7 years later and I’m still loving it 💯
This just gave me life!!! When I first heard this song, I was divorced, living alone for the first time in my life, still in the small town I grew up in, and depressed. I always wanted to be a flight attendant. The part where he said “my prediction, I’m going to be on top of the world!!” Well, I got out of that small town and I’m now a flight attendant for a major airline. I hope they know how much this song encouraged me and so many others!!!
I can totally relate to what you said!!!! They totally gave me life again musically, as I am a 64 year old man who watched so many iconic groups and musicians with either the artists passing away or the songs are so overplayed I can't listen to them anymore. But these guys brought my joy of music alive in such a powerful way! I am absolutely hooked on them and their music, and am waiting patiently for new releases (date of this post 12/21/23) by them, maybe even a new LP or album! I would be delirious with joy. The last release by them at the time of this post was "Forever" in March '23.
