Many people say that mindcrank is bad in Talion; I really dig it... Please let me know what your thoughts are. Edit: Talion doesn't choose the numbers on ETB, you choose as a part of the resolution.
I mean I won't call oracle boring. It's more a design of infinite combos. Like is it really more boring then doing the ETB of dockside to get Infinite to burn or any other combo. Just less steps.
Idk Eli's opinion on Tymna/Jeska but from my experience playing it felt as or even more underwhelming than these 2 games, just a huge dependance on tymna and always having a fragile boardstate because of no countermagic, I can admit the deck has potential but I couldn't really adjust to it, could use some tips 😅
Eli here- I am in a similar boat as you are. Mardu piles have never been my favorite. I think this list has potential as a midrange pile but it is a lot of reliance on landing an early draw engine. I prefer to play decks that have blue in them but I honestly haven’t had enough time playing this specific list to give many recommendations

You are correct on the ETB trigger! And I agree with mindcrank. It can add a lot of value
