I bought 4 of these and we play with them in the house and play tag with our kids. They are small enough that no one gets hurt ankles when they get tagged and quick enough that its super fun and challenging especially with multiple cars coming at you at the same time. One point worthy of noting: the servos on these are actually super quick and very responssive and the forward/reverse time is the quickest that I have found from any RC car smaller than a 1/18th scale! So kudos on the transmitters/reciever. This is hands down the best quality tiny RC car that have played with or seen.
My sons owned this truck. Lasted about a year. Quick little beast! Didn’t live up to its claims. Esc ended shorting out on both after using in a light rain. Good for the $ 35.00 I paid for each.
Looks like they are using the wltoys 144001 chassis with a new sct body probably the lexan one from lc racings 1:14th scale short course truck & some wheel stickers pretty much rather then changing the wheels heh.

I got a nitro buggy for free and I didnt have much interest in it so I sent it to the Moon ..broke the rear bulkhead and shattered a rim and kept going til I ran outta fuel ...it was epic...it reminded me of ur videos 👍👍💪💪🤙🤙

Plus it’s on sale at the moment for £48 would recommend there’s also the A959 b which is a bit quicker and a little bit more expensive at around £70 the A959 goes 50kph or around 30-35mph and the A959b goes 70kph or around 40-45mph hope that could help
I bought a Xinlehong Q901 from banggood. I bashj it just as hard as kevin and offten and its yet to break. a turn knuckle popped out once but you can force it back in. also getting oil filled shocks is a good choice for it

I just did the ear plug mod today to my Arrma notorious...it works like a dream no more front wheel spin outs lol... thanks for the idea Kev U the man! I was going to weld the diff before I seen one of your videos of you doing this this an was alot easier. I'm sure this is a lot better too than if i would have welded it lol.

I had one of these AND IT WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER OWNED!! i loved it destroyed the rear diff by holding the rear wheels from turning and gassing it~~ sad but I may buy another one soon!! (it is possible to make a lego technic wheel carrier for it and wont do that again hopefully
Hey kev, I think that you schools buy some proline badlands for your rustler 4x4. I some on mine and man is it a blast at the skatepark. The stock tires are more for “racing”. And I know you are a basher. Trust me, those tires make a difference
You'd be good with a Hobbywing Max10. The ten stands for 1/10 scale. You can also run 4s lipo (which I wouldn't recommend in a Rustler 2wd). They run between $50 - $70. They also have combo kits for $129. I'm assuming you still have the brushed motor in yours, but converting to brushless, while a little more expensive up front, will save you in the long run.
Nifty little basher, now......time to make it brushless running on 6s Lipo, that would probably grenade the little bugger but it would be funny as hell

Instead of brake cleaner I use mass air flow sensor cleaner and it works faster then brake cleaner too

Kev I placed an oil filled shocks on the rc even though the shocks were a little it still lands better than it usually does

I would bet that if the shocks had heavier oil in them then it would land much better. You should do another video with some light mods!
