Thank you for having me it was great to be there. Apologies for whatever happened to my mic during recording. I’ll have to re-invite myself back for a high fidelity ass-kicking
@@3N3MYKN1GHTThat’s true. I think given the threats on the other side of the board (mostly Dylan), I would’ve agreed to let the ragavan through anyways to help find an answer and save the removal spell. I would’ve swords the Rograkh to help reduce sacrifice fodder
Since he started playing cedh in spike feeders wheeler is all over my feed and I have to say that I kinda love it. His gameplay and on camera persona are both super entertaining
i’m trying to get the homies at my LGS into cEDH… and i think this video will be the one to encourage them. hopefully they’ll be intrigued after watching it. will be driving down to my LGS later (in the evening) for FNM EDH. fingers crossed lol. i’m also about to finish my mono white cEDH Heliod stax deck, so excited to play it 🥳
Kinda surprised to see Satoru on the game. I have a deck for him myself but I never thought he’d be capable of punching up to comp. I gotta review that list.
In response to the Thassas oracle trigger that wins Dylan the game, Cam could have activated faerie Mastermind and forced everyone to draw a card, thus killing Dylan. Looks like he had enough mana for the activation and its not casting spells so it doesnt gets turned off by the flail.
Im gonna be that guy, when Cam ninjutsu-ed out the rat, he played 2 lands that turn. Maybe they mention it and I look stupid but I am gonna be that guy and stand by it
10:59 why get rid of kinnan when there is still a grafdigger’s cage on the field? Infinite colorless doesn’t do much also im not that familiar with kinnan’s list
Did cam play a second land for turn on turn 4? 6:31 time stamp for turn start. Played mana confluence in main phase 1, attacked, played then cracked a fetch main phase 2?
after brewing pantlaza since the card came out, i am so happy the decks getting recognition on this channel. is there a reason nate doesnt run gaea’s cradle?
Waittt could Cam have activated faerie mastermind with Thoracle’s trigger on the stack to make Dylan draw and lose? Is that 4 mana up on the bottom right? Either way great game!
jfc... Cam's very own Cursed Totem stopping him from killing Dylan in response to Thoracle. That's rough. That's a toughy. That's toughy mcrough stuff right there. Would've been such a funny way to stop him too!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but conqueror's flail only stops opponents from casting spells, not activating abilities right. Could Cam have activated faerie mastermind with Thassa's trigger on the stack to make Dylan lose the game?
It’s funny how much hate Faerie Mastermind gets, especially since it drew so many cards and COULD HAVE stopped the win and killed Dylan with its activated ability.
I was always under the impression that with DC you had to name something in your commander’s identity… I don’t know where that came from, must be Chinese whispers
Satoru Umezawa is one of those commander options i wish i could say is popular by sites like EDHREC because they take casual play into account and it's more "popular to build" rather than "popular to play" but the number one dimir commander option is literally one of the top tier competitive commander options. Satoru Umezawa feels like you wouldn't use any creatures that already have ninjitsu as the whole point of what he wants to do is attack someone with an unblockable 1/1 (of which there are many) including 1/1's that have flying so you can ninjitsu in a Blightsteel Colossus... That is not blocked and at that point can only be dealt with by a bounce spell or exile spell. Why your running ninjitsu creatures with Satoru Umezawa and seemingly not leaning on having creatures confuses me. Though i've not looked at the deck list(s).
My guess is because4 you have to play all the evasive 1/1s that don't do anything at all but allow you to trigger ninjitsu, you also run some ninjitsu creatures so that if your commander isn't in play your deck still does something rather than nothing. It's a pretty weak something and debatably not worth the slots but it does also obfuscate how bad taking a hit will be with some middle ground between 1 damage and losing the game.
Thank you for having me it was great to be there.
Apologies for whatever happened to my mic during recording. I’ll have to re-invite myself back for a high fidelity ass-kicking
This is my absolute favourite Cedh channel
1000% agree
same here lol
Thank you for having Ben, it's great to see him here.
That Swords 😂
Kinnan, notorious for abusing Trophy Mage’s ETB after it’s on the field
Limited teaches you to cast your spells,😂 but I understand swordsing the blocker to get the monkey in, perhaps flipping a a seedborne or one ring
BEN WHEELER?? I have NEVER clicked a video so fast
An absolutely beautiful man. Love his podcast - can't believe he didn't plug it!
made an incredibly undignified noise clicking on this
I admire the balls it takes to play Kinnan against the two guys with probably the most experience playing against Kinnan
you guys did such a good job keeping track of triggers this game, I'm honestly super impressed
Thanks for having Ben, it's great for him to be here
13:00 Nate swords'd the trophy mage to get rid of Wheeler's last blocker and get the Ragavan through to hopefully find something.
It's great to Ben here, thanks for having him.
@7:40 Cam plays an illegal Bloodstained Mire, as he already had dropped a Mana Confluence that turn
WHOOPS big accident
yo that cup clink at the beginning was clean
Ran to the comments to find this or make it myself after the clink
Highlight of the video… the rest was good too
Play to win is my favorite cEDH channel and Wheeler is my favorite person in the magic community. This goes so hard, made my day
So happy to see wheeler playing more cedh. One of my favorite people on the planet
THE BEN WHEELER ON PLAY TO WIN HOLY SHIT
Man, Cursed Totem totally killed Cam’s own shot at killing Dylan after the consultation resolution, right? Tough outcome
Thank you for having Wheeler, he's great to watch here.
"I cant be bothered. These cards have so many fuckin words on em..." Gave off some real letterkenny vibes 😂
I wish I can find people like cam and nate to play cedh with, this guys are pure love!!! thanks for the content
Be the cam and Nate you wanna see in the world. You'll attract people to match your vibe
@@shenronsgoldfish always try to!
"We lose to Kinnan next week"
I LOVE these little spoilers and fourth-wall narrative breaks
"Oh no, the competitively viable deck wins sometimes"
Wheeler had some wild pronunciations that game 😂
Since he started playing cedh in spike feeders wheeler is all over my feed and I have to say that I kinda love it. His gameplay and on camera persona are both super entertaining
Cam played second land around 7:45
My favourite cedh channel with one of my favourite mtg personalities
That was a wild game. How many cards were drawn off those draw engines 😲😲
"I hate Faeire Mastermind so much" *proceeds to draw three cards in one turn*
But his opponents drew 6 cumulatively
Also forgot it's ability to kill dylan after exileing his entire library
@@ZakuMichael well that totem was unfortunate..
Thank you for having him its great that hes being there
Yeahhhhhhhh future Kinnan guests must be very afraid 😂
Jesus Christ that mug *clink* intro was smooth 😂
I deadass watched that intro with the mugs like 10 times because the timing was so satisfying
Thanks for having Wheeler. It's great to see him here ;)
Thank you for having such good content, it's great to be here!
13:03 He wanted to get rid of the ragaavan’s blocker.
That begin cracked me up, so fucking hard
Is that 4 mana on Cams side with a Faerie Mastermind after Dylan exiled his entire library
Ah I see Wheeler is back on Kinnan after the recent spike feeders massacre
i’m trying to get the homies at my LGS into cEDH… and i think this video will be the one to encourage them. hopefully they’ll be intrigued after watching it.
will be driving down to my LGS later (in the evening) for FNM EDH. fingers crossed lol.
i’m also about to finish my mono white cEDH Heliod stax deck, so excited to play it 🥳
This is a helpful video. Thank you for the info on how to play textbook cedh grixis.
The funniest people of Commander gameplay playing a very serious game of commander.
Great game!
I love wheeler. It’s so fun to hear him curse! Love your content thanks guys!
Should be draw 3 cards instead of 2 (2 from Rhystic, 1 from Esper) at 6:58 ?
some of my favorite mtg creators in the same video!!! love to see it!!!!
Oh my god! 2 of my favorite content creators in one video! I have never liked a video so fast i my life
I love hat you guys are still doing the begins in different ways :)
Thank you for play to, it's great to win
Grandissimi veramente un game pazzesco!!! Bravi 👏🏻😎 grandi greatings from Ivrea/Italia
Kinda surprised to see Satoru on the game. I have a deck for him myself but I never thought he’d be capable of punching up to comp. I gotta review that list.
Ben Wheeler on play to win? My life will never be the same, this is amazing
where the hell do I get a copy of wheeler's playmat ITS SO GOOD!!!
In response to the Thassas oracle trigger that wins Dylan the game, Cam could have activated faerie Mastermind and forced everyone to draw a card, thus killing Dylan. Looks like he had enough mana for the activation and its not casting spells so it doesnt gets turned off by
the flail.
ahh; no. the cursed totem, sorry
Im gonna be that guy, when Cam ninjutsu-ed out the rat, he played 2 lands that turn. Maybe they mention it and I look stupid but I am gonna be that guy and stand by it
OOPS
It would be awesome to have a guest who is a magician so you could use the line "full time magic person" again.
2:20, you win Dylan, that's the best start in Grixis 😂
It would be really cool to have something to see how many cards each player has in hand
The name ninjas in Paris is too good. Had me rolling. 🤣🤣
This was a great game! Loved the Mindbreak Trap
Yoooo casting kinnan with a dork and then paying tax with a trop island was fire.
Never seen Dylan win before lol. Still new but im starting to like this channel a lot
10:59 why get rid of kinnan when there is still a grafdigger’s cage on the field? Infinite colorless doesn’t do much also im not that familiar with kinnan’s list
That intro song mug clink was fucking cleeeeean
That Saturo list looks sweet. I'm just going to throw in a Blightsteel Colossus purely for fun. Always got to have 1 questionable pet card :P
FINALLY BEN WHEELER
now i just need yall to play canadian highlander
Correct me if i'm wrong but couldn't came deck him out with faerie mastermind to prevent the thoracic win??
Dylan and Cam no what I love and want. MOAR DOGGO......LLLLLEEEEETTTTT'SSSS GOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did cam play a second land for turn on turn 4? 6:31 time stamp for turn start.
Played mana confluence in main phase 1, attacked, played then cracked a fetch main phase 2?
What a cool dude, I hear he is a full time Magic person
had so many laughs in this video, keep it up
after brewing pantlaza since the card came out, i am so happy the decks getting recognition on this channel.

Cursed Totem in play
Nooo big daddy wheeler lost his dad stache 😭😭😭 also peeping the semi normal "BEGIN" I thought I was high 😂
a full month late but.... HOLY MOLY BENJAMIN WHEELER, LETS GOOOO
it's maybe to late, but esper sentinel draw trigger is not a may
"you know what? fk it we ball"
God I love Cam's dog. ❤
That’s Dylan’s dog! JILL
Cam thought Faerie Mastermind was Lotho lmao
That click though!!!
Why didn’t cam make everyone draw a card with faerie masterminds ability after the demonic consultation resolved before thassa resolved?
I can only assume nate misread rograkh & cast swords on the trophy mage bc he wanted to get through with ragavan
The swords was just to clear the way for ragavan to get in
wow a wheeler!! more!!!
jfc... Cam's very own Cursed Totem stopping him from killing Dylan in response to Thoracle. That's rough. That's a toughy. That's toughy mcrough stuff right there. Would've been such a funny way to stop him too!
It’s great to see to here.
Ben's playmat is so cool!!!!!
Ohhhh dang! Wheeler on Play to Win???
This rhystic study card seems pretty good
Correct me if I'm wrong, but conqueror's flail only stops opponents from casting spells, not activating abilities right. Could Cam have activated faerie mastermind with Thassa's trigger on the stack to make Dylan lose the game?
Nevermind, cursed totem
It’s funny how much hate Faerie Mastermind gets, especially since it drew so many cards and COULD HAVE stopped the win and killed Dylan with its activated ability.
Not gonna lie you threw me off with the "how can I lose?" earlier. You rascal you.
That satoru deck name killin me 🤣🤣🤣
When does Ben start casting the wheels?
Why is Cam in my dreams as a norwegian professional footballer?
Here for the Rograkh W !! GGs
Could Ben Wheeler be related to Joey Wheeler, a friend of our beloved Yugi?
I was always under the impression that with DC you had to name something in your commander’s identity… I don’t know where that came from, must be Chinese whispers
Did dylan even cast silas (other commander)? I guess that's cedh for ya
That cup was top tier

Welcome to Jurassic Park 🦕
When Kinnan goes for the basalt. Why not pass and let Dylan counter it?
Best channel 👏
