Wow! I just found your channel. Great content on modifying all kinds of stuff. I have been collecting and modifying toy grade RC cars to semi-hobby grade. Started doing this COVID-time. Just like you said in this video, I see something I like modified it and likely no one else has something like it. It really started b/c we wanted to race multiple cars in the garage 😊. There are a few cars not available in 1/24 that I want and found them in slot cars. How easy is it to convert slot to RC? Would I need a 3D printer?

As a former automotive service technician, I promise you... I was not concerned about the amount of lubricant applied to anything on your vehicle. Here is your new part... does it work? Yes. Pay the money owed and out the door you go. But when it comes to my own personal vehicles, I take the extra time and effort to make sure the parts I install last the longest. I've owned this particular vehicle since it was new, and this is the very first window regulator repair I've done on the driver front door. O.E.M parts are the best until they are no longer available. I do not recommend adding grease and or lubricant of any type if you live in a very dusty environment such as a long Gravel Road or you like to go out 4 x 4ing in the Sands of Arizona.The lube will attract and collect dirt...and becomes a type of sandpaper.

And the future home owner will paint it in white latex paint.

The reason why this works so well is because... As the foam is expanding, it creates a skin that is semi-dry. Therefore, it's less sticky when it comes into contact with a secondary object.
