To those who are saying it is too small, go try it out. the LUG to LUG spacing is 47mm, so it will fit most of the wrist unless your wrist is a tree trunk
Thanks for watching! The sub second hand does not have a stop function. This is similar to the other El Primero calibers in this line. Hope that helps!
Hi Derek, thanks for the reply. Really like the look of the watch. It's ok not to have stop sec hand function for a dress watches, but, for a sport watch, it's certainly preferred, more so, a chronograph. Anyway, that's just my criteria - high performance precision. It would still sell. Cheers!
Hey Canon great points!! Can't blame you for wanting high performance precision in your timepiece. I am aware that the new El Primero has a stop second but most of the traditional chronographs do not including the Speedmaster Moonwatch. Personally, it hasn't particularly bothered me because when I use my Moonwatch I'm more concerned with the chrono function than the timekeeping. I would keep the original El Primero in that same kind of mindset.
Hi Derek, good to know that the new el primero has a stop sec hand function. Also running at 5 hz? Yes, chrono function is just as important. My new Crown seiko reissue, srq031, with their unique 3 pointed hammer and heart-shaped cam allows for a perfect synchronization of the hand's flyback function at pin-point. It's also nice to see the chrono sec hand sync with the sub sec hand for precision. Also, it's accurate to 2 spd. It's not comparable to my 50 jewels Jade Dragon sbgc207, but, at less than 3k, it's half the price of the dragon, and, it does have Zaratsu finishing. The soft fine cordovan strap is a surprise bonus. Despite the size, it looks and wear compact. No wonder people are already selling at mark-up prices. Cheers. 😁
Thanks for watching! No clue why other channels haven't talked about the 50th Anniversary El Primero A384 revival... Its a great watch. Hope you enjoyed!

This watch is built to run at the hi beat frequency and if we consider that the hi beat chronograph is running everyday for five years, it should still be running, although Zenith would recommend the watch be sent in for maintenance by that time. Five years is about average for when a typical non-hi beat watch should be serviced as well as recommended by the watch manufacturers.
I dunno, for me Zenith has been making bad design decisions, all that openworked stuff, the tricoloring, everything but an elegant, minimalistic steel sporty dress chronograph the kinf they used to make

I need to have a hands-on look at this one. 37 seems too small, but it really seems pretty substantial from what I can see.
Nice review of a special watch.
Agree about the amazing ladder bracelet.
If only it was a no date.
Beautiful Timepiece
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderdull. Hopefully the ad 5bar and made a regular panda. Might be a perfect watch.
Would love to know how much the bracelet goes for. Thanks
Will have full details soon!
$384 Because it is 50th anniversary for A384
When will the ladder bracelet be released?
Love this piece.
It’s a winner!
What a beauty 😍
Very nice. Does the sub second hand has a stop function?

@@canonyeo4286 Yes the new El Primero will run at 5hz / 36,000 vph. Nice pick up with the SRQ031!

@@MinuteMon Wait, Its written NY in your website.
I don’t have much knowledge about Zenith. Do ADs offer discounts ?
I think so since they dont sell like rolex even though they're way more exclusive
How reliable is this movement and does it need more frequent servicing due to the nature of the higher frequency bph?

I owned 4 Zenith El Primero watches and got only trouble with this sensitive movement and this bracelet is ridiculous

Total click bait. Not one image with ladder bracelet. The whole video it's on leather.
Perfect watch if there is one! Once you learn how to pronounce "tachymeter" you'll be cooking with gas!
Haha! Thanks for watching, I will start practicing now for the next one
