- On this Special Episode of Globetrotting with Trey, visit Elvis' final resting place in Meditation Garden at Graceland. I was alone and filmed this during Elvis week 2020. I had alot of people comment that this was the best film of Graceland that they have ever seen...so I thought I should share it for everyone to experience..This is what it is like early in the morning at Elvis Presley's grave at Graceland Memphis, Tn.

I sat at Elvis' grave at 6am, it was just getting light. It was only me and Elvis for about an hour. It was the highlight of my visit to Memphis.
That's the way to do it. I have done that a few times.
My God, what an adventure, I wish I could make this too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇩🇪🙋🏼♀️

My husband & myself went to Graceland it was absolutely beautiful we went round the house & then we went out to the graves it was so very peaceful was pleased to see he had his mother near him he so missed her but they were back together . After we left Memphis we stopped at Topelo that was something else . We seen the house he was born in , also the chapel ,also a place where thing's that was collected , but the thing that really brought him near to us was The Wall Of His Life . My god I cried for him he lost so much , he never got to be with his grand children or see Liza Marie grow up . If you ever get a chance to go to his birth place please please go . R I P Elvis you will never be forgotten .
I visited Gracelands some years ago, The house was wonderful , standing beside Elvis’s grave. Was most emotional and many tears were shed. May Lisa Marie Rest In Peace with her father. ❤❤
Back in 1970-71, I rode my Motorcycle past Graceland daily going to and from work, sometimes I'd see him out at the gates talking to fans and signing autographs. He loves his fans as much as anyone could. Unfortunately, I never got to meet him, wish now I would have taken the time and stopped.
You were too young, to realize how quickly Elvis's health problems would take him from this earth! I'm sure he could have benefitted having friend like you though!

I have met women who tel me they are in love with Elvis today and yet they were born after he died! I can’t think of any other human being that existed that could create those feelings in people. Amazing man.
That’s a reason I’m a fan of the guy..he was just cool man.. women loved him and women still love the guy.. even if he would be 86. I know some pretty 20 year old girls that love him and I’m sure ep would like that today! Ha

Beautiful video Trey. So many memories flooded back of many walk ups. One I remember most was 1987. It was still dark and My friend and I were the only one there except for the dog sitting right on Elvis’ grave. I picked him up and held him for a bit. Remember he smelled like strawberry shampoo! Best smelling dog I’ve ever held. My friend took a picture and then he gave me some time and it was just me and Elvis. So surreal. Never forget that particular walk up! Thanks as always! Your silence in this video spoke volumes

@@kevinbooth6293 Thanks for responding. What an interesting and funny story. Only an animal could get away with sitting on Elvis' grave. I remember reading about a dog that Elvis had gotten for himself, that seemed to favor Delta over him, so he ended up giving the dog to her. He would pick the dog up and give it some affection, but as soon as he sat it down it would run to Delta, and he got kind of disgusted with it. I wonder if it was the same one? I think it might have been a pomeranian or something that looked similar to that. I remember seeing a pic of him once. Maybe he was finally paying his respects to Elvis, lol.

Very nice Trey! I went to Graceland yrs. ago, and Meditation Garden was so peaceful it was hard to leave. Larry Geller, Elvis's spiritual friend and hairdresser, said that Elvis designed Meditation Garden for a place to meditate and pray.
May Elvis and Lisa Marie and the Presley family RIP. Graceland was beautiful and when I visited it in 1998 hope to go back again

Well the place is beautiful but then again it looks so sad it was so full of life at once so many dreams. This has to be hard for Priscilla and Lisa Marie to go back there with all those memories. It truly is a beautiful place. Very peaceful looking the grounds are impeccable. Priscilla has done a wonderful job keeping Elvis memory alive.

I visited recently in March with my grandma before she passed from Covid shockingly in August. Couldn’t have asked for a better last trip with her.

Only time can make you feel better.. When I lost my father I needed one year to feel better ( the first 6 months were a nightmare ) ... Take care and never never give up! RIP Elvis a true star seems like yesterday when he died he is the only person I wished I could have seen in concert after all these years I've never heard any of the ladies he either dated or worked with him bad mouth him when they talk about him you can see how much he meant to them he oozed charisma god bless him 😷😍😚💗💖💝💟💞

Been to Graceland? What are you waiting for? Being here for the day touring the Home, grounds and museums across the street is something each person needs to do because Elvis touched so many with his music. I was in complete awe of this otherworldly place knowing that although I never knew him personally, I knew of him because I grew up in his lifetime. Elvis will forever be remembered just as George Washington, Neil Armstrong, Martin Luther King, they and everyone who has passed on, their lights of life will never diminish.
Yes, from 7:30 to 8:3O they allow visitors. Because it is partly a cemetery. Then later when people go on bus tour they can see the graves. It was peaceful. I went to Graceland this year, Elvis Week. House was warm and cozy. You wanted to sit under those big trees and have a picnic. Mediation Garden, you really do think. I sat down for a few minutes taking in all in. Thinking this amazing man was buried there. It was wonderful. Those beautiful front gates remarkable to watch as they open and close. And that famous cement wall.
