11:00 minutes into this video, while you were looking at the 2k sign, that was me in the Knavesmire t-shirt who came trotting past 😊. It would be another 12 hours before my blind eyes actually spotted you 🤓
I'll be running this next year with two old uni friends. Looking forward to seeing you and Eleanor getting your course record back. "If it doesn't challenge you, then it doesn't change you" 🙂
We've done the maths and we're not convinced it's possible... But I definitely fancy giving it a go! Just need to convince Eleanor 😃 She's a bit obsessed with Backyard Ultras though... Need to convince her this is where it's at! 💪🏻
What a cool experience Nicola. I was never (and probably never will be) interested in doing any sort of Ultra. I think I flirted with it back when I was putting in longer miles but 26.2 was far enough for me. I was surprised too at how many runners were at that race. Question: what was that "thing" on the top of your van? Never seen anything like that before.
It's got a pop-top so it's Poppy's bedroom built into the van roof 😃 It's awesome as we can sneak under all the barriers that high tops and motorhomes can't but we still have the space 🎉🎉🎉
Checked my bucket list and oddly a 24 hour endurance running race just doesn't appear at all.... it's one of those things that I may enjoy but it is definitely not a impulse event. Now is the best strategy fast and long rests or slow and steady ? For these endurance races I always think of a lecture at LUBS about innovation and the Ozzy farmer Cliff Young. Again you girls loving living...
@@NicolaRuns Like Santa, I checked it once then I checked it twice and nada.... I'm still not convinced a marathon would even make the list right now, I've just not got excited by extreme distances. But never say never...!
What a lovely atmosphere! Next year, Do it, do it, do it ;-) Thank you for sharing.
It's definitely a great atmosphere... Who knows what next year holds! 🙃😃
Amazing achievement Nicola - after personal experience of the Red Bull DJ jeep, the fact you could still be heard over it is incredible
This made me laugh loads 🤣🤣🤣 I take it as a massive compliment 😜😃📢🔊🗣️🤣
As always, a joyous and joyful video. I love your content!
Awwww thanks ☺️☺️☺️

🙈🤣 That's so funny isn't it?! 🙃 It's like it's a small world and a big world all at once 😂😂😂
Things I will NOT be doing! Awesome video though Nicola - and volunteering looks like a great way to experience it all.
Geoff 🤣🤣🤣 This comment made me laugh so much 😂

Check the list again... Maybe you missed it 😜🤣 Slow and steady always wins the race 💪🏻 unless there's someone faster of course 😂
