Ok I'm confused with the Texture Optimization Project mod, it says both parts of "Base File 0.18" is out, but on the description below it says "Clean install, DO NOT use any of the previous versions before 0.18" but when Install them both it says "Download ALL the update releases". Help please because I don't want to break my game?
Just a quick question; I don't see the mod listed in activated plugins in NMM, is this because they simply replace textures, or should I do a re-install of the mod?

The file downloaded as a RAR file and it wasn't even a folder just one file and i have no idea why. I put it in my data folder just to see if it will still work and nothing changes. I have tried re downloading this file but it stays in the same format and it is agian not the folder. What is happening?
+LordSilverGame Yes, it downloads as a .rar since it's a compressed file. Inside will be a folder called textures. if it's not in there then you possibly downloaded the wrong file. The current version is 0.11 and it's approx 844,490kb in size. There is another 0.11 version that's a hotfix, possibly you downloaded that one?

If you already have either of those programs downloaded, you need to click Open With ... then find where the program you downloaded is located. Typically on C:\Program Files\WinZip ... after you've gone there just select the .exe for it and the .rar file will open with the program and any future .rars

Most texture mods aim to replace all the textures in the game, so if you have one texture mod installed and you try to install Texture Optimization Project, the installation process will prompt you if you'd like to move, replace or keep both files in the same folder and most of the time you can choose replace your first texture mods files with T.O.Ps files I believe T.O.P fixes every texture so yes, walls, trees and other stuff like cars, bridges and sign posts for example.. TL;DR - There will typically always be interference with texture replacing mods.

Maby i should instal the texture optimization mod FIRST. and then overwrite those optimization texture's with the mod texture's. +ImMRB - DayZ Standalone If you're running steam, you'd need to delete them have steam check integrity for files because you're deleted all of the textures almost. If you aren't running steam, then I'm not sure.
Did you actually make the bsa file from the downloaded files and try to use that bsa instead of the vanilla bsa? That should work because the crack doesn't mess with the textures or vice versa. I'm going to try it. i'll post back if i can get it working.

+Ulysses101 Hi, I did not create this mod, Torcher on Nexus Mods did :) This is very odd because someone else in the comments is having a similar issue. I have no idea why you guys are getting this issue whatsoever. Try using a different extraction program, I used Winzip and it worked just fine.

It's not showing up in my NMM Plugins so I don't think so."Fallout4.esm" is the only thing that's there.
