Hey if you around the PNW Oregon I have a spot that is dope and you could do a super rad video. If I had to guess I would say this is Near Marys Peak Philomath OR.
As both a biker and trail builder, I enjoy watching your vids. I never film my own projects because I'm always too busy working, and it's good to see someone who is so passionate about getting out and creating the stuff that you want to ride. As you were describing the work that will be required to complete the landing, I got the sense that you're like me mid-trail build, where you can't wait to get out building again and your mind is always processing what needs to get done. Awesome to see the stoke, and hopefully you entice others to get out doing work in their own communities. Keep it up.
Exactly the content I’ve been looking for. I’ve been building trails on family land in the Appalachian mountains, and to date it’s been mostly clearing and maintaining existing game trails and old eroded logging roads, but I’m ready to start building in some more features. I need some drops and berms, maybe a jump or two. No machine access, so it’s all got to be hand built. You seem to have your vision pretty dialed in to create an excellent riding experience
Glad it was helpful! I just work with the landscape and dirt I have so my features compliment it. Rather than thinking of something specific you want, look at what the land has to offer. It seems to be the way to go for me 🤟
HOw long until we see his content ripped off and reposted on your channel? Labeled as documentary... Just like all the other videos you’ve got on your channel... Full of stolen content just to get channel views..... #ContentThief
That's super huge! Looking forward to seeing you jump it once the landing is done. Btw, what are your thoughts when starting a dig pit? Are you just randomly trying spots until you find good dirt, or do you have any indicators before you start digging down??
Anywhere with lots of ferns is generally good underneath and spaced well between trees, and if I do it right beside the trail I like the taper the pit and add ferns back in so its not a hazard and still looks good
Where do you build all of your trails? I’m trying to get into trail building myself and just wondered. Is it privately owned or BLM or forest service or what?
When it’s wet the dirt stacks much easier and basically just keep cutting and tossing the pile to the top, and give yourself a good base to build off of
I think riding this for the first time will be even more scary than this day: th-cam.com/video/rfix3PUPG3o/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1d5NqqntGhcBD4oy

Thanks! And Yes, filming definitely makes it so you get less done but it’s fun to document the entire process.
Looks wicked, Mark. Can't wait for you to finish this one.
You and me both!
This drop is HUGE 🥶
Yea haha

This is huge ! And the speed of the run in looks so fast
Yea I’m hoping the steep roller before is a good speed check and I would rather tap brakes than reach for it, the gap will
be long!
This is massive! Amazing build
Thanks! Come ride 🙂🤟

That new insta camera seems to be the weapon of choice for crappy Vancouver Island low light conditions.
Its game changing honestly
Mega drop is looking so sick man🔥🔥 awesome job
How does it work with landowners & permission for trails where you are?
Well Built, can you make a video where u show how to built a small downhill tack with some jumps?😄
What are you specifically needing guidance on?
Is that end riding trail in the Forbidden Plateu network, or outside of the valley?
it's not an official sanctioned trail so no ones going to disclose the location on the internet.
that dirt looks amazing to work with
It is!
Your videos are really sick dude!!!
Appreciate it!!
Where is that trail at the end of the video? Or is it not public?
It’s well known amongst people who trail build in my community but not publicly listed
Where do you build all of your trails? I’m trying to get into trail building myself and just wondered. Is it privately owned or BLM or forest service or what?
Awesome build and video, during the time-lapse, whats the music playing in the background.
Thanks! And I’m not sure I just use royalty free beats haha
what’s the best way when digging to get dirt quickly to stack up big jumps
When it’s wet the dirt stacks much easier and basically just keep cutting and tossing the pile to the top, and give yourself a good base to build off of
