Thank you so much for this video, like you said, it’s not easy to find information about how architecture is taught in Japan. I recently graduated as an architect in Mexico City, I would love to study a masters degree in Japan and it was a surprise for me to see that architecture and engineering are combined, usually in Mexico and some other countries in America, they are separated and different studies.
Hey... Esto va a ser muy random. Pero yo también soy arquitecta de cdmx. Quiero aplicar a la maestría en Japón. Ha sido un proceso confuso. Si te interesa ponernos en contacto para apoyarnos en este proceso escríbeme
Thank you so much for this video. It is quite hard understanding how education works in other countries. Do you think you could make a video about how masters on architect is like in Japan and the application process? Also about what is expected of you when you first reach out to your housed advisor and how long before application you should do this... I have so many questions a none else to ask. Thank you

Hi , thanks for the video it was really helpful, but I'm still a little confused, do we contact professors first then they offer us their projects that they want to work on? , or do we search for the projects then contact the professor to apply ?

Hello. I am based in the philippines, i graduated civil engineering and focused on structural engineering as my profession, i also worked in tokyo as a structural engineer back in 2011. During the COVID pandemic, i enrolled in architecture school. I am surprised to know that structural engineering and architecture are taught in japan as a single degree. May i know What is the reason for this? Thank you very much.
Thanks for the video.
While I am not an architecture student, I find it fascinating and university life in Japan also interests me alot👌.
