Found your channel a week ago and I really like the mods you showcase because they mostly are not dependent on other mods, like some combat mods and other with heavy scripts. So it is easy to ad these mods to my current modlist. I also like that you get into it quickly, not a very long intro. And I also like that you focus on mods that compliments vanilla skyrim, sometimes next gen graphic mods is a bit much next gen so it feels out of place. And can you tell what mod you have for the steel sword in the intro? 0:13 Is it a reskin of steel weapons or standalone?

I think SkyClimb should've been an item on here, honestly one of the coolest exploration/gameplay mods ever, makes it so you can climb pretty much anywhere throughout skyrim. +its animated.

Those fast travel options should have been included with survival mode. Walking from Whiterun to High Hrothgar repeatedly, or from Winterhold College to anywhere repeatedly is obnoxious. Seriously, the closest carriage to the dark brotherhood sanctuary is Whiterun. I’m 105 hours into a master difficulty survival play through and I haven’t met up with the “friend” (Delphine) at the inn in Riverwood because I know she’ll eventually want me to go back to High Hrothgar. A trip I just don’t feel like doing.
In terms of exploring, I think The People of Skyrim is pretty great. It just makes the world more lively. There's also a modpack on vortex for that so that you wouldn't need to worry about compatibility. But there's also The People of Skyrim 2 which is more compatible with other mods. Both mods aren't fully the same with added locations so it really refreshes the exploration.
@@reynard4823 I feel like he only returned to the vanilla Skyrim, which he described as outdated by todays standards. With mods however, one can turn Skyrim into basically a modern RPG. Not Witcher or RDR2 levels of quality, but pretty up there. And with Startfield around the corner, we'll see how it holds up.
Lol I love Avarti, but that video was bait af. No modder ever said there is no merit to the vanilla game. It's normal to miss it after modding too much.
Boy, does Skyrim need a lore friendly revamp in exploration and questing. There are way too many mods on animation, QoL , graphical improvements and all kinds of things that doesnt build on the gameplay. We need new dungeons and and new questlines, snow elven ruins and dungeons, Grey Host vampire dungeons like Dimhollow (now that ESO opened up that piece of lore on Western Blackreach), hidden akaviri temples ruins like Sky Haven Temple, ghastly haunted castles that somehow did not make into vanilla, lost dunmeri crypts in Solstheim, new kinds of lore friendly enemies to fight, and NPCs giving quests with these new features, new spells, new quests for the guilds, a lore-friendly Vigillant of Stendarr questline... It seems all modders interested in this kind of lore-friendly vanilla-blending work are all already occupied with Beyond Skyrim and Skyblivion though.
I never usually comment, but these videos man. Theyre amazing. Keep up the great work! I love these modding videos. Also, this format that you have would be great for other topics and im sure you could find success that way too! Good luck!
Great video as always! For the record though.... going around mountains and through passes (of which Skyrim has many and they are cool) is what 99.99999% of humans have done. Building a bunch of hard to maintain wooden skybridges so you can have a much more perilous and difficult journey is not immersive haha. I have noted that Skyclimb allows you to climb slanted rock faces so you can immersively climb... and fall to your death lol.
i wonder there is a mod to travel on a cart without the inta teleport? it could be nice a mod that let you jump on it and then the cart ride you there. You would be virtually invisible so that dangerouse random encounters see you as friendly so they don't stop the ride or bug your game. And maybe more travelers can join you on the cart and you can listen to their stories. Also maybe i would be able to ear a full carriage speech of the driver as he always get interrupted half way
I don't even own a PC, but love the look of your Skyrim (keeping it Lore-friendly & canon.) Plus, you included the glorious character creation music from my beloved Dark Souls, so a big tick in my book! 🙂
We need a mod that we can use if we take a boat or carriage ride, we can actually sit back and see the ride or float to the destination instead of it going black screen
There's also "Nordic Carriage Company" it's not that buggy but if the carriage gets attacked by a wolf or bandit it starts flipping out which can get pretty funny. If it gets too bad you can just click skip to destination :)
I mean one of the easiest ways to find stuff you havent seen before is to never fast travel. I believed that I had found everything until I decided to do this and while travelling I found a new Nord tomb, its part of the nightingales questline though unfortunately and I haven't gotten that far.
