This family is so deserving. When you have a special needs child, it is overwhelming but very rewarding at the same time. You learn how to adapt to helping your child get the right tools to become as independent as they can be. I have a grandson who is ADHD, has an anxiety disorder plus Autism. He was not diagnosed with Autism until he was about 10 years of age. Fortunately he is at the high end of the Autistic Spectrum, yet still faces many challenges. He is a freshman this school year, has moved to a different state, has to make new friends which is difficult for him. He also, has always spent the summer with us and was not able to this year because of the move and getting him acclimated to the area he now lives in. He did not understand why he couldn't be here. He is struggling to fit in. Change is hard for anybody but especially for kids with special needs.
Guess what they're many families of color with ancestors brought by force that could use help as well. Most of us aren't even allowed to live or purchase homes in areas of the northeast you continually focus your programs
This is by far THE BEST interior decorating of all the rescues !!!! The basement was perfect to meet Mason's needs. Just a perfect rescue George for a wonderful young family!
How absolutely amazing, and such a wonderful family, I’m so very glad you were able to help with more than just the basement. It was clear that the family were all about being there for their beautiful young sons, and the home had taken a bit of a back seat. But now they can carry on being the wonderful parents they are without having to worry about space for there sons to grow, and other renovations the home needed. I wish them well for a bright future xxxxx

I have watched 4 of your videos now and really love the transformations. The only thing I thought might be adjusted in this one was how dark the basement and kitchen ended up being. I love contrasting colors, they add depth and dimension to a space; yet sometimes too much dark color "swallows" up the space. George, you are doing really good things here! Keep paying it forward!
I love George to the Rescue. Where I live it doesn't air until the middle of the night like at 3-4 a.m. on Saturdays if we are lucky. There are times they cut off the end of the show. I have had to get on here so I can watch the whole episode.
I accidentally found this show cause I fall in love with house makeover these days. Then I binge watching it and found this Tyler guy in some episodes, just, he's hilarious. hahaha. And also, such a good heart you have, George.
I really love the parents room it's super cute with the darker blue and pastel pink even though my colors are sapphire blue and purple which my husband loves and if done right he might enjoy in the bedroom cause we were actually going to do those colors but in pastels in the kitchen but now we're having to move so I can't enjoy anything like that
Wow I wish someone would do my house but I live in Scotland. I had a quadruple bypass and now have nerve damage, it will never get better and looks like we may have to move house to make it easier. Its hard my husband family have been in this house 50 year and I dont want to move but its bedroom etc is upstairs and stairs are hard for me. I dread when it gets worse and we have to move
Personally I HATE the dark walls cabinets... if someone did that without asking what colors I like/don't like, I'd insist it be changed if I didn't like their color choices... that being said I like the show, and I like the toys they got the boys...

I would agree. The kitchen wasnt that big. Dark wood seems to be much more favoured in the US than here in the UK.

Obviously because they were past saving. If you actually look at the state of the timber you'd see that it was falling apart.
@@alisonshanahan9529 In alot of the shows they throw away counter tops, cubboards that are good, windows, doors, etc. Things that could be recycled.
They do pass on anything that isnt totally shot.
