  • Al-Hakim is the most infamous of the Shia Fatimid caliphs and known as a mad tyrant to some and as an almost saint like ruler to others, this video will explain why he is much more complex than these two simplistic views.

your choice of words for this video's title is not good

@@BOSS-AI-20 Well I tried to kind of be catching and descriptive at the same time. As I wanted to discuss his history from a less propagandized lens (he was not mad, rather just having to react to a rather difficult situation), which I think has been largely the case before.

Cool idea having a mask talk! I like the way this was presented. You have a talent at documentaries. I hope you keep at it. With new a.i. programs out there you can probably start having it do animations for you soon enough. They have those apps that will draw whatever you type in but I don't know how that would work out yet. I use memes! So your still way ahead of me

Thank you, and I do indeed plan to make more videos like this one. I have already began to use some AI generated content and it is a field I am looking into with great interest.

Hey my friend great video, i’m Druze, but we don’t believe that Al-Hakim was god, everybody that’s not druze thinks that druze believe that Al-Hakim is god but it is not, and it is haram and shirk, Al-Hakim is not god but he wasn’t a normal human being, a normal druze wouldn’t give you the answer, only our big sheikhs can give you an answer, but he was no god and it’s not even a topic in the druze community whether he’s god or not we all believe that he wasn’t god, anyway brother amazing video you made!👏

Yes, the accusations of Ismailis and Druze seeing al-Hakim as being a god is just wrong and pure propaganda. And I am glad you liked this video.

He was like seeing the reflection of the light off of a mirror, but he wasn't the source of that light. The writer who put down his story is one of great importance. I'm an American. That's the way I understand it. It's more like an equation. There is like an antecedent and then a following body to match it, and then the result of the mix. Then two more things that I won't even bore you with. There are five points on the druze star and while Hakim is used to represent a holy point I think he is just one symbol going on in the whole philosophy at this point that is based out of Islamic accounts of science AND LOVERS OF ISLAMIC HISTORY!! It's very similar to an Islamic version of Pythagoras or Socrates as an Islamic sect. People who don't want to educate themselves choose up until this day to write him off lazily while devaluing and throwing out more insight about their own history. Good job man. Good documentary. I like how you pointed out the fact that he made Egypt the learning capital of Islamic universities which was the reason it lasted 1000 years. How can islamics hate themselves by hating the druze? It is crazy to me. I don't think anyone actually hates the druze but isis. Islamic people are nice and loving and would not hate their own people because they love philosophy and educate themselves in order to understand the Koran further. It is more perfect than anyone realizes in that regard as it has such a rich diverse history that nobody really understands from the outside. The druze feel that a historic account of this time period was very important to remember for some reason. It may be because it pivoted Islam into a period of higher learning but I am not a high mountain sheik! Maybe one day if I make a great journey and learn more! It is really complex Ismaili ideas on mathmatics and physics and all world religion put into an Ismaili ethnic context. The druze do not think they are special or above the prophets from the angels. They are followers of the muwahadeen.

@@ZeeHilal Yes, Hakim and his legacy has been very underrated due to various reasons and he did lay the foundation for one of the great legacies of Islamic civilization. I am glad that it was appreciated as spreading some light upon this legacy was one of the reasons as to why I made this video.
