comes to the rollercoasters. I 100% agree that the Iron Rattler is the best regular coaster in the Park. Did you know it's the OG coaster too? Also the dip, it used to be steeper, but they raised it up because I think someone got hurt on the ride. I personally think Fiesta Texas used to be a lot better back in the day, but with the current CEO (who a lot of people dislike for good reason), the focus is more on the younger crowds. I am a roller coaster enthusiast, but I am mad with how Fiesta Texas handles their shows now because there's not as many, plus they're in the Afternoon and Evenings. They used to have them when the Park opened. The fact that Dr. Diabolical's ride replaced the place where they had different Country music shows shows you where they prioritize things. Regardless, I still love this park, but even I'll admit I don't know how much longer I'll be going to it because of the changes and the fact that I am not as young as I used to be. I am happy to see it this high up.
Kings Dominion was the very first theme park I remember going to since at the time my family lived in Maryland (my dad's an Air Force vet). While I don't remember any rides from it, I remember all of the Hanna Barbera chars there at the time (this was the 1980s) and they used to have something called "Smurf Ice Cream" because it was blue. There's pictures of me eating it with blue ice cream all over my mouth hehe. I did hear they have no much blue ice cream anymore sadly. It's not far from where my brother lives currently (he lives in Virginia now, he's Air Force too), so I hope to return one day. Last summer I got to visit my brother there, but since they have Season Passes to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, I went there instead (I like that park more that Fiesta Texas if I am being honest, I think it catered to a wider range of ages).
15:32 Dorney just got iron menace so they have a new best coaster, iron menace has really good pacing.
He said that he hasn’t gone on it yet that’s why he didn’t speak on it
If you visited six flags america this year and seen the amount of rides closed/removed and each coaster running 1 train all year, you would probably drop it to #23.
Demon Drop at Dorny Park used to be at Cedar Point.
My home park (six flags St. Louis) is super boring. The theming is.. alr but it’s not necessarily a great at park.
1 view in 6 seconds?! Bro fell on
Fell on? Did you mean fell off 🤓
Congratulations to theme park avenue
Six flags great america is my home town park and i gotta say is they should remove buccaneers bay and put a single rail coaster or sum like wonder women
Disagree
At the end of the day I do prefer Cedar Point overall all of the parks. Kings Island is very close behind, the operations are phenomenal and the staff is friendly and the park is very charming.
See, as a SF Bay Area native, I'm extremely saddened by the announcement of California's Great America, but I can understand why some people say it's run its course. My best memories of the park were my 8th grade graduation trip to there and a night trip my father and I had. I was deathly afraid of roller coasters due to a certain horror film (*COUGH*FINALDESTINATION3*COUGH) but it was the first time I had gone on a coaster that had a loop on the track. My dad helped me conquer my fear by riding The Demon and Flight Deck and to this day, I love those coasters and would absolutely go back whenever its last day of operation arrives. ❤
La Ronde over Valleyfair is wild
Worlds of Fun is My Home Park i’ve always had good service
That’s awesome, maybe I got unlucky on my two days.
Kings island is my home park and it definitely deserves it's ranking. And you didn't even mention the award winning kids area
There’s a lot of great stuff, it’s tough to mention it all in a brief synopsis.
I can’t understand why b&m never went with the helix turnaround again that they used on Goliath at SF Georgia, people rave about the intensity of it on a ride model that very rarely features positive g’s, I also really don’t mind paid lockers, I had the best possible experience at great adventure I think anyone Could have for
Real, having to buy a locker was really an afterthought and a necessary evil with amusement parks
To me SFoT and Caro should be below KD, SFoG prob. higher, otherwise good list.
Was very impressed with KI, while CP is more high tech/firsts, KI's B&Ms and Mystic had me feeling like I can fly. Beast and Bat were also amazing. Adventure Express isn't rough, that's great laterals!
Naah men, cedar point is the 1st. Great America over fiesta, great adventure and magic mountain😬??
They haven’t removed acrophobia it’s just down for the year (and what do you hate so much about it I love it 😅)
I thought it had been SBNO long enough that I guess I assumed it was gone by now. Thanks for the information. I found it extremely uncomfortable.
@@ThemeParkAvenue true you are in the standing position so it can be a little worse for men but it’s not so bad for me since I can put both feet on the ground

If you’ve gone to Cedar Point recently and feel that way, I think you just had a very lucky experience.
This is coming from someone whose been going to KI for 25+ years and would call it my “home park” lol yes Cedar Point was by far better
47:25 30-second dispatches? Huh?!!
Ngl kings island is the dad of parks with the mom being ceader point
I love kings island and cedar point makes me sad that cedar point wasn’t number 1 but I totally agree kings island has a better atmosphere and better kids area and more but I do agree cedar point point has a better skyline, better roller coaster line up I do agree that cedar point is too popular and the lines are always to long and the rides are down a lot but still love cedar point!
Kings Dominion + Knott’s Berry Farm > wonderland. Wonderlands crowds are insane. The 3 great roller coasters are weighed down massively by junk causing insanely large lines for leviathan , behemoth, and Yukon striker
For me it’s right on the edge. Could even possibly go below Six Flags over Georgia
Will you ever consider going to Mexico?
Acrophobia is still there. Just closed all the time.
woo hoo my home park consistently ranked worst six flags!!! Go Six Flags Great Escape!!! Woooooo
mine too I live 25 minutes away go almost every weekend
now you got to rename this to every six flags park post merge
I’ll leave it like this as a history exhibit.
El Toro now has double sided free lockers
Flash Velocity is now completely built. Waiting for testing and theming
That’s great news.
great ranking only ones iv been to are canadas wonderland darien lake cedar point kings dominion kings island carowinds great escape la ronde and knotts berry farm though iv never been to californias great america or discovery kingdom i think great america looks like the better park but i respect your opinion so i do think discovery kingdom looks better then the marine park canada has marineland that park is so creepy its large and every ride and attraction is far out from each other so is animals and no theming there at all it looks abbanded and it looks more like a forest then amusment park it could us some music to make it feel more welcominng or an expantion by the way i agree about kings island it looks better then cedar point now even though cedar points coasters are better to me iv only been to kings island during paramount era though so i cant really judge i havent road any of the cedar fair era coasters
I saw you at legoland yesterday
Cool! Welcome to the channel.
There are no Carder Fair parks! Lol
Knotted berry farm at #10 & SF Over Texas is at #8. Is crazy.
I do agree SFMM is a top #5. Yeah, the coasters are great but overall the park as a whole sucks. I said what I said.
I’m very happy that fiesta tx placed higher.
40:16 Chang!!!!!!!
Can we talk about the fact that not only does ohio have the second best park but the number 1 park like they literally took only in phio seriously
