This song reminds me of the pain that was caused to me by my ex-gf who I saw my entire future with, I saw myself getting married, having children with her, living a life full of adventures and growing old with her, but then one day she just gave up on me because her backwards Pakistani family made her choose between me and them all because I wasn't from the same race as her (I'm Yemeni Arab/Bangladeshi) in the end she left me, and I fell into depression for over a year, and at the time I thought I would never move on from her and that I will never love someone else as much as I did her, fast forward 13 years I'm now happily married to my actual love of my life, I have been married for 7 years now and we have 2 daughters together and we have built a amazing life together and have had so many adventures together, everything I wanted with my ex I got that and more with my wife and kids, so I just want to pass on this message to all those who have come out of a relationship heart broken, it does get better, don't give up on love, the right person will come along and you'll realise how wrong you was about the previous relationship and that the right person is out there somewhere for you.
@Free Spirit I think a major reason for that is they are so absorbed in the 'Present' that they cannot see beyond that point and what is waiting for them in the future, they allow what's happened or happining to them right now to tell them that this is and was it, there is nothing beyond this point, but we all know if you allow yourself some time to heal your wounds first, you can come out of the other end a better and stronger person, someone deserving of love and you have to put yourself back out there in the world and let others in without having this constant guard and barrier up from the hurt of your past, which stops a lot of people from moving on and finding love once again.
@@slasherrr Thank you, in my experience from what I've observed is the opposite, those who first allowed themselves to heal their wounds and then put themselves out there and allowed others to come close to them without keeping the guard and barrier up constantly, eventually find themselves with the right person in their lives, I remember the year when I met my wife, I was complaining to a friend of mine that I'm a good person why have I not met the one and everyone around me is getting married and moving on with their lives and I turned around to my friends and said I'm not going to give up, I'm going to allow God to put the right person in my life and when it happens I will be ready and will give this person all my love, and literally that year I met my wife and my was perfect, it was like we was made for one another and we was both in the right places in our life and within 6 months of our initial meeting we was married, when you found the one you don't even have to waste years getting to know them because you both will know what it is you want and a lot of people were doubtful and thought it won't work and we was rushing but I kept telling them why wait when you know this is the one, fast forward 7 years and 2 kids later, we're still going strong by the grace of God 🙏🏽

This song reminds me of the pain that was caused to me by my ex-gf who I saw my entire future with, I saw myself getting married, having children with her, living a life full of adventures and growing old with her, but then one day she just gave up on me because her backwards Pakistani family made her choose between me and them all because I wasn't from the same race as her (I'm Yemeni Arab/Bangladeshi) in the end she left me, and I fell into depression for over a year, and at the time I thought I would never move on from her and that I will never love someone else as much as I did her, fast forward 13 years I'm now happily married to my actual love of my life, I have been married for 7 years now and we have 2 daughters together and we have built a amazing life together and have had so many adventures together, everything I wanted with my ex I got that and more with my wife and kids, so I just want to pass on this message to all those who have come out of a relationship heart broken, it does get better, don't give up on love, the right person will come along and you'll realise how wrong you was about the previous relationship and that the right person is out there somewhere for you.

@Free Spirit I think a major reason for that is they are so absorbed in the 'Present' that they cannot see beyond that point and what is waiting for them in the future, they allow what's happened or happining to them right now to tell them that this is and was it, there is nothing beyond this point, but we all know if you allow yourself some time to heal your wounds first, you can come out of the other end a better and stronger person, someone deserving of love and you have to put yourself back out there in the world and let others in without having this constant guard and barrier up from the hurt of your past, which stops a lot of people from moving on and finding love once again.
@@slasherrr Thank you, in my experience from what I've observed is the opposite, those who first allowed themselves to heal their wounds and then put themselves out there and allowed others to come close to them without keeping the guard and barrier up constantly, eventually find themselves with the right person in their lives, I remember the year when I met my wife, I was complaining to a friend of mine that I'm a good person why have I not met the one and everyone around me is getting married and moving on with their lives and I turned around to my friends and said I'm not going to give up, I'm going to allow God to put the right person in my life and when it happens I will be ready and will give this person all my love, and literally that year I met my wife and my was perfect, it was like we was made for one another and we was both in the right places in our life and within 6 months of our initial meeting we was married, when you found the one you don't even have to waste years getting to know them because you both will know what it is you want and a lot of people were doubtful and thought it won't work and we was rushing but I kept telling them why wait when you know this is the one, fast forward 7 years and 2 kids later, we're still going strong by the grace of God 🙏🏽
