Thanks for this heads up Relentless Zen and thanks for featuring my early v6 footage. I wanted to add my 2 cents about some comments i see.
First the mod authors, ofc nothing would be possible without them, they do an incredible job, they are often more talented than Bethesda devs and this is why every mod authors are credited for each mods on the Nolvus web site and in the Nolvus installer. Though you can't deny the work done by the mod list authors, they do an incredible job too. Believe me, it takes an insane amount of time to gather these mods, make them work together, patch them using creation kit and speaking for myself designing an installer, a web site with full guides, documentations, tutorials and maintain it. We are speaking about thousand of work hours here, so please keep that in mind as well.
Second, the "anime" thing, yes Nolvus has a lot of inspiration from FromSoftware games, why? because i simply like these kind of games and the creation engine allow us to implement some of these game mechanics into Skyrim, that being said it's still Skyrim, you can still be the dragonborn (or not in Nolvus btw), the darkbortherhood is still there as well as the thieves guild, you can still play the civil war and fight dragons. The list doesn't force you to play an anime character (and tbh if you really want to see an "anime" mod list go watch japaneese streamers on twitch, you will really see what an "anime" mod list is and it's very different from nolvus, trust me). You don't like a hairstyle? don't use it, you don't like an armor? don't wear it, you don't like a combat animation? switch to an other combat stance (there are 4 stances and only a third of them are flashy, even less if you don't select the fantasy option). Relentless Zen has featured enough different builds you can use in Nolvus to illustrate that. I mean i respect Skyrim purists who prefer to play 1st person with a long and boring slow combat system (imo) but why their opinion would be more valuable that mine about what Skyrim combat should be? You can't argue with test so please repsect everyone's tastes and opinions.
Third, feedbacks, i like feedbacks, there are always valuable (good or bad ones btw), but guys please be fair and provide arguments so i can always improve things to make Nolvus better. The tons of comments i got like "i did better than you with only 50 mods" and when i'm like "ho really? can you share so i can improve things" there is ofc no answser nor a link to a showcase video, Nolvus is what it is, but it exists.
I want to be clear, i'm not here to say play Nolvus it's great, it's great simply if you think it is, if not just don't play it, nobody forces you to install Nolvus or watch Nolvus videos and there are lot of great mod lists done by talented mod list authors out there.
Thanks a lot to everyone reading this.
Edit : Taste and not test (sorry i'm a french speaker)
Thank you for all the hard work you do! And putting up with me pestering you from time to time 😁
Hey man, don't ever worry about people talking whack, there'll always be the hating pricks for literally everything that exists on the planet. People don't understand the concept of taste or opinion. I tried running Nolvus v5 some time ago, took me really long since I don't have Nexus Premium and sadly I didn't manage to make it work, but I was preparing myself to try that once again and with the news of a "Graphics only" option on the making I'll wait for that!
I'm currently running another mod list that has a ton of survival stuff in it... did I complain like a retard to the author? No. I figured out how to turn off all that I can, since I hate survival aspects in games like Skyrim and that's that. I'm literally running a thing that took AGES for someone else to make, for totally free, and all it took me was a few hours to download everything.
Don't let mean and stupid comments ever get to you man, keep on with the great work you're doing! As I said, I rather have a "vanillaesque" kind of play, that's why I'll wait for the graphics only version so I can just make a few little adjustments to combat as I like, but man, I have to admit that Nolvus does look absolutely STUNNING.
Thanks again for all the immense hard work you and the modders do!
Thanks for your work greetings from spain

Ive been playing nolvus for 2 weeks now, what i love is that i had no idea which mods were being installed so i’m being constantly surprised in a game that ive been playing since release. Love it
Agreed, nothing better than doing some random quest and getting some wild-ass modded reward
Yes! lol it’s like when I looted a fresh kill yesterday and all the sudden gained the mod to add some cool animations and such
Recently installed N5 and I love it. Surprised at its stability and fast loading. Having a blast, highly recommend.
can't wait for v6, installed nolvus yesterday thanks to your nolvus showcase videos, and i'm having a blast. very excited to see a part 3
also been wondering what's the armor that the character is wearing in the video, looks pretty sweet.
looking forward to your MCM config guide! I've been exploring them a lot lately
Glad to hear that there will be a Graphics only version. This will allow me to mod the game to my tastes.
Awesome. I can't wait to play this :3 Awesome video as always my friend! Keep it up
i just started Nolvus the other day it's so Amazing gfx and gameplay. it's crazy people are so good at keeping making content for this game
Keep it up my man's, incredible!
I just looked over the old NOLVUS modlist. One huge thing I'd recommend to the author is updating from Frankly HD to Xavbio's armor re-textures. I loved the Frank family mods, but... doing a direct comparison, Xavbio's win. That's all I can really say.
Now that's out of the way. Damn son. I am beyond excited for this new modlist. It looks amazing. The armor and hair physics alone had me stunned, then I noticed the river's edge parallax, the expert noon lighting, the _fucking cubemaps_ on the doorknobs of the front gate of Whiterun... this modlist goes hard.
So so stoked for this
I hope the graphics only version has all of the bug fixes and tweaks included as well to make it as stable as possible.
Brilliant update thanks! What's the music on this video please? Especially at the end!
Love it! Can't wait...just ordered upgrades so I can get off redux LOL! Really like the style of your videos!
What were the upgrades?
@@mickieg1994 Ram and a larger ssd. I only had 1tb ssd and 16gb ram. Now I have 64gb ram and 4tb ssd woot
Been enjoying Nolvus for a little over a week now. As a day one Skyrim player its been a great shake up of my normal modlists and playthroughs.
First thing I'm gonna say is that ur videos are great! Just wanted to ask if Nolvus is only avaliable with Skyrim Anniversary Edition.
Currently running the latest Nolvus and loving it. Skyrim didn't grab me when i tried it many years ago...now it has, thanks to Nolvus. In the video you said you were going to share some of your Nolvus add-ons. Would love a list. I've been adding a few things here and there but would love your input. Great video.
Which ENB are you using here, if you don't mind me asking? I noticed on the Nolvus-website they have a few options. Is it used in conjunction with a reshade?
I use Cabbage ENB and Pi-Cho I believe is used in Vektors footage although I could be wrong. Yes reshade is used as well as ENB
Great video - fantastic editing and music. Would you please share the name of artist of the track playing at the beginning of the video? You have great taste in music!
Just recently download N5 with my 5 year old 2080TI desktop; not a toaster but way too wimpy for V6. Hopefully Vektor will give us a heads up on required system specs for V6 soon!
So a 2080S with a Ryzen 5 hexacore CPU I'm looking at the Redux version rather than Ultra?
Simply gorgeous!
Nolvus is awesome, it's like a whole new game, it's amazing already, can't wait for this new version to try it out.
Please keep making Nolvus content! It's 10/10
are the other options with lower resolution? like from 4k to 2k for textures
i would like to know which option has that... but is the redux version?
Do I have to have a fresh game to install V6? Or can I upgrade my existing save
I just started playing this and man, what a ride.
Is there any predictions for the realse date of the next version? I really can't stop thinking about it!
love your Nolvus videos! its such an amazing mod collection and V6 looks amazing!
Looks real good, im excited to see what Vektor does with combat this time around , with all the new animation tech available now I'm kinda hyped!
@@RelentlessZen very true! I feel like the stance system does do as much as I would like it to currently. I wish damage changed depending on speed of the stance or something. I normally just use the same stance all the time because there's usually one that's just better then the rest
@@tripalink there's actually a mod for stances called Stances Add-on that has a MCM where you can add stuff like more damage , speed and stagger resist for the different stances. its good I used it for a while.
@@RelentlessZen oh nice! I'll check it out
2nd time watching, but seriously… Nolvus is just the best modpack imo if you want to just hop on and have a proper Skyrim play through. Definitely going to stream v6 when it comes out.
Man I can’t wait for the graphics only version
Yeah I know a lot of people want it! Glad it will be an option. I personally enjoy 90% of Nolvus and just remove what I don't want as oppose to adding a brunt of what will probably already be included.
I gotta geek gush a bit on this. Nolvus V5 is absolutely the perfect mod pack for me. It has ALL my must haves, and it's freaking gorgeous!
I'm really looking forward to V6.
A full on in depth tutorial on how to install this would be great if you ever get bored. I know alot of people who are still brand new to modding that would need the visual help. Great videos as always!
It's an auto installer. You just download the dashboard login and press install.
@RelentlessZen ok so i need no other programs/mods? And thanks for the response
@@oGPoLa www.nolvus.net
@RelentlessZen thanks ill go and read up on the website i appreciate your help and i cant wait to see your new video on the mod!
Va a salir una version solamente con mpds graficos es verdad eso?
When you say graphic only does that mean worldspace only or does it include NPCs items gear e.t
Was playing on dows 7 (Oldrim) SLI with 2 2080's. Should that still work on win 10 with this?
Would the “graphics only” preset be only on the environment or would it also affect the player, NPCs, and weapons/armor?
We'll have to wait and see, Vektor hasn't commented on if that included anything other than enviroment.
Hello, hope you are doing well. This looks amazing! I have yet to use this as a GOG Skyrim player so my question is this; will the Graphics-only version be Skyrim GOG compatible? Thank you in advance! o7
due to the nature of how the installer works, I would advise this will be Steam only.
The problem with Nolvus as it stands is many people like myself went there thinking it was a graphics mod pack, but the sheer amount of mods he's put in leave very little room for adding personal favourites, and frankly a lot of the mods in it are pure junk. Companion mods using vanilla voices and no companion story should be consigned to the past, and with the prevalence of great voice actors and voice cloning/AI voice technology, they have no place in such an amazing mod pack as Nolvus. There's also too many house mods, so having a graphics only version is fantastic news for those who want a little more personalisation. Personally I'd love a version where I can pick and mix what mods I do and don't want, allowing the ultimate tailoring experience, but I understand that's a lot of work, if at all possible.
If watched this video you might be surprised to know a graphic only version is in the works.
@@RelentlessZen He said "so having a graphics only version is fantastic news", I guess he has seen the video.
@@RelentlessZenIf you read my answer correctly you'd know I know that. Don't be a smart arse.
@@saladinbob Absolutely, I whole heartedly apologise. I misread your comment and have been dealing with a ton of arsey comments where people have straight up not listened to the information in the video.
hope you can forgive me :)
I dont know i found a lot of quality and benefit from having combat overhaul and many other features, i cant agree here the full experience is where its at
I only just started playing nolvus about a week ago, when v6 inevitably comes, will the update be automatic or will we be able to opt in/out? Don't love the idea of packing a whole bunch of time into v5 if it inevitably makes me remake my character and mod settings again from scratch
its not going to just overwrite what you have no. But stop worrying about character progression. outside of quests you can make a level 100+ character at the click of a few buttons. This isn't an MMO where progression is crucial to your enjoyment.
V6 will offer a completely fresh experience from V5. if anything it will be an excuse to dive back in with a completely different character and try something new.
you dont need to upgrade just play v5, but you shoudnt delete v5 since i dont know if the launcher from nolvus is allowing you to install old versions
I wish it had more of a survival aspect like cold food and sleep. So far im playing ultimate and love it. Easiest mod ever and i added a ton of followers and modified some specific characters and no issues.
@@adriantc4588 Survival mechanics including, cold , hunger , thirst and exhaustion are all managed by Sunhelm which is in the current version of Nolvus V5
@@RelentlessZen thanks! ill have to look into that.
I am stuck on 2 Mods in the Dashboard. I think you know this ones. 2032/2034 mods. Can anyone give me a clue?
what hair mod is this? is it part of the nolvus modlist? if so what number is it?
No idea the footage is from Vektor the Modlist author not me
Graphics only version will be wonderful, exacly what I needed
I love nolvus v5 and ready to play v6. Only real complaint I have is all the player homes. As I definitely play LOTD and like most players I know if you play LOTD you’re gonna use the safe house. But that’s minor as this pack is fantastic.
I read another comment that said you can disable the player homes and followers without anything breaking, hope that helps 👍
Anyone tried this modpack know if its possible to not place without some of the 'over the top' flip animations dornthe dodge.
What is the hair and armor mod called that you used in the video?
He's using borrowed footage from V6, he won't know what mods are being used.
Anyone know what armor the character is using? looks sick
Can you tell me what the armor pack is ? 2:07
Nolvus v7 or v8 will have mods like beyond skyrim eich will be utterly mindblowing .
A different game
Nolvus v5 already has Beyond Skyrim Bruma.
What I don't see anyone talking about is the insane production value and editing skills of this guy
Your videos look insanely cinematic sheesh!!
From where do you get such incredible copyright free music?😅😭
I'm building a PC just to play v6. I assume an i9 14900K + 4090 + 64GB DDR5 will allow me to play in 4K ultra?
Bruh... I can't imagine a game that rig couldn't run!
I used v5 as a base for a custom modlist ( manual installation, and it is soo stable , like i cant believe it with so many mods, but there are minimal issues and it looks great. I cant wait for v6
Hi, by manual installation does it mean you add mods by yourself into the game folder? I've read some comments that some armour or weapons mods are fine to add into a mod pack.
@@shirononamae7901 Sometimes, but i install and edit the files mainly trough mo2. I used Nolvus manual installation instructions, but i added many other mod as well. You have to read all compatibility notes on the mods you add to make sure they fit, and maybe edit some files. Also the esp+esm limit is 255. But many mods can be converted to esl. Nolvus has a tutorial for doing that.
@@shirononamae7901 This took some time, mind you, Nolvus modlist is perfect, but there are so many mods i cant play without, so it is worth it for me.
@@bellabuilder4160 I've seen all three parts of the Nolvus introduction videos and I can already tell it has most of my usual mods like the religion mods, companions and even armour with physics. But I still haven't go through the mod list to check if there are mods that I really need to manually add into the list. Can you share a few samples of the mods that you have added?
@@shirononamae7901 i cant list all, since i barley remember which where part of the original list, but i added many and removed some in different categorizes, for example many armor-mods from schaken-mods, individual npc overhauls, clutter and flora textures i prefer. Frostfall, last seed +ineed+mealtime instead of sunhelm is one of the big ones. i dont vibe with sunhelm. immersive jewlery is also a must have for me, and its kind of heavy. Northern scenery is must have. mods that add things to water like depths of skyrim and the ones that adds enemies. Was there a particular one you where trying to add?
the quality on your videos are just outstanding. I been playing nolvus for a while now and i keep discovering new things. I just hope nolvus v6 is as easy to install as v5!
It will use the same installer, the modlist will just be a fresh and new experience. I'm sure some features will remain, lots of work still to do though I imagine!
@RelentlessZen tks for this awesome work. Congratulations.
I wish my laptop were a toaster, but it's ten thousand old artifact found in a cave on a place once known as Mesopotamia 😆. One day I'll have something that can run these awesome modpacks.
I gotta say it's rewarding if you just put a little money aside every month when you can and finally get enough to splash out and treat yourself to a PC!
First thing I did when getting mine was mod Skyrim!
Hope you get that feeling one day!
Is this usable with gamepad?
I've been playing Nolvus 5.2 for a month or two and so far I've found it to be the most interesting role playing game in my thirty plus years of computer gaming. It's everything that Skyrim could have been and wasn't. From the graphics, to soundscape, to voice acting, and storytelling Nolvus is a much more mature, and interesting experience.
It takes the Skyrim you know like the back of your hand and renews it to a game vision with greater depth. Although I run it on a 2070 Super graphics card the lower version of the game it's very playable.
I am really interested in where Nolvus V6 will take us, but until that day I am very content with 5.2.
Since it's Graphic only, can we run PlayTogether on it?
They should implement Mantella mod :)
Does anyone know if you need to reinstall the entire thing to get the update or will it just automatically do it
you will need to manually select to install V6 but its no where near ready so don't worry.
I play on the Legion Go handheld. I doubt even the GFX version would run on that.

Truly can't wait for V6; I will install the graphics only version as long as it has city changes and things like that.
I'm going to play V5 tonight, downloading it now. I never got around to playing much of Skyrim and would prefer a vanilla plus experience, but the amount of graphics mods Vektor has patched and working together..... I simply can't turn them down. So I'll play modded Skyrim and view it as its own game.
i have been wanting to know what armor that woman is wearing forever but i just cant find it

Know the enb used in tge video?
Can Nolvus run/install on Linux?
Can anyone tell me what hair mod that is?
Do you think I could run the upcoming graphics only version on these specs? (laptop intel core i9 13900hx ram 32GB and a rtx 4070 8gb)
No idea chief. it's not finished or released so no one can advise on anything.
The target GPU for Nolvus V6 is 3080TI, so yeah, you should be able to run it on ultra.
I don't think 8gb vram will be enough
@@deadgum11 The problem of having only 8GB is solved by using VRAMR tool - it is amazing mod focusing just that and it will give you usually 20-30 FPS on average. Additionaly, you can use DLSS mod and that alone can boost your FPS really well. So, combined together you will be able run ultra details easily.
You'll be fine. The only issue might be VRAM, but as the other commenter suggested, there are options for that. I had mine running perfectly with a 4070 TI super

I loving nolvus v5 and can't wait for v6. Will v6 use OAR over DAR or is the team sticking with DAR? Big up to the nolvus team and all the mod authors in the nolvus modlist
We'll have to see what Vektor adds, I've yet to try out OAR stuff, I'm sure whatever he chooses will feel fluid though!
@@RelentlessZen big ups on replying so fast, I switched to OAR in my modded Nolvus and the only two things that are different is that OAR is less buggy overall and most animators are making only OAR compatible animation packs now. There is a tool on the nexus that switches DAR to OAR, but if it is included from the start it would be GOATED. Whatever the team puts together is going to be fire anyways
@@C00lBeanz95 Yeah I've been so wrapped up reviewing the current Nolvus V5 I haven't leaned into modifying much until part 3 is cooked!
good to know things are compatible with OAR though!
@@RelentlessZenOAR also has plugins that you can add such as the ability to add custom killmoves without replacing the original killmoves which dar currently doesn't have
gonna need that 5090 when it drops :)
Unfortunately for me, I could never get Nolvus V5 to be stable aka not crash frequently (even after following install guides to the "T"). Mabey my computer (4080, 14700k, 32GB Ram) will agree with V6. I got to experience nolvus for a few hours and I was just blown away. As someone who previously has put thousands of hours into Skyrim, it was like playing the game for the first time all over again (just a million times better with nolvus). Bethesda should look at Nolvus as a guide on how TES 6 should feel and play.
Save bloat and bad saving habits perhaps contribute to your crashes. A modlist like Nolvus is very script heavy and doing certain things can break scripts and bloat saves. Soon as I learnt how to avoid things I just don't crash anymore.
@@RelentlessZen Do you have a video on what to avoid doing?
Will you have to restart your play through for v6
Yes, it will be a completely new experience.
Just downloaded nolvus a week ago and can't stop playing. It really well made and enhance the game. Of course it still crash sometimes but eh still good.
Your crashes may be due to bad saving habits. It took me some adjusting to avoiding save bloating and breaking scripts. Since I learnt what causes issues I no longer experience crashes
@@RelentlessZenI have some crashes sometimes but I’m playing as The Lord of the Dead with an army of undead, probably the best game to play as a Lich
@@RelentlessZenwhat do you mean bad saving habits?
@@ebubenwachukwu1731 saving during combat can cause issues, constantly making new saves instead of overwriting, saving too frequently within minutes of each other, creating a new character without closing the game first and rebooting will break scripts.
Auto saves in general can bloat saves.
It's due to the heavy scripts at work with a heavily modded skyrim that is unavoidable.
It's sounds like tinfoil hat conspiracy but it's true. Save bloating and saving when scripts have broken cause a snowball effect of issues and will crash your game frequently. In some cases brick your saves completely.
@@RelentlessZenwait a minute, now making new saves instead of saving over old saves causes crashes?
Is there a way to use Nolvus without the survival mods?
Yeah, they don't actually activate unless you say yes to the prompt in the first place. Like near enough any gameplay feature they're all configurable in the MCMs
Does anybody know if the Nolvus 6 will combine Enb with a Ray Tracing Mod ? OK I know it is a FPS Killer.
of course , ENB and Reshade are commonly used in most modlists. this modlist isn't for toasters. its for Modern Gaming PCs
do you think I can run it in 4K high quality with a 2080ti ??
You can check the requirements for the current V5 at www.nolvus.net
I use a 3090 but a video on how to customize files to squeak out as many frames as possible would be cool
you need a good CPU that won't bottleneck your GPU, 32GB Ram minimum for a smoother experience. If you have though then the Paid Patreon DLSS mod should be all you need on ultra to get above 60 FPS in all areas
@@RelentlessZen Maybe do an install video on that? Also the new Fs3 and DLSS mods for 30s series cards frame gen should be sweat

I’d love to experience the V5, if it worked on my UltraWide 49” without cutting the bottom of the screen out.
did you set the right resolution in the dashboard? my resolution is 5120x1440p ultra ultra wide. I just added Untarnished Ui which better supports ultra wide. was super easy to install.
I didn’t add any extra mods if thats what you’re asking.
I thought 2368 mods would be enough.
But apart from that, I believe I’ve tried every trick in the book, to force the game to run 3840x1080. But I guess the options to run 16:9 or 21:9 makes it hard to get a 32:9… I dunno.. it’s annoying tho.
But I hardly know what the heck I am doing when trying to get the auto installed mods running. 😜

Like HS Breezehome, Ocean Saber, Seadragon Player Home Ship, and some of best CASTLES, which can be bought for 40.000 to 80.000 gold ? And Convinient Horses mod, please !
works in VR ?
Honestly, at this point Bethesda or Microsoft should just buy that stuff, tweak it and hammer it on stores as a new edition.
And the best thing, even if it shows bugs ir crashes because of the "mods", that's part of the vanilla Skyrim experience
Is nolvus stricly AE or is it SKSE as well?
SKSE is a mod (SkyrimScriptExtender), but I'm assuming you mean SE. this is a AE only modlist as it requires its creation club content.
@@RelentlessZen yeah sorry SE but thanks, might have to get AE for this. Looks insane. Although there are a few great next gen type mods coming out for SE. God bless🙏🏻

You should make a DLSS tutorial
pls make guide how to instal
You don't need a guide it's an auto installer www.nolvus.net

depends on if you're CPU bound.
I get a stable 80-120 FPS with Dips down to 60 occasionally on a 3090 with a Ryzen 7 5800x3d and 64G ram at 5120x1440p on Ultra settings with an even more intensive Reshade custom preset.

It’s just rarely worth it to me to upgrade in almost every other instance or game I’m gpu bound.
@@danw7864 from what I can see when googling your CPU is bottlenecking you regardless of game, you're not getting the most out of your GPU without upgrading sadly. I moved away from intel and think il never go back with how good and affordable the Ryzen 7 5800x3d and 7800x3d are

At this point we'll get long play videos for Skyrim with these mods
"Don't expect this to run on a toaster."
Damn! Anyone know of a good toaster mod?
Does anyone know if this will work with skyrim togeather reborn ?

my resolution is 5120x1440p and I just replace the Ui with Untarnished Ui. its really simple to install. Please keep in mind this isn't my modlist. I'm just reviewing it.
@@RelentlessZen I will give it a try thank you
Great that there is a graphics only version in the making, all the gameplay and mechanics overhauls just felt to excessive and ultimately not worth it just for a better visual experience. It didn't feel like Skyrim anymore.
The hairstyle that literally every skyrim youtuber is rocking now lol.. SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE SOME MORE SMP HAIR!!
I love my 3070GPU Its fast and,, OMG... For Nolvus 6 I would upgrade my GPU like I did for modded Skyrim back in the day.. Went from 660ti to 970 to 1070 to 3070 ... Here we go again! haha Great video!
My 3090 is seeing me through for now, the 24g VRam on the 3090s is what gives it the edge still against the 40 series with exception of the 4080 and 90 cards. As tempting as it is il wait now for 50 series cards
Agree. Thanks for the tips.. Wow , who would of thought that in 2024 we are going to upgrade our GPU's AGAIN for Skyrim the third round... @@RelentlessZen
I'll do the same. I have a 3070, I love it but VRAM is a joke. I'll settle with watching your videos and playing Gate To Sovengard in the meantime while I wait for the 50 series :)
