- Under 6hrs until dark, 52kms and 1600m of climbing to complete, who will win, the sun or me?!
Completely unintentional race against the sun, but starting late that’s what happens!! This XC style loop was a lovely track with stunning views. I've not ridden this kind of distance for a long time, and on my big enduro rig and a rapidly setting sun it was going to be a good test!!!

Nice ride! One of my favorite areas to ride when I visited NZ. My day there was done with a high fever so limited the ride to only a Rude Rock loop. Next day was spent in a hotel room sick with the flu. Most wobbly day on a mt bike I have ever had in 40 years of riding.
Im after some advice if anyone can help. I want to get back out cycling, for my mental health mainly, and want to get a full suspension ebike. I only have a limited budget. I also live by Dartmoor so have a lot of hills. What's the best value
I currently have a 2011 specialized camber expert that i dont use so would like a similar quality ebike. P.s those are some stunning views ✌️
first trans nz in (I think) 2017, we rode down into arrowtown at the end of a massive day. the corrotown track was completely beyond me (ive ridden it since!) so I ended up walking most of it. This was followed by endless river crossings and I had the most awful sense of humour failure I think ive ever had on the bike. I was raging!

It’s an Osprey running pack! I only ride with running bags now as they fit way better than bike bags for my small frame!
