Before Below Zero I think, I'm imagined on the precorsor colony planets their cities would've been suspended inside large caves or caverns where valuable resources would be abundant for construction. For example the GUN on the Island had diamonds and gold everywhere in the upper caves, The Disease research facility had nickel and crystalline sulfur, The Thermal plant and primary containment facility had kyanite and exetra. :D
I Agree Comrade Aci I Would Love To See The Ice Dragon Implemented But I Like You Don't Think It Will Happen Any Time Soon...Maybe In The Future...Also If They Did Add It I Feel Like They Should Switch The Blue In The Eyes To Yellow and Make The Yellow Tube Blue Give The Eyes Slit Pupils And Give It A Ability To Shoot Giant Chuncks Of Foggy Looking Ice Like The Sea Dragons Fire Ball Ability....But Yeah...Hope With Me Comrade.
I Also From The Concept Art Can Imagine The Ice Dragons Biome Was A GIANT GIANT Underwater Ice Cavern With The Only Source Of Light Being Sunlight To Be Honest I Think The Devs Can Add That And The Ice Dragon I Think They Just Need More Time That's All.
you know why a architect city would only work in a third game on another planet? they came to the planet for research for a cure, not for vacation.... but yeah I think the devs scraped a little bit to much even with more story focus the game feels like DLC with a little bit more content than normal story DLCs..... but it still is great I didn't play much because when I got it they allready planed the changes but it's cool (if you find the scrap in the ship I'm one of the people that had problems....)
ScionStorm Wasn’t that a concept art for the original subnautica? Like A huge ground-covering black goo which would just wreck your submarines, theorized to hate light and destroying every light source it could “see”
Agree. A very deep alien ocean (like on earth) maybe 10km deep where biouminescent bizarre creatures live. A very large dark place(no cave). So u can use resque capsules that float on surface.
Having a creature at the "bottom" of the void could also serve as a mechanic to discourage players from going too deep instead of the current mechanic of just teleporting you back.
The Titan Leviathan should exist in The Void, surviving on Ghost Leviathans for food. The Ghost Leviathans appear and push you back to the edge of the map, like normal. But, should the player decide to ignore their attacks and go further beyond the edge.... The Titan will greet them. ... It's scaring me even thinking about it. It'd be like finding an official hidden boss!!
Rosario BY What would be cool is if they added an event similar to the arora explosion where once the player enters a biome near the void a pda entry pops up informing the player a large creature has been detected near the surface. The player would then look across the water and see a ghost leviathan doing the mini hops and jumps that you see dolphins do and assume that that is the void. Then after maybe the 3rd hop a massive gaping mouth 10x the size of the leviathan could rise out of the water, snatch the creature and drag it down. This would show the player why it is a bad idea to leave the map. Then if the player got far enough from the void without being killed by ghost leviathans a tentacle could grab them and pull them into the darkness.

Actually, I feel like Camouflage Gear would be good at stepping up some of the tension, as moving too much near a leviathan or something like that would have it still being able to see you. This creates a tension as players are required to manage their oxygen but at the same time, sneak by without being spotted.
To add to your good idea what if it quietens down the foot steps allowing you to run in the ice worm zone however if running for too long it could affect your hidden status and they would find you still
it could attack you in your cyclops, but straight up ignores you if you're in a seamoth or just swimming. due to you being way too small for it to even notice, let alone think is a good snack! imagine swimming next to one though, after the fear/shock wears off. would be amazing
That's called "filter feeding" and yeah, a creature like that probably did filter feed, it probably even ate a few leviathans while doing so when it was alive.
If the Titan Leviathan was implemented why not put THAT in The Void a long with 2 Shadow Leviathans? The Shadow Leviathans would guard the entrance to The Void, but if the player somehow manages to venture past them then they’re greeted by the Titan. It’s dark colors would definitely make it a terrifying sight in the already pitch black Void.
The Atlas sub would definitely be a type of mobile base. Maybe for a deep sea game. Subnautica: Abyssal Refuge please Devs, let us explore the abyss and face the unrelenting horrors of the deepest darkest depths.
@@spicylizards4714 Well that's the thing it wouldn't be a living creature, it would be exactly what it is just a terrifying sound coming from icebergs cracking which would in the same way as it did to scientists make players think it's some kind of giant creature, it's only purpose is to terrify players with sounds from a natural phenomenon.
Maybe in the void there could be a tail moving downward. It would stir so much sediment that you would have to get closer to see it. If you gave chase, it would turn around and swallow you whole, being so massive that it comfortably fits any vehicle in either game down its gullet. Its roar could be somewhere between a tornado siren and a ghost leviathan roar in a lower frequency.
I feel like they should make the “arctic” biome (near the Lilypads) have a precursor cache that is guarded by the single cell leviathan. You go under an ice sheet, everything turns pitch black and you have to find precursor landmarks to locate the cache, it will be above water
Just got to this channel, here's my idea: Prawn suit grip feet. Lets you walk up walls underwater, but it'd take a tiny bit of flight fuel to do so Another idea I had is TEXTURE PACKS!! My subnautica bugged out a while ago and the surface of the water looked really cartoony, and looked like something out of a texture pack!
I think I would add a unique ghost leviathan attack animation, this ghost leviathan animation only happens when your in your cyclops, it will wrap around the submarine with it's long, snake-like body, and squeeze it, dealing 70% of damage, sometimes the ghost leviathan will also smash its face into the window, dealing an extra 10% of damage. :3
Well with the shadow Leviathan, it's extremely difficult to maneuver even a sea moth or sea truck without it getting attacked and subsequently destroyed. So camo for the sea truck would be amazing
Three things I would add: 1. The ability to pick up your candle fish from open water and put it back in the tank so reapers can’t eat it while you’re out gathering resources/doing the story. 2. A map. It doesn’t have to be super intricate, just a map that gets filled in as you explore and let’s you mark points of interest. You could even have an option where it doesn’t show you where you are on the map, so you have to figure that out yourself with a compass and GPS. Like in Ark 3. Actual weapons/armor. I’m not asking for machine guns and grenade launchers, but like, a crossbow or something, and maybe coral armor? Just SOMETHING that I can use to defend myself that doesn’t require me to catch exploding fish for ammo.
What I would love to see for an ending to Below Zero is that you take on the body of a precursor because somehow you got mortally injured and Al-An returns the favor by saving your life... sort of. That would be an interesting turn in my opinion.
I've got an idea: leviathan cubs. Basically, each leviathan has a den somewhere in their turf, and if you find it, you can grab a leviathan egg. When the egg hatches, the leviathan baby is essentially the equivalent of a Minecraft wolf, following you around and attacking anything that tries to do you harm. And eventually, the cub grows into an adult, so now only other leviathans will challenge you.
I really hope there are more games in the future exploring the world and history of 4546B there’s so much to discover and how cool would a swamp Subnautica be with alligator/crocodile like creatures
A relative of The frozen leviathan, built to stalk the land and water for prey. A mangrove biome would be cool, where there are massive trees forming a jungle, the bottom with about 50m deep, murky water and 100m or so tall trees, occasional islands, and a barracuda-like creature.
1. a dynamic hud, that will hide some UI elements like health, when they are full, and show them when they are not full. this will be fully configurable, so if you only want to see oxygen when you are below 48% oxygen you can do that. you can also choose if you want to disable the compass and depth meter as well. 2. a few additional audio PDAs that the player can find. the purpose of these is to provide breadcrumbs for the player to follow to help them find some of the more well hidden areas 3. strategically placed in each biome will be destructible rocks. the prawn with drill arm is the best way to clear them out. there will also be a new crafting recipe for explosives that the player can find inside one of the mining bases, and above ground in a pinch you can detonate a pengwing robot as well for similar effect. players will be encouraged, but not required, to explore previously inaccessible areas to gain access to resources that might otherwise be difficult to find, or unblock certain underwater shortcuts between the biomes to make traversing the world a bit easier. to complete the game, players will also be given a tutorial, to open the way to the deepest biome. 4. a total overhaul for the crafting recipes for the final quest chain. now requires significantly more of each resource. as well as additional more difficult to obtain resources that will require the player to find and collect specific flora and fauna from every biome. (example: find specific creature eggs, raise those eggs to maturity, collect DNA samples from the creatures that hatch). 5. a certain other endgame recipe will also be much more complex than a pepper and a vase plant, I assure you, given its massive importance in the lore. 6. a new zone. it's even deeper, and quite massive in size, and has a network of lava tunnels along certain parts of it that the player can hide in. this zone features a new terrifying octopus leviathan. this leviathan is no joke, it is impossible to kill and has great speed, so your best option is to avoid it if possible. it has an AI director that learns and adapts to the player similar to that alien game. sometimes it will decide to make a low clicking sound. during this time the player should do their best not to move or make noise as this will alert the AI to the players location. if it manages to grasp the player, and the player hits it with a torpedo or EMP, it will release an ink cloud, spin the player around, and speed away. it can change its color and blend into its surroundings, so you can never be sure exactly where it is in the zone at any given time. it does this to try to ambush players that get too close. but it will alternate between ambush mode and hunt mode. in hunt mode, it can send tentacles down into lava corridors to try to find prey. sometimes these corridors will have rock punchers in them that it can also feast on which will cause it to lose interest for a while. a certain part of the zone is an opening that appears to be too small for the leviathan. when the player moves through it for the first time however, an in-game cutscene will play and to the players horror it will squeeze through and continue to pursue the player. the player can distract it by various means (flares, grav traps, explosives, thumpers). going into this area with a very long and very slow seatruck is not recommended, but if you do get grabbed as a last resort you can disconnect the modules)
I would like to go the bioshock 2 route and have a gamemode where we played as a sea creature, possibly a warper and our base building was using the Precurser/Architect facility tech and our pet buddy being one of those robot crabs XD Or scrap base building altogether and instead the virus and food mechanics play a more pivotal role where we play as some sort of predator and need to eat and maintain health, possibly even engaging in symbiotic relations with the emperor leviathans, keeping them safe from more violent predators and even sharing food in return for a steady supply of enzyme. Going off that idea, we could have a slime rancher like business system where more creatures dropped things like the stalker teeth and enzyme, and we needed to risk life and limb to collect these things in return for currency or perhaps just more cosmetic styles for our buildings and vehicles...like a sea truck made of shadow leviathan, possibly integrating some of that camouflage idea from the video where you could apply camo to something after risking a dangerous mission to get something off of one, but the camo only works on one creature at a time, and it doesn't fool the creature in question forever, so they will eventually catch on and attack. Listen...I have ideas....most of them aren't good ideas...but they are ideas XD
Ye lol that IS a good idea but JUST adding it to the game would be a lotta content for just a game which would destroy the main story AND Subnautica itself (2 games in 1 game) and it wouldnt fit to the "u ship get crash, u alone" theme, maybe a DLC tho
My Custom Ending: You go with Al-An, he builds a custom body for you, very similar structure, like having the four-legged body, but with some humanoid features as well.
Just a leviathan that’s intelligent like the emperor. Except it comes out of nowhere and scares you, then laughs at you saying “got you” as it drifts into the blue
That'd be pretty cool, just a leviathan with human intellegence, it could even go further and grab you, before revealing that it just gets a kick out of fucking with you.
The most terrifying thing i can imagine is being in the void, ghost leviathans are harassing you then they just stop and scatter. Suddenly you hear a titanic snap and one of the ghost leviathans glowing body gos dark, and the giant eye of a titan leviathan swims by, before locking its eyes on you.
there's always been 3 things that bothered me that i wish they'd change. As a professional scuba cave diver I wish that the inside of the caves were pitch black instead of lit up. because the crystal caves look like it's mid evening, not like the midnight zone of a real underwater cave. I get bioluminescence, however for the cave to be that lit up, the crystals would have to emit almost as much light if not more than the sun does. light dissipates really fast in water and crystals and plants would only be seen as a light source like a dim light with a slight glow around it, not enough to make it daytime underwater. I think if they did this it'd give a need to use the path finder in below zero and the dive reel in subnautica it'd give us a way to map caves out and add the risk of getting lost if we failed to mark the caves with reels or pathfinders, we'd get more uses for the flashlight as well and it'd make things like the leviathans even more terrifying, if you met a reaper this way you may never see him unless you're diligent in checking with a flashlight , and the shadow leviathan all you'd see is a mouth that looks like a large fish swimming around, and hear the terrifying roar in the darkness. another thing I wish they'd change/fix is the depth scale, I want to be realistic here, it has always bothered me that you dive down to 1000 meters with no problems. because that's 3200ft, rediculous crushing depths, and even though the sea truck is crushed at those depths, without upgrades how come you aren't. that over 14,000psi on your body, thats even before you have to worry about other things like oxygen toxicity, plus the speed you swim up would be ridiculously fast at such a large scale. if they simply made 1000m, into 130m, that'd allow you to not die of pressure and make it a more reasonable speed to be traveling. i don't know why it's always bothered me but every time I see the word meters I just wish they'd at least make it ft, or remove a 0 because right now it's not not even a reasonable scale of depth or distance. the last thing I wish they'd change is just O2 to say AIR, please, this is purely a habitual thing but I specifically have to teach students it's not an oxygen tank , it's an air tank and I have to correct them every time they call it an oxygen tank. we're very adamant about this because 100% O2 would say O2 on it, otherwise it's nitrox or air. 100% O2 would kill you below 10m underwater, and if you ask for an oxygen tank at a dive shop, you'll get an oxygen tank for decompression, not an air tank for diving. I know these last two are petty and probably only me and few others because again... diver but, It still bothers me.
I completely get all of those things however do keep in mind that 1. this takes place in the far future, so air tanks and suits could be different and could stand pressure. 2. This is a dif planet so the crystals or water could be different. that's the point, we don't know this new world
What I would add: the ability to fabricate together pieces of specific scrap to make a bucket and the ability to make a fire using sticks found on the rare islands, and be able to make food or make water by boiling & cooking using different spices found in different biomes. Salt: normal spawn ???: alien facility’s near surface [ERROR Code 6619]: in the bottom facility Essence: gained by boiling peepers
Honestly it would be cool to have a cutscene showing how the precursors died out kinda like order 66 in Star Wars. We know how they died but it would be cool to have in the game seeing the precursor’s end
Well, they didn't die, you can actually see and hear them (in the original game) they were the warpers, they just for some reason never continued their research on the coro- _I MEAN CARAAR_ virus, instead just made a body immune to it and just did their things (except they didn't, they did research, but abandoned that after becoming warpers.)
@@wasifl9387 they can transfer their consciousness into machines as data. Why wouldn't they become the warpers which they built to be immune to the caraar also, if they were escaping the planet, why would they build a giant turret to prevent people from leaving the planet, with the only people that're able to turn it off being people who aren't infected? That seems incredibly counterintuitive.
I feel like a leviathan that looked friendly but eventually would just swim really fast at you. Open it’s jaws and just scream, like a really deep war horn kinda sound, and then a chase scene, would really just bring a sense of “I can’t trust anything here”
honestly multiplayer alone would be such a big and welcome thing. they initially mentioned that they were thinking about it but then went back and said no....might as well since they have become a bigger studio. it would bring in a LARGE amount more revenue
The Titan Leviathan would be a perfect choice cus they revealed the skeleton and maybe just maybe there's just one out there in the dark abyss of the ocean
I would add the Chronic leviathan It's would have translucent skin with a green glow if it can't catch you with its mandibles it'll launch Chronic acid towards you if you feed it a ice fruit or snow peeper it will follow you for 12 minutes[...]
I just think some miscellaneous side missions would be nice such as maybe cleaning up the ocean a bit, possibly add a wounded snow stalker (this would allow you to tame snow stalkers, give Al-an some more character definition by making him comment on it possibly), gardening, maybe even a camera and printer (you could take a picture on the camera, go to the printer, and print a poster of the picture. Maybe also making your interfaces customizable with them)
@@harry176 Hmm personally I don't think and especially after the newest update, that story was going on bad direction. You need to help Al-An and as well avoid this lady from previous game. Although I think that you are right, it might be more than just not being happy with the results. Also thanks for the reply!
The leviathan at the end would be amazing in the game! Can imagine first seeing the tentacle like parts of its face first. Thinking it’s a large octopus or something. Sneaking around it but if you touched one then it would appear and strike.
Imagen if ther was a sea creature that would spit out portals to other dimensions but every dimension brings the deadliest sea creature in to that very ocean
They could make a Subnautica: Into the Deep or something like that where most of the game is in super-deep waters. This would be super scary and fun to explore. You could add huge submarines, maybe even bigger than the Atlas, and even bigger leviathans.
I just want them to add a functioning ecosystem so I can watch my sea animals be sea animals in my sea animals game, instead of some fish being arcadey enemies and some fish that essentially amount to "massive intractable particles"
Things I think they should add Leviathan- Vison, can turn invisible for few seconds The great void beast, sucks you into the void The eye-,when swimming, if you see the sea floor moving, it is a leviathan The turtle, it's a island, no wait, it's a moving island, no wait, it's a giant turtle Fish- Minion- when killed, divides, like Minecraft slime Poster- My face Items and vehicles- War submarine, has lasers in it Leviathan decoy, disguise as a leviathan and the leviathan won't attack, for 30 seconds A moving house, it is a vehicle, but has a mini multi-purpose room in it And lastly Multiplayer Can you make a vid about it
Mp can NOT be added to either subnautica or below zero because it’s way too late to even do that. In order to have proper MP game. You need to code the game from the beginning too support MP. Subnautica (Unity engine) was coded from start as single player game. While modder may try add fake MP, it will NEVER be as good as proper MP game. MP would need be coded from very start of the game, you’d need code/cook both client and you’d need code/cook the server software as well. Almost every single thing would need be coded/tested and setup for MP. It’s not something you just add few lines code and boom you have MP. You want PROOF what happens when you don’t do correctly. Go look at game “ fallout 76” “fallout 76” by Bethesda. They hired some cheap company to tack on ( slap on as cheap as possible) MP to broken old creation game engine that was never design for multi player. Then they sold it ti gamer's as fully function game. (Which is scam imo and Bethesda should be facing huge fines/lying to public/selling broken product) Creation engine hasn’t been updated properly in years and was always single player game engine. Chances are Bethesda does NOT even have proper server coded for it. Thus why game is full cheats/hackers. No matter how much they try to fix or add it. It will Always be broken, because game engine was NEVER design to be multi player game. You don’t drive mini van to race track. It not design for speed. That what fallout 76 is. Rusted broken van that duck taped together. I speak truth as ex beta tester, small server admin and ex moderator (tech help guy) from small steam indie dev team (UE4). While I’m no dev myself. I learn a lot from dev team I was helping and about game development. Especially when comes MP. As I was one main server admin that help test there first working server software. I remember early days when we have my server up and we’d have issues when more then 20 ppl would connect to my server. Server would just crash for no reason. Simple little bugs like this can sometime take days/weeks or even months to track down, fix, retest. Most MP game development take much longer to make. It can take anywhere 3-5+ yrs or more. Depending on # ppl working on it. How skilled/ knowledgeable they are and if they have server too test it on. Then you also need many users too logon and stress test as much as possible. Just when everything looks good. Some other bug you thought you fixed awhile. Come back and brings whole thing back down to a crash. Rinse and repeat for 3-5 yrs and you’ll start understand game development. I love both Subnautica and Below zero. But the only way we’ll ever see MP game. Is if devs make one from scratch. They still struggle to optimize base subnautia, let alone below zero. Good video. But hope this gives some ppl insight on how stressful MP can be. As said I was just tech help guy/server admin. I’m sure other devs could give far better info on how bad it really can get at times for mp :) Ps bugging devs for release date or when next patch isn’t good. Now times number of ppl who love and play Subnautica/below zero, then ask yourself if you were in their shoes. How many times do you think ppl ask these very questions?? What ever your answer is. Times that by 500 or more. The head dev I got know for team I was helping. Would show me " his screen" shot from his discord and he easily have anywhere 200-400+ messages. They quickly add up and ppl forget they human being too. ESP during days now as world more isolates it self because virus concerns. More ppl be on internet. Please remember be respectful, don’t nag/bug or pester devs.
The robots in the arcetect area where you find Al-An would they be able to add an animation that you pat or look at them and they stay and look at you for a bit? If so that would be flipping cuteeee
Another game idea/title: Subnautica Deep Zone Basically it’s where you explore the deep and only the deep, and if you go too the pitch black zone (what I call it) a giant Leviathan will fight you like how Ghost Leviathans do! Hope you like my idea!
I got an idea on how to include some of these amazing concepts (and some of my own) into the game. It would work as something like a DLC for below zero with no major story relevants, so endgame material just for fun. In the games starting menu you´ll find a new game mode which only shows up when you have at least one safe file where the story is played threw completely. You can now choose that safe file with the new game mode to enter the map you played in so far, giving you acces to everthing you build and granting you an access card. This card lets you enter a, to this point, locked part of a small, abandoned Alterra base on land. In it would be a still somewhat funktioning railway system brining you to another part of the ice covered land mass, there you´d find another massive base at the shore reaching over the open water which looks like a giant moonpool. When you enter it, you first have to bring back power by placing and starting one or two nuklear reaktors in designated places. Once that has been done you can acces a computer and download the blueprints for the Atlas submarine. When you bring enough resources you can build it in the facility and of course use it. The Atlas itself is huge on the inside and has everything necessary to act as a temporary base in it, its also quite luxurious. The moonpool is connected to a new map that does not intersect with the current map of below zero. It is only comprised of one huge, narrow, long and extremely deep void biome. The biome itself is rather boringand plain like the void we know, but it would give the Atlas enough space to move around freely and give the opportunity to include new gigantic Leviathans. Maybe eaven one Titan leviathan in the furthest edge of the map who knows. If you now follow the emptyness for long enough and survive all threats of the deep, the board computer will adress you of shallow waters ahead and refuses to go any closer to prevent damage to the submarine. When you exit the sub now, you will find yourself on the crater of the original subnautica game. You can explore the old map and eaven build a base here if you so choose. The map itself is basically the same as in the base game, but there are a few subtle changes for you to find. For example is the wreck of the aurora now way more broken down and rusted, you can find a little still funktioning sea base in the safe shallows which belonged to Ryley, with a cuddlefish in an aquarium for you to take with you, and you´ll find a half sunken and cleary burned rocket launch pad floating around on the surface. And (if this isn´t to sad) if you make your way down to the primary containment facility you will find the skeletal remains of the sea emperror. This all of course would only make sense if the story of below zero gives you a lore friendly explanaition on how you can return to sector zero after the game has ended, but if the lore allows for that, this would actually be the ideal oportunity to also add the option for multyplayer into it, since story is no concern in this game mode, you can just focus on exploration and building on both maps which is way more fun when you aren´t alone.
It's a cool idea, but what is the point of swimming trough a black void just being attacked. The void needs something other than big leviathans to be interesting
I’d rather want to add a huge floater at the bottom of the playable map like when you go to the dead zone you eventually see different species of floats like different colors of them floating to the surface say starting around 1000m. Eventually reaching around 2500 meters you see a giant floater with pieces of rubble and metal hanging off it’s body while they have pierced through it, it’s slowly losing air which is why the playable land isn’t on the surface anymore it once was due to this floater, but as time went on it slowly started deflating and eventually will be lost into the void making the true dead zone where all that is there to greet you is the jaws of leviathans.
I would add a Ice Dragon and it would be able 2 hypnotize hostile creatures to make an army of them it would be found far away from Spawn so you won't encounter it often
I would want to see a thriving reef defended by either a Titan Leviathan or something massive. The area should be like the Emperor's containment facility, teeming with symbiotic creatures, but they don't want you there. I would also like to see a full-sized school of Reaper leviathans, as in just tons and tons of them all in one place. These are just two cool ideas and I don't really think they have much of a place in the game. On things I'd add? I would add something that could eat the seatruck in one fell swoop, if it wanted to, but just wouldn't because of the game balance. There could also be a massive croc-like creature that had the same body shape despite being warm-blooded. I'd also add an area where the style of the environment is less beautiful and more barren, clearly hostile.
I would add plasma cannons to some vehicles so you can get in epic fights with leviathans. Like how in Sea of Thieves you can fight beasts like the Kraken or Megalodon with cannons and pirate weapons.
@@CheeseEnjoyer4206 cuz didnt the pda in the main game say something about it makeing some of the blueprints that are tailored to the situation but it cant be bothered to make a real weapon
@@john02222 Yeah that's why we have torpedo's and not missles. But apparently a crisis broke out that made them add a no gun law, which is why we only have knifes and stasis rifles.
Crysta Leviathan, can be tamed by giving it a Diamond, and it'll produce all sorts of gems, but it can't be killed and fires Thermo Fragments, hot as Lava.
@@ryukrants7975 then how about no firing and there is only 1 egg to hatch and you have to hatch and tame before it destroys your base and it can't survive above the red Crystal Caverns?
the frozen leviathan should have a breakout cinamatic and then after getting out fall in the water and get kiled by snowstalkers and shadow leviathans and the ice worm
I have never seen this suggested, but I would love some kind of a boat or ship that moves faster than the submarines but lacks diving capabilities. It would also be cool to have some kind of a creature to drag the boat under, sort of like a Kraken.
A leviathan that is most related to the frozen leviathan, can walk on land and swim in water. Ice ears, glowing blue eyes like the snow stalker, sharp teeth, about 10,000 of them.
I’d ad a creature called; Boranas, they are half piranha, half bone shark, they would usually hunt in packs, from at least 4 to 8, they would be the size of the players hands, they would have two eyes on each side of its body, it’s body would be the like the shape of a peeper...just not with the giant eyes that a peeper has, they can take on (if they wanted to) a Stalker, after 16 bites from the Boronas the Stalker will swim away very fast, but if the Stalker gets bitten 24 times then it would die, they will act a bit like Stalkers; every few minutes they would come into the safe shallows to hunt new types of prey; the peepers (they only do this if they don’t have many fish to eat in the creep vines), boomerang fish, Bladder fish, and Gary fish, They will hunt the player down if they think the player is a fish (one piranha would Sniff you a bit, then 2 more, if you move while their sniffing you then they’l classify you as a fish, and they will swim back to their Creep vine forest and tell the other piranhas.)
A fish trap that you add bait to and it automatically attracts, captures, and adds fish to storage. maybe different planets, meats would attract different fish, and if you scan enough mesmeres you can add an attachment that actually hypnotizes fish and makes it much more affective. and if you spend enough time in an area where you can hear the seadragon after initially scanning it, a modification for your seamoth, seaglide, prawn suit, and cyclops would be made available that plays the recording to scare of reapers but it would introduce a small chance of attracting the sea dragon itself
The return of the Reefbacks and Sea Treaders, And you can build on them, Like build a base on top of the reefbacks And on the flat surface of Sea Treader, For example a walking base, which is a base on a sea treader, :)
I have readen nearly every comment here. And I say, that the community ideas are pretty good. Devs should make a game entirely made with fan ideas. What I mean is that fans propose the game mechanics and devs test them, if they would fit the games theme. They could even implement EVERY fan idea. That would be huuuuge game or update, call it how you want...
The PERFECT additions, to me, would be huge, God-like creatures from times unremembered that sleep at the bottom of the ocean. Or, I would add huge dragons that leap out of the sea and fly all the way to the sunset!
an extra biome, like a completely different one from what's already in the game, under the "clouds" where the gargantuan leviathan skeleton is. but as you try and pass, an alive one would lurk around and try to attack you. but you would need a special suit to go through the clouds as its filled with different chemicals, that's why the skeleton doesn't go through. i think that would be cool to see, basically an expansion of the area!
Something that ill like is an special animation if you go too deep into the void Like you are a shit ton of meters away, and all of the sudden an animation plays where you see a ghost leviathan being dragged by some tentacles deep into the void then they grab you, and also pull you in, killing your flashlight any other source of light you have in the process so you cant see what dragged you in
Here is it an idea [The Void Leviathan]or[Leviathan Zilla] Size: only 20 meters longer and taller than the Titan (I like to imagine that it would the Titan leviathans rival) Looks: a Kraken like Fusion between the Dragon Leviathan and the ghost Leviathan Location: the void where it would compete with the Titan for food and survival (it would of course feed on ghost leviathans) Abilities: EMP roars, long grasping tentacles, bioluminescence, *NOPE* glow-in-the-dark eyes, and suction
I'm very late but here's what I would add to Below Zero. I would add a meeting with Ryley Robinson or you can find references to him. That would be cool.
Adding onto the Gargantuan Leviathan idea: progressively larger and scarier leviathans that build up to it. Something like “The Silence” from that fan art, and two, three, four, then a bigger, scarier kraken-like alien spawning, and the others despawning in a tentacle grab animation, dragging them down toward the deep, where a Kraken waits, before finally, the titan leviathan spawns, instantly attacking and swallowing your craft, with little chance to escape. A nice little food chain of annihilation, y’know?
idea: could've added the concept art of the titan leviathan in a deep, deep biome with almost complete darkness, an almost empty void; and with that long beast swiming around, though it would probably be too much to code since it's like 2-3 kilometres long (on the concept art that is, using the seamoth for scale), the eyes and dots along its sides glowing ever so faintly in the dark.
It's sad to think about the sea dragons. There are only three of them and apparently they reproduce slowly so they could just be extinct by the time Below Zero happened, I know they were a pain but I actual liked the sea dragons and I'm kinda sad knowing they'll just all die out by either starving or just not being able to reproduce fast enough
I would add a whispering leviathan, it's friendly but when you attack it, you will die by 2 hits but it has nice loot and I would add the Titan Leviathan *ALIVE*
What I really want to be added to either of the games is a map that is three times the size of the Below Zero map and the regular Subnautica map, that way more exploration is keeping the player engaged. Also, more crafting items and maybe cosmetics would be very cool.
The ecological dead zone being more fleshed out would make my day. The idea was just to keep people in the main map with ghost leviathans, but what if there were even BIGGER monsters out there? Maybe the apex predator in the lost river biome has a sibling that is still alive? Maybe there’s something EVEN MORE massive out there.

Before Below Zero I think, I'm imagined on the precorsor colony planets their cities would've been suspended inside large caves or caverns where valuable resources would be abundant for construction.
For example the GUN on the Island had diamonds and gold everywhere in the upper caves,
The Disease research facility had nickel and crystalline sulfur,
The Thermal plant and primary containment facility had kyanite and exetra.
Make part 2
you know why a architect city would only work in a third game on another planet? they came to the planet for research for a cure, not for vacation.... but yeah I think the devs scraped a little bit to much even with more story focus the game feels like DLC with a little bit more content than normal story DLCs..... but it still is great I didn't play much because when I got it they allready planed the changes but it's cool (if you find the scrap in the ship I'm one of the people that had problems....)
Somehow i really love the Idea of a exclusive leviathan for the void
Ghost leviathans are ok but i'd love something that fits with the cold
Not to mention those Ghost Leviathans are adults and not children.

The perfect DLC could be: an ocean with large Leviathans and large submarines and an alien city in the center.

Having a creature at the "bottom" of the void could also serve as a mechanic to discourage players from going too deep instead of the current mechanic of just teleporting you back.
In my opinian, that would encourage players to go in the void so they could see it.
or just make it go to max crush depth for any sub
The Titan Leviathan should exist in The Void, surviving on Ghost Leviathans for food.
The Ghost Leviathans appear and push you back to the edge of the map, like normal. But, should the player decide to ignore their attacks and go further beyond the edge.... The Titan will greet them.
... It's scaring me even thinking about it. It'd be like finding an official hidden boss!!
More like having your computer immediately crash and catch on fire from the sheer size of it
Rosario BY What would be cool is if they added an event similar to the arora explosion where once the player enters a biome near the void a pda entry pops up informing the player a large creature has been detected near the surface.

YES, living gargantuan leviathan!
Nah we got shrimp down here
Actually, I feel like Camouflage Gear would be good at stepping up some of the tension, as moving too much near a leviathan or something like that would have it still being able to see you. This creates a tension as players are required to manage their oxygen but at the same time, sneak by without being spotted.
To add to your good idea what if it quietens down the foot steps allowing you to run in the ice worm zone however if running for too long it could affect your hidden status and they would find you still
Damn, that Titan Leviathan would most likely just accidentally swallow you like a little insect, instead of actually hunting attacking you.
Eberhard Yea, lol
it could attack you in your cyclops, but straight up ignores you if you're in a seamoth or just swimming. due to you being way too small for it to even notice, let alone think is a good snack!
imagine swimming next to one though, after the fear/shock wears off. would be amazing
You know what's worse? The Titan Leviathan is probably a hundred thousand sea moths of length! AND PROBABLY TEN OR MORE OF REAPER LEVIATHANS OF LENGTH

Maybe in the void there could be a tail moving downward. It would stir so much sediment that you would have to get closer to see it. If you gave chase, it would turn around and swallow you whole, being so massive that it comfortably fits any vehicle in either game down its gullet. I feel like they should make the “arctic” biome (near the Lilypads) have a precursor cache that is guarded by the single cell leviathan. You go under an ice sheet, everything turns pitch black and you have to find precursor landmarks to locate the cache, it will be above water
Great Idea
someone put this man on the dev team
A gigantic leviathan in the void would be AMAZING
maybe they should put a levi in the void with the camouflage ability ;0
Oh my God please no 😂
Or one that produces silt clouds, so if you go out further, the visibility goes way down, and then they come out of the fog enmass
Eric Burton that’s a pretty cool idea as well :0
Just thinking about that I nearly had a heart attack
And there would be a cutscene where it would just pop out of its camouflage and just eat you
Just got to this channel, here's my idea:
Prawn suit grip feet. Lets you walk up walls underwater, but it'd take a tiny bit of flight fuel to do so
Another idea I had is TEXTURE PACKS!! My subnautica bugged out a while ago and the surface of the water looked really cartoony, and looked like something out of a texture pack!
I'd add a way to return to the original game's location and have the bases and such there reflect what Riley left behind (from your previous save)
That'd be so cool!! Seeing your old bases turned into something reminiscent of the Degasi bases, covered in moss and returning to the sea? Chills.
You find a large amount of cuddlefish that have repopulated the shallows
@Callum Smith you can see one in below zero
An airlock , a dock for the cyclops to connect with your base ... an realistic mode with deco stops and different air mixtures .

Three things I would add:
Like in Ark
Or maybe like Al-An betrays you and you have to fight him or something b r w your idea is cool

@@rominamartone9613 imagine an alligator or crocodile leviathan and more sky animals based off dragonflies or fireflies
2. a few additional audio PDAs that the player can find. the purpose of these is to provide breadcrumbs for the player to follow to help them find some of the more well hidden areas
3. strategically placed in each biome will be destructible rocks. the prawn with drill arm is the best way to clear them out. there will also be a new crafting recipe for explosives that the player can find inside one of the mining bases, and above ground in a pinch you can detonate a pengwing robot as well for similar effect. players will be encouraged, but not required, to explore previously inaccessible areas to gain access to resources that might otherwise be difficult to find, or unblock certain underwater shortcuts between the biomes to make traversing the world a bit easier. to complete the game, players will also be given a tutorial, to open the way to the deepest biome.
4. a total overhaul for the crafting recipes for the final quest chain. now requires significantly more of each resource. as well as additional more difficult to obtain resources that will require the player to find and collect specific flora and fauna from every biome.
That Is a good idea
Ye lol that IS a good idea but JUST adding it to the game would be a lotta content for just a game which would destroy the main story AND Subnautica itself (2 games in 1 game) and it wouldnt fit to the "u ship get crash, u alone" theme, maybe a DLC tho

The Chad leviathan
I just hopping Bellow zero will go more deeper, but that impossible
2. This is a dif planet so the crystals or water could be different. that's the point, we don't know this new world
adam adkins this is a survival, sci-fi game based on an alien planet not a scuba simulator.

Honestly it would be cool to have a cutscene showing how the precursors died out kinda like order 66 in Star Wars. We know how they died but it would be cool to have in the game seeing the precursor’s end
It will be done, my Lord.
@@anidiot192 no that's not True. the warpers are the precursors creation to kill the caraar while they escaped the planet
Would it just devolve into fortnight?
@@ScionStorm1 no how would that even happen
WOLFY BOY If that happens, the world has truly been destroyed by badnite
The Titan Leviathan would be a perfect choice cus they revealed the skeleton and maybe just maybe there's just one out there in the dark abyss of the ocean
That skeleton was in the original Subnautica and it isn’t the Titan leviathan
It’s the gargantuan leviathan
I would add the Chronic leviathan
It's would have translucent skin with a green glow if it can't catch you with its mandibles it'll launch Chronic acid towards you if you feed it a ice fruit or snow peeper it will follow you for 12 minutes[...]
Maybe also making your interfaces customizable with them)
I've actually heard that the devs aren't going to add any more fauna in the game, including the kitewing(yeah it's all scrapped)
이재형 they might I heard recently they fired a writer and wanna redo the whole story
@@harry176 Oh what? Is there any information why they fired this writer?
Mrs. Pathetic on the surface it’s because they dint like the direction of the story but I think it’s more then that lol
@@harry176 Hmm personally I don't think and especially after the newest update, that story was going on bad direction. You need to help Al-An and as well avoid this lady from previous game.
Although I think that you are right, it might be more than just not being happy with the results.
Also thanks for the reply!
They didn't fire him. He left because he prefers working in smaller companies.

Release date is apparently somewhere around May 14 2021
imagine rolling up to the titan leviathan with your stasis gun and a full inventory of batteries
Dont forget your knife
@funny stuff thermo for results knife only if you are insane
@funny stuff oh so you are aiming for Valhalla I take it
They could make a Subnautica: Into the Deep or something like that where most of the game is in super-deep waters.
Things I think they should add
Leviathan-
Vison, can turn invisible for few seconds
The great void beast, sucks you into the void
The eye-,when swimming, if you see the sea floor moving, it is a leviathan
The turtle, it's a island, no wait, it's a moving island, no wait, it's a giant turtle
Fish-
Minion- when killed, divides, like Minecraft slime
Poster-
My face
Items and vehicles-
War submarine, has lasers in it
Leviathan decoy, disguise as a leviathan and the leviathan won't attack, for 30 seconds
A moving house, it is a vehicle, but has a mini multi-purpose room in it
And lastly
Multiplayer
Can you make a vid about it
Mp can NOT be added to either subnautica or below zero because it’s way too late to even do that.
Go look at game “ fallout 76”
“fallout 76” by Bethesda. They hired some cheap company to tack on ( slap on as cheap as possible) MP to broken old creation game engine that was never design for multi player. Then they sold it ti gamer's as fully function game. (Which is scam imo and Bethesda should be facing huge fines/lying to public/selling broken product)
Creation engine hasn’t been updated properly in years and was always single player game engine.
I’m sure other devs could give far better info on how bad it really can get at times for mp :)
Ps bugging devs for release date or when next patch isn’t good.
Holly hell how long did it take you to do this? I hope not that long now ;-;

Hi thanks for reply!
Neat comment, certainly enlightening
The solution:Code the next one with multiplayer
The robots in the arcetect area where you find Al-An would they be able to add an animation that you pat or look at them and they stay and look at you for a bit? If so that would be flipping cuteeee
I’d add a McDonald’s in the dead zone and inside the place where the sea emperor spawns
And take my like
Another game idea/title: Subnautica Deep Zone
Basically it’s where you explore the deep and only the deep, and if you go too the pitch black zone (what I call it) a giant Leviathan will fight you like how Ghost Leviathans do! Hope you like my idea!
fun fact around 8000m at void you get teleport to start location
What we really need in below zero are gasopods
Let’s bring the reaper back
reaper is still the scariest
Joshua Couture UHM NO
the shadow reaper leviathan...
sadly the shadow reaper isnt that scary he looks like from Yu-Gi-Oh
Joshua Couture no that wouldn’t make any sense
6:57 i think that was added well like in the ending we see it 👍
I would add a Ice Dragon and it would be able 2 hypnotize hostile creatures to make an army of them it would be found far away from Spawn so you won't encounter it often
How about at bare minimum a harpoon gun
@@john02222 I agree
@@CheeseEnjoyer4206 cuz didnt the pda in the main game say something about it makeing some of the blueprints that are tailored to the situation but it cant be bothered to make a real weapon
@@john02222 Yeah that's why we have torpedo's and not missles. But apparently a crisis broke out that made them add a no gun law, which is why we only have knifes and stasis rifles.
@@CheeseEnjoyer4206 that is stuped why say oh ya no guns in a survival situation on a uninhabited world smart
3:52 "it would certainly discourage players from venturing too far down"
i'd go to the void right away and make a base ngl
Crysta Leviathan, can be tamed by giving it a Diamond, and it'll produce all sorts of gems, but it can't be killed and fires Thermo Fragments, hot as Lava.
If you can tame an entire fucking leviathan, then the devs would have to make diamonds rare as. There has to be some drawbacks
@@ryukrants7975 then how about no firing and there is only 1 egg to hatch and you have to hatch and tame before it destroys your base and it can't survive above the red Crystal Caverns?
@@samurexatlas7373 now that is more like it
3:47 If I saw that thing in the void I would just end up dying from a heart attack
the frozen leviathan should have a breakout cinamatic and then after getting out fall in the water and get kiled by snowstalkers and shadow leviathans and the ice worm
I have never seen this suggested, but I would love some kind of a boat or ship that moves faster than the submarines but lacks diving capabilities. It would also be cool to have some kind of a creature to drag the boat under, sort of like a Kraken.
04:00 are those clicker noises?
Far from it
A leviathan that is most related to the frozen leviathan, can walk on land and swim in water.
1:28
*You really wants that we have a heart attack don't you*
The return of the Reefbacks and Sea Treaders,
And you can build on them,
Like build a base on top of the reefbacks
And on the flat surface of Sea Treader,
For example a walking base, which is a base on a sea treader,
:)
The Spiner 2.0v it can be a mythic that can be spotted at the middle of the deadzone. It can be scary.
Something that ill like is an special animation if you go too deep into the void
Like you are a shit ton of meters away, and all of the sudden an animation plays where you see a ghost leviathan being dragged by some tentacles deep into the void then they grab you, and also pull you in, killing your flashlight any other source of light you have in the process so you cant see what dragged you in
Here is it an idea
[The Void Leviathan]or[Leviathan Zilla]
Size: only 20 meters longer and taller than the Titan (I like to imagine that it would the Titan leviathans rival)
Looks: a Kraken like Fusion between the Dragon Leviathan and the ghost Leviathan
Location: the void where it would compete with the Titan for food and survival (it would of course feed on ghost leviathans)
Abilities: EMP roars, long grasping tentacles, bioluminescence, *NOPE* glow-in-the-dark eyes, and suction
The thumbnail looks crazy, we need a ghost leviathan style gargantuan leviathan
The ecological dead zone being more fleshed out would make my day. The idea was just to keep people in the main map with ghost leviathans, but what if there were even BIGGER monsters out there? Maybe the apex predator in the lost river biome has a sibling that is still alive? Maybe there’s something EVEN MORE massive out there.
