- The Philosopher Falls walk has got to be the most magical rainforest walks in North West Tasmania. It's a beautiful walk through the cool tarkine temperate rainforest down a really easy track and was a magical area to explore. I cannot recommend it enough! I also hope you enjoy another walking ambience video with no muisc or talking.

Follow the historic mining water race along an easily accessible walking track that leads to a view of Philosopher Falls -named after the man who changed the fortunes of the entire state of Tasmania through his discovery of tin at Mt Bischoff, near Waratah. Just a ten kilometre drive out of Waratah, on the B23 road to Corinna, you will discover this stunning short walk that provides a glimpse into the wild and mysterious Tarkine rainforest.
Autumn is the best time to see the cartoon-like fungi dotted all along the track, but at any time of the year, this is an experience you don't want to leave off your bucket list. The Falls lookout is at the end of the 45-minute stroll into the forest (there is a stairway leading to the base of the falls), however even a short ten-minute walk in from the car park will reward you with a magical 'Alice in Wonderland' experience.

Wow this place with all that magnificent beauty, and especially the water and the bridge. This is not a once in a lifetime hike, that’s something that you have to come back again and again to see even more, take it in even more. Wonderful share!

This is a nice view video but it is way too slow
The end is disappointing, it should've gone to the bottom of the valley and had a wide area around the water base for people to bathe and picnic.

There’s actually a method to creating trails, and probably a reason it doesn’t go down to the valley. Things like this can disturb the environment and over time degrade the experience

Boring. I wish the photographer had at least paused and looked off to both sides and or discussed the plants or historical (native) significance of the falls.

My channel will never have talking but I'm happy to let you know the trail name and area if you'd like to do some research on the plants and history of this area?
