I started cleaning my couch tonight and can already see the difference, and it’s still wet! Literally life and money saver because we’ve used so many store bought cleaning agents and was about to give up and buy a new couch. Great video!
1) 2-3 tbsp laundry detergent to piping hot water. Scrub with rag and then brush (covered in cloth) 2) sprinkling baking soda and rub. Leave 10 mins to absorb odors 3) rewet the cloth and scrub 4) dry with new cloth and scrub

I wish I could add my before and after pictures because the transformation is incredible. My inlaws have had their couch for 18+ years, between kids and grandkids the thing was nasty looking even with in-between cleaning. I added a laundry disinfectant as well. They couch looks good as new! Thank you!
I finally got around to cleaning my 17 yr old microfiber couch & loveseat following your directions. I can’t believe the difference! It’s removed all of the teenage & dog stains. I was ready to buy a new set but now I’m happy with the one set. Thank you so very much!!!
I just used this technique to clean my couches (thank goodness my seat cushion covers are removable) and I'm impressed. Normally I would use laundry detergent to scrub and then just wipe them down. The baking soda step REALLY got the dirt and grim out and they smell so fresh! Thanks!

Incredible results with some elbow grease. Unfortunately my wife has given me the chore of couch cleaning so I needed a tried and sure method. Most people say use a spray bottle, but I noticed using the tub was better for cleaning with cleaner water or solution. I have to say you look in your 20's, so to hear your kids are grown up is quite a shock. You husband is one lucky guy. Thanks for the tips and for sharing...

This works great, my couch looks brand new, thank you! I used the scrub brush to lift the nap back up on the fabric when I was finished and that helped keep it from being stiff. This was so helpful!

I have that exact same couch with matching chair and ottoman. I had a fire in the microwave with buckwheat seeds that deposited a nicotine like deposit on everything. I will try this method. Thank you for going through this process for all of us who are in a dirty couch situation. Well done video!
Great video. To add...I scraped the moist cushions with my fingernails and they were brown after. Then I got a credit card and scraped and it was like chocolate milk so I kept doing it till it mostly stopped then went over again with a moist towel and the cushion looked clean

My sofa is not microfiber but hunny it worked like worked worked after trying a gazillion methods. This method right here made, this method made my couch look new..... thinking of trying this on my cream carpet. 🤔
I’m in Nova Scotia 🇨🇦 and I have this exact same couch! The seat cushions covers zip off and machine wash easily, but the armrests, back cushions and ottoman are in a shameful state! Will definitely try this method!
Just used your method this weekend and our light colored couches look so much brighter. Our cushions are all removable so I washed the covers inside out in washer on cold water setting in Woolite- everything looks and smells wonderful!

2/3/2024. just did my reclining chair!!! My gosh, when I wiped it with a white towel !!!! disgusting. Now it's a heck of a lot better. I did use a machine, with the detergent, used the baking soda, too. Thanks for the info!

Amazing, I have had my sofa for a long time as well, ours was for 18 years. I actually think it was the same kind of couch, it had a kelly green tint to it though. great tip.. I have the same sofa ( Lol ) I haven't tried this before but i use rubbing alcohol in one of those soap/ brush dispensers. I also can Machine wash my cushion covers.. on gentle cycle. I saved this so I can refer back to it.. Thank you..

great tip.. I have the same sofa ( Lol ) I haven't tried this before but i use rubbing alcohol in one of those soap/ brush dispensers. I also can Machine wash my cushion covers.. on gentle cycle. I saved this so I can refer back to it.. Thank you..
