When Teddy says they have dedicated customer support, he truly means it. My experience dealing with their support team has been better than that of any company I've dealt with in the last decade.
I just got this watch, it’s simply amazing. The ladder bracelet…….it’s kind of an acquired taste, I initially had many doubts, but once you try it’s no way back, its so comfortable, light and yet solid and well executed. What I really love is the uniqueness of this watch, including the date window-so different from others. Incomparable, as Teddy rightly said.
I have an A385 on a ladder bracelet. I wasn’t particularly into bracelets before I bought this watch and assumed I would replace that quickly. That still hasn’t happened. It’s fabulous. It is built like a true vintage bracelet and in that regard, they made no compromise, it’s very comfortable and looks great.
This is my grail. I have four watches in my collection and this I want to be my fifth and final. My other watches are - Rolex Explorer, Cartier Tank, Seiko Tuna Marinemaster, full metal G-Shock.
Hi Teddy, I'm considering to buy a Zenith EP. Need your advise : Revival, Shadow or Open . I love all 3 but can only to buy one of the 3. Please advise which one to go for as an 'investment' & long term keep . Thanks
I wonder why the wrist shots are only for the large... I saw the shadow version on Teddy's wrist and looked ok, but in the video the reference to the watch wearing larger than the numbers suggest made me wonder on the lack of the wrist shot on the 6.25in. I was looking for it. Anyway, the video is superb as always, thank you.
@@sequoianagamatsu1402a person with a wrist as large as 7.5” can easily wear this watch. That said, it helps to be tuned into how vintage watches fit, which means the lugs don’t need to go to the very edge of your wrist. I went back and watched the video, I was getting ready to leave the house the first time. The video showing the close up on the larger wrist isn’t accurate to how it actually looks in practice. That’s a very strong angle and it’s a bit of a distortion. That’s probably a slightly wide angle lens and they are right on top of it, that makes for a strange optical effect.
What I don‘t think is well done here: You‘re saying it looks good at almost all wrists, but the largest ones and then you‘re showing it on a guy with a 19,4 cm wrist (where it indeed looks too small imo). Not ideal. Apart from that; good stuff 👍🏻
That video does not do it justice in my opinion. That’s not how the watch is going to be viewed in actuality. They’ve got a what looks like a normal to possibly wide angle lens right on top of it, optically, it creates a strange effect that isn’ accurate. I’ve got an almost 7.5” wrist and an A385, no problem.
My favorite watch!!! there is a version, a very funny one, that the dial is split in diagonal with an inversed panda colour pattern. But, a bit far away of my wallet reach...
Sorry to go against all the fanboys out there, but this is an odd (not in a good way) looking watch. If sleeper pick means very few people want it, I have to agree.
With the exception of the clasp which is really poorly executed and feel and look very cheap! Everything else is perfect. My favourite chronograph despite I own a trio of legendary chronographs in the Swiss watch sphere; the Speedmaster 1861, Breitling Navitimer BO1, and Daytona.
"Still manages 5ATM" i know u are a retailer. But please don't give me those semantics. U should know 5 ATM is plain and simple lazy. No matter if screw down or not and easy in this day and age to give at least a 10ATM.

I have met him in person, and he is such a decent person too. Someone you’d definitely trust.

Could've got a nearly identical Sugess and Forstner ladder bracelet and saved 10k 😂
I just love the Zenith brand. They have a style that is quite unique to others in the genre. The A386 is on my list. So elegant with a vintage vibe.
I really like the A3817 with the tri-color sub dials.
Own it and love it. A collectible piece. Wears great on the wrist.
Happy to know more about ZENITH and this chronograph . I don't know that the movment (calibre) El Primero was so old .
my daily watch, just simply gorgeous
How do you co-op with that stamped clasp? I just had it on and loved it instantly but the claps was a huge let-down...
@@Qadi90 it feels more vintage and I love it. I simply love this watch, I will never sell it for sure.
Thanks. I think I would do it unjust if I tried to replace the clasp with something else (more robust). Therefore, I might have to skip.
Great looking revival, glad you shared this wonderful piece
One of my all time favorites ❤
I own the brown one and absolutely love it! The bracelet was made by GayFrères the original producer with the same specifications. Very cool!
What a unique beauty!
Very nice apart from the clasp and a price that's well out of my comfort zone.
This is my grail. I have four watches in my collection and this I want to be my fifth and final. My other watches are - Rolex Explorer, Cartier Tank, Seiko Tuna Marinemaster, full metal G-Shock.
great review teddy as always
At first glance I didn't like it because of the angular case, but on the wrist it's a real looker.
Love the revival….prefer the a3817 variant though….
Zenith is on bucket list!
I wish he would have shown it on a smaller wrist. It looks comically small on the 7.6 inch wrist.
It's a work of art, but I'd rank my Chronomaster A385 (the "Cappuccino") even higher, because of its perfect dial.
There is between an oris caliber 400 here and a cuervo y nephews the diver, which one do you like more and which one is better for you?

is case thicker than Daytona?
My grail watch
love the case and the red seconds look, a great vintage look the only thing is I'm just not a fan of the bracelet.
It’s way better in person and simply fits the watch. It’s period correct.

Agreed. On wrist shot only on the large wrist is a miss
Def looks too small for a larger wrist.

Friend of mine has this watch. Cool watch, but for the price bracelet feels very cheap. Still like zenith brand
Love the watch, hate how the bracelet looks. Wish they had a normal oyster bracelet. For now, it looks much better on leather.

Get the black titanium

lupin III final limited edition - the two halfs are actually 1st and 2nd editions respectively, only 250 pieces I recall
@@georgewang4276 there's on on chrono24 right now!
That date is such an eye sore
Why 50 meters only?? That can be a deal breaker for many....
Check out Casio Edifice 730D 10 bar
What a cute tiny watch ;)
the bracelet looks....
9 micro adjustments! Seiko must have seen that and thought "We'll do the opposite" :p
Stamped clasp? 🤨
5 ATM? 10K please.
Those 7.6 inch wrist shots are eiher useless @03:05 or fikin hilarious @03:09
wish i can still buy the Lupin version
There’s actually quite a number of them for sale in Japan if you go looking, all second hand of course but some in really good condition
