I was in the market for the 2024 Colorado and 2024 Tacoma. I really like the Colorado in terms of interior and power. They have more bang for your buck. However, after doing some research i decided on the Tacoma. Reason why i went with Tacoma was the fact their engine block is cast iron verses the Colorado aluminum block with steel sleeves. The Colorado has a higher turbo boost which is a lot of strain on the engine. The Tacoma also have a more rigid and strong frame verses the Colorado. The engine on the Tacoma is over built and detuned making the engine over engineered. Main reason why I went with Tacoma, all my research came to reliability on the Tacoma. Just basically over built verses the Colorado cheaper built with added bells and whistles.
2024 Tacoma had two issues 1 switching between2 wheel to 4 wheel, what was the cause and what’s the fix? 2. The axel or a gear snapped.what broke and what’s the fix?
I purchased a 2024 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and I'm loving it so far. I figure you buy what you want and I'll do the same. If you want to purchase something different from me, that's fantastic. I can live with any consequences that come with my truck buying decision as I'm sure you can as well. Enjoy what you purchase and I'll do the same. See you on the road.
Man. They both look good,,,but that Colorado…GM nailed the styling.

Should do the comparison with a Trail Boss.
I agree. They do have the Bison version as well
@@randolphharrisjrZR2 is cheaper than the Bison.

TFL has a great follow up video on what happened to their truck if that's what you are referring to.
Is their any other known issues. I’m considering getting a’24 or should I wait for ‘25
Get 23 with the V6
24 built after may or 25
Price wise the better comparison wouldn’t been with the ZR2 Colorado

Screen in Taco looks like someone glued their Ipad to the dash. Poor design.
No truck with 20” wheels should be anywhere except on the pavement, and it won’t be very comfortable there.
Hands down Taco. THIS is a Z-71? Those wheels are Hideous!
