- In this video I want to show you All Leviathan & Deadly Creature In Subnautica Below Zero.
For deadly creature based on my thought, there's some creatures in Subnautica Below Zero I didn't add in deadly creature because they are small or cute for me.
I hope this video can give useful information about All Leviathans & Deadly Creature In Subnautica Below Zero.
I played Subnautica Below Zero before playing Subnautica.
After finish Subnautica Below Zero I found most creatures in Below Zero different from Subnautica.
I feel still not complete if I haven't seen all the creatures in Subnautica series so I decided to play Subnautica too.

The reason why subnatica is more scary than below zero is because below zero gives you missions and holds you back from going to the deap but subnatica they don’t tell you anything and you gotta be find stuff on your own in the dark
Its also that subnautica had way more and more scarier creatures do
In subnatica you were surrounded by water and you didn't know what was where while in below 0 the map just feels smaller and more bland because of the land part

What I find terrifying about the Void Chelicerate is just how... _dead_ they look.
They haven't seen sunlight in what looks like decades, their eyes look they'd be extra sensitive to light, and their shells appear to be decaying and rotten.
And are they bigger? I know oceanic gigantism is a thing but these things are HUGE compared to a normal Chelicerate. But something about the Void Cheli's makes them almost diseased and rabid...
Honestly the lack of information on the void chelicerates is disappointing. I was always under the impression that due to lack of constant source of food, they more often then not try to eat one another, and i would assume it's like a whispering death where its eyes are adapted to its environment so it explains why they refuse to follow you above 300 meters besides just reaching the dead zone
The developer's purpose make void chelicerates to make the player stay on the map or die

The Void Chelicerate is infinitely more terrifying than regular Chelicerate.

There’s only one thing to add and it would’ve been perfect. Although it’s meant just to scare you back onto the map, they should’ve instead made it like the regular Chelicerate in one respect. It should have a death cutscene when your health gets too low. If it’s only one Void Chelicerate, it should swallow you whole like the regular Chelicerate does. But if you’re being attacked by two or three, they should grab a piece of you and tear you apart between them. Now that would’ve made the game more graphic, but in the case of pack animals killing I think it would be justified. I don’t really want the Subnautica games to turn into a bloodbath. The horror is more in the environment, the feeling of claustrophobia it makes you feel with the fiercer creatures.
I hope Subnautica 3 has a larger map, more biomes, greater storyline, more adventure, a greater number of creatures and bigger leviathans.
I hope the story continues from Below Zero I want see creature from Al-An planet

Cryptosucus is all bark no bite. You can one shot it by hitting it with your ship sometimes.
With one knife whack I've had them run farther than I cared to chase them too. Just kind of a pushover.

The shadow leviathan is large at 60 meters. But, the Reaper is 5 meters shorter... I know that 5 meters is taller than my living room but still, something is going on.

The reaper is pure primal and chaotic fear caused by it's loud roar and grotesque features, while the shadow is just ominous and fascinating, it also gives that feeling of something being dreadfully off but not understanding what is it

Might sound strange but in fact my favouirte subnautica below zero creature has to be the squidshark, like, I really like its desing, plus, it's killing animations are pretty creepy

The scary thing is, the frozen leviathan is in a coma to survive the virus.

I love how you can see the evolution in the creatures (especially in the thumbnail). Like for instance the chelicerate, cryptosucus and brute shark all clearly evolved from a commen ancestor. They all have large beaks, split into four pieces and have large armour plating (the brute shark is clearly the furthered from this formula but its also the smallest and didn't need alot of the armour the other two have), While the ice worm and the shadow leviathan seem to have split of long ago, one going to land and the other to the bottom of the ocean (they both have the same general head shape and long snake like bodies). The squid shark is very different but the crazy jaw is somewhat reminiscent of the chelicarate so maybe it too is a part of the family. This attention to detail in a games creatures is what makes me love subnautica so much.

I’m just gonna say this the chelicerate is the more scary version of the reaper to me because of the opening mouth because I could like… run away from reapers most of the time and now I’m just stuck with these extra crab lookin nightmares.
It seems Chelicerate grab things with bite more faster & accurate than Reaper

Ah, rock puncher. A suped up mantis shrimp... that's horrifying to fight. Mantis shrimp irl on their own are impressive, but plus human sized? Without exaggeration, that gives them enough power to launch a baseball into orbit. Those Edward bowling ball hands WILL destroy anything in a single punch. It'll be like taking one of the U.S's most impressive cannons from their destroyer navel ships, and getting shot by it. Nope. No way. Nah uh. I choose life.

I imagine the void chelicerates hunt ghost leviathans in the void, as it says that only leviathans and microscopic organisms can live there, the ghist leviathans eat the microbes, and the chelicerates and any other leviathan that wanders into the void hunt the ghost leviathans. My theory is that the void chelicerate is a species of chelicerate that adapted to thrive in the void, rather than wandering in and out like the ordinary chelicerate.
I think the purpose developer make void chelicerates is to make players who exit too far from game map to return immediately or die
@@revxgaming7 I think they intended to give it a better understanding on why it looks and acts the way it does biologically as if it was a real living creature that actually needed to hunt for food to live.

Gonna say I admire the original Subnautica creatures more.
None of these really inspire fear like the reaper could. I suspect they will never be able to recapture that again... unless they bring it back in the next game.
In the next game we should be able to explore the Void and go even deeper to a new place known as...the Abyss. And in there we might see Abyssal Reapers who are even more aggressive and larger than the regular reapers, their body rotting due to the effects of the Abyss yet being capable of charging at deceivingly high speeds

cryptusuchus is my favorite character of all subnautica games because he reminds me of one of the creatures from the movie Avatar
Is it just me or does the Ice worm look like it would be easy to kill? It pops up and sits there to attack, it seems like one could just hide to its side and slash away.

The Below Zero leviathans were neat, though they didn’t deliver such an impact as the first game.
But even the first Subnautica had its quirks. Everyone talks about how the Reaper is scary, and while that may be true, it’s easy to avoid after spending enough time around them. At that point, there’s no reason to use silent running for the cyclops. In the next Subnautica game, they should enhance the leviathan AI to where it moves to different locations w/ different swim patterns to make them truly unpredictable. This would make the sonar and silent running features even more useful.

I found out a way to avoid Leviathan attacks for your vehicle as soon as you see one immediately get off your sea truck and leviathan will past you without attacking your sea truck this only works if you have modules and only works in below zero

I've been loving below zero but idk man I still feel like the original game had me sitting in the safe shallows for 40 minutes to an hour just out of pure fear and not to mention in my opinion base games music slaps🤣🤣🤣

I really don't like the design of cryptosuchos I like how it thrashes about in the water and has scared me numerous times while passing one because of the noise, but it just looks silly with all the plates and it's color looks like it was dipped into oil

I got a cherlicerate under my main base and one in the crystal caves and it’s so buggy I had to clip out of bounds and kill them with my prawn suit

Not because they’re terrifying. They are, to a degree. But because they’re so fucking annoying. I have no idea how to counter them. The upgrade for the bike doesn’t seem to do much. And the bastards love to knock me off of it.
