I was in love with Elvis growing up. I was 12 and wrote him a letter in 1969 telling him I wanted to marry him lol. I drew a picture of him with a guitar. He took a page of my original letter and sent it back to me with his autograph ❤️. I have it to this day. It’s priceless to me.
Just discovered this....what a lovely lovely insight into graceland and got chills when they show Lisa Marie's signature from childhood as the world is in shock at her sudden and sad passing. She is about to be buried next to her iconic father and grandparents and beloved son at graceland. I hope and pray her children can take as such great care of graceland's future as she did and may they all be reunited and rest in peace 🙏 xx❤️❤️🏴

My very favorite part of this video is the photo of Gladys fixing her hat in the mirror and the gorgeous photos of Elvis in the music room. The whole video is emotional to watch. I need to be able to visit Graceland.

There was a little voice inside which said, "go ahead Matt come take another wander" & so I did just that. As i walked through on my 2nd tour, it wasn't until I was halfway through where i realized I was the only person left in the entire place. Knowing just that, a feeling as though it was a private tour just for me was something I know I would never ever forget, even if I was lucky to return one day I would never have that private time. I was fortunate enough to visit Graceland in the late 80’s. Although we weren’t allowed upstairs what we did see was beautiful. Very spectacular looking home of the famous ELVIS PRESLEY!! Part 1 . I can't wait to see part 2 . I hope that I can be the 20th million person to see this magnificent home! So exciting and thank you for sharing his beautiful home with me! (us)
I been there twice and each time I am overcome with unexplained emotion I start to cry and my hands tremble. That is unlike me. You have to go you won't regret it.
I’ll never forget sneaking up to the front row on my 3rd concert visit & he reached down and touched me. Remember exactly where I was standing & what I was doing when I heard he had passed on the radio. I was a very young teenager & it cut to my core. I absolutely loved Elvis. He was bigger than life. I was just there a couple days ago... wish I had seen this before I went 😊.. but watching this I recognized so much! It was a bucket list for me to go.. been wanting to see it since I saw the movie Elvis and Me.. as a teen! I also went in honor of my late husband who was a huge fan of Elvis!
My husband,my daughter, and myself have been to Graceland a few times ,the second time we went the gaurd removed everyone away from the gates and the front steps of the house because my daughter is named after Graceland ! And we still have the pictures of that !
That drive is a piece of art! It was really thoughtful of Elvis to make sure even his cook had the latest technology! I'm sure it was appreciated with all the people she had to cook for!
Such a huge fan of Elvis.I saw all his movies through the years since I was age 12,and loved his music, concerts, everything .These videos at Graceland are amazing.Maybe one day I will have the pleasure of visiting and touring Graceland. You still live on in all our hearts..

We have that big beautiful stove in our kitchen! This is a 60s farmhouse. The stove is by Fisher Body and was considered quite a luxury in its time. Dolly Parton had one! There are knobs on this thing that help you cook the perfect steak! Two ovens and the hide-a-way burners.. we love it.
thank's I loved watching this I kept thinking about Elvis when I was watching and listening to you both I am A Elvis fan since the 1960s I can't wait for the next part
Just want to point out a little mistake. The sculpture on the ground is not David. It's always by Michelangelo, but it portrays Giuliano de'Medici. At his Medici tomb site in Florence. Thanks any way for these short documentaries of Graceland. I just love them.
Yes! Love this "series" on the hidden parts of Graceland! I've been there, so it's easy to picture where they are and how the house flows...so interesting. Thank you Angie and Tom! Look forward to more.
Can't wait till I go there alot of people think it's weird that I love Elvis I'm Mexican born in 93 so just heard his music and books and really got in to him it just seemed really cool back in them days and would of been life to been able to see him live
This is the reason why I have said "It feels like a home" after I did the VIP tour in 2012. This makes it so much more personal, but it also makes me miss him even more. Forever TCE, Forever Elvis!
This was amazing to see! I love the history behind homes. Seeing Lisa's name in that drawer made me so very sad but happy that she is in a place of peace of love. Thank you for this amazing tour and I'm off to watch part 2!
I was amazed when I took a tour of Graceland. They had the same you electric Side-by-side oven and four burners below that would be able to be pushed in and pulled out when you used it. We have that same oven when I was growing up as a child.
I accidentally took a flash picture right in front of the stairs on a tour and about got kick out....I still have the picture...which has an orb in it...and a great story to tell.....and yes Elvis is still there.
This is so nice that he did this video so we could all see this. We will never see all this when we go there. I like this man that did these videos. He has a nice personality! 🙏❤️
My wife visited Graceland from Australia in 1988. She said that it seemed a lot smaller than she thought it would be. The rooms were very small compared to the facade.
Eather people complain that cellebs have to big of houses or there dwellings are over-rated....who cares...I guess he was humble. True kings are humble
The Elvis with the bike photo was not always in that spot. In 1977 it was moved to Vernon's office and can be seen when Vernon address the fans after Elvis' death.
Yes I agree with you but he has filled more peoples hearts since his death than you know with his videos and songs. It must have been hard for him to leave so much behind.
I Love that we keep it Private - That's the Only Place in The Whole Wide World Elvis could Totally Be Himself & NOT have to be the Spectacle, Crowd-Pleaser, or Personified Image that Everyone Demanded of him (intentionally or non-intentionally). He was Human too, but could not have the Luxury of ever Shopping in Stores or Even Seeing the Fronts of the Buildings, Hotels, etc he Performed at because of Mass-Hysteria he ALWAYS had to be rushed through the Back Entrances in the Alleys etc. I think this is a Sacred Place for a Blessed Man who Gave MORE than Enough of Himself to US - The Fans! And we Respect his one Piece of Privacy - His Quarters... ;) ~Priscilla
I agree with you prissyMommylife...I have a son Fonzie Gomez from Australia who is a actor and TH-camr he's always around people and noticed by people and his santury is his bedroom....I loved Elvis Presley
Yes, when he performed in Columbia, SC, whereas ushered through the rear drive bottom , which was unexpected ! We were watching the entrance! That was the 70’s
Nicholas Cage has been upstairs and in the infamous bathroom, so was a fellow that posted pics of it on here, it is kept exactly the way it was!!! They are always removed, but pop back up once in a while!!!!!!!!!! Definitely worth a look, extremely moving!!!!!!!
That would have blown Elvis' mind that 20 million people someday would be passing through his front door. Of course that figure someday will be over 100 million and maybe even a billion!
Love every_thing I see about Graceland .It was always a dream of mine to visit .Just to stand by the gate and them white pillars as you enter in mansion. But I will never see this beautiful place ,but always read or follow everything I can .Thanks so much
Viola Pressley ........The best portrait is downstairs in the basement where his gold records are on the walls. At the end of a hallway is a life size portrait of Elvis in a white suit. It looks like he is in Heaven.

TOM AND ANGIE!! BRILLIANT WORK ................ THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH !!! XXXXX
+David Conway Looks like someone escaped from the nut house.
+Ken Williams yep he's an idiot

Can't wait till I go there alot of people think it's weird that I love Elvis I'm Mexican born in 93 so just heard his music and books and really got in to him it just seemed really cool back in them days and would of been life to been able to see him live
This is the reason why I have said "It feels like a home" after I did the VIP tour in 2012. This makes it so much more personal, but it also makes me miss him even more. Forever TCE, Forever Elvis!
Did you mean "TCB"?

Wonderful.person Angie
It is.like a relative telling. stories of a loved one. Thank you.
groot Fan van Elvis en een deel van mijn leven zonder Elvis zou het anders zijn
love elvis forever
This was amazing to see! I love the history behind homes. Seeing Lisa's name in that drawer made me so very sad but happy that she is in a place of peace of love. Thank you for this amazing tour and I'm off to watch part 2!
I’ve always wanted to see how the kitchen stairs joined the main stairway. 😎👍 ⚡️
I was amazed when I took a tour of Graceland. They had the same you electric Side-by-side oven and four burners below that would be able to be pushed in and pulled out when you used it. We have that same oven when I was growing up as a child.
This is one of my bucket list items that I still need to do, is to take a tour to Graceland!!! I hope someday I can do it!!!
My mother had that same Tappan stove with the "hidden" burners. She loved it because her kitchen in 1963 was always clean!!!
I accidentally took a flash picture right in front of the stairs on a tour and about got kick out....I still have the picture...which has an orb in it...and a great story to tell.....and yes Elvis is still there.
Haunted Hillbilly Cuzins can you not take pictures?
@@diannecorreia2512 you can just not flash which was all we had back in the 90"s
I have visited 3 times and yes the rooms are small. My first visit was in 1959. I think back then a lot of homes had smaller rooms.
Eather people complain that cellebs have to big of houses or there dwellings are over-rated....who cares...I guess he was humble. True kings are humble
In it's day Graceland was a grand mansion. Loved it!!
I was a bit disappointed! For Elvis Presley, I thought Wow! Beautiful place, but was smaller on the inside!! I expected so much more
True
The Elvis with the bike photo was not always in that spot. In 1977 it was moved to Vernon's office and can be seen when Vernon address the fans after Elvis' death.
Wow, was that ever fun to watch!! Thanks Angie for allowing us to share in some of Graceland's secrets. You must have a fun job. Well presented.

Hill Joseph oh sorry.
Is so sad because he's not there anymore, this house was a home full of love and sounds and now only silent and sadness because he's gone..
Rafaelina Urena Except when the Presley family stay over on vacation.
Rafaelina Urena yes it’s sad isn’t it
Rafaelina Urena He lives up stairs still that’s why they won’t leave you up there , he’s 84 now but doing well ..
Yes I agree with you but he has filled more peoples hearts since his death than you know with his videos and songs. It must have been hard for him to leave so much behind.

I would love to meet Angie. What a fascinating and lovely person she is!
He was so incredibly stunning. R.I.P king💕💗
Oh my goodness, I'm happy just being able to see this much. Thank you so very much. I love it. Thank you!

Yes, when he performed in Columbia, SC, whereas ushered through the rear drive bottom , which was unexpected ! We were watching the entrance! That was the 70’s
This is REALLY excellent!
I would go back there in a heartbeat....Maybe one day.....
The music room is the one I most want to go in. So much magic was made in there
Ive been to Graceland and it was an awesome experience
I wish the world would get back to how the elders did growing up they had care and compassion what happen!
I have been to Graceland twice...and never knew any of this..ty once again...
That would have blown Elvis' mind that 20 million people someday would be passing through his front door. Of course that figure someday will be over 100 million and maybe even a billion!
Please
Love every_thing I see about Graceland .It was always a dream of mine to visit .Just to stand by the gate and them white pillars as you enter in mansion. But I will never see this beautiful place ,but always read or follow everything I can .Thanks so much
Yeah Graceland is really beautiful
How are you
I love that hidden stove. My aunt used to have one similar in her house when living in a little town in the Valley of Texas. Very unique.
Really unique
How are you dear?
Beautiful photo/portrait of Elvis and his parents.
Viola Pressley ........The best portrait is downstairs in the basement where his gold records are on the walls. At the end of a hallway is a life size portrait of Elvis in a white suit. It looks like he is in Heaven.
