It's a 2007 if that makes you feel better. Everything still works except the fuel sending unit. I have a 2002 as well. And runs very well. I take care of my vehicles. Full synthetic oil changes at 6k . Tune ups at 80k and replace wearable items when they are needed. They are replaced with OEM parts as well. As an automotive ASE service technician with over 10 years experience in bumper to bumper repairs on all makes and models... I can tell you every vehicle fails. Every vehicle brakes, including Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, Landrover, BMW etc etc. But.. I do have 4 customers that have over 400k miles on their GM LS series engine that have never had the heads off. I serviced them personally since new. After 07... I would not recommend a D.O.D. I.C.E from GM at all unless you get a manual transmission because this eliminates the D.O.D. otherwise known as active fuel management.
@@NBC_NCO Good deal man. I love old GM products. They seem to last forever and when they break it's cheap to fix. Seems like something always needs fixing on them but they will always get you where you're going. I have a 97,02,06, and two 09s. None have active fuel management and one of the 09 is my cobalt SS. Love all of them.
I got an old Mustang that refuses to die, and I'm happy about that, because if it dies I am not going to be able to afford something that fun. GMs seem to have less common issues, though. Good chunk of the electronics have stopped working by now
It is time to replace the fuel sending unit.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN THIS MAN HAS INVENTED THE SELF-FILLING CAR 😂😂😂😂😂
my gas gauge must be synced to the crankshaft because it just spins at 2k rpm
We are in a similar situation.
At least we don't find ourselves firing up the diesel generator to charge the car battery.
Alright, that’s better than solar energy generation for an EV at my home. 😂
lol the car is refining its own gas XD
That has to be a GM of some sort. A GM product runs like shit longer than most cars run. Older GMs specifically.
