Bench & Snow Lakes - Mt. Rainier National Park 2024

We hiked Bench & Snow Lakes in Mt. Rainier National Park on Monday, August 5, 2024. We did have a timed reservation (7:00-9:00am) which is required to enter the park between 7am-3pm. We entered at the Nisqually Park entrance and it only took about 15 minutes to get it. We started this hike at 9:50am and had the most perfect weather.
This trail wasn't too crowded as there is limited parking at the trailhead. The trail is in good condition and easy to follow. Although Snow Lake is a tad further than Bench Lake, I would suggest logging the extra steps as it is a very serene lake , more blue in color, with a lot of areas to hang out and swim along the shoreline. The water was cold, as expected, but refreshing. It is a short hike but with rewarding views.
