    Good to see you fit and healthy. The bale handler looks a fine job and will come in very handy, you could never have enough implements for the front loader. A good heavy weight will transforms the capabilities of that loader tractor and your channel is up there with the best of the farming channels.

    Sorry to hear you were not so well, but glad to see you are on the mend.Your family have done you proud as they will have been well taught.Good bale handler you have bought , won't be long until the loader will be in full swing as it won't be long until the pit gets opened as weather isn't looking to promising.

    It depends on how far out from the back of the tractor the weight is or you will overload the linkage for no need John Deere recommends a 400 kg weight as the tractor will lift a ton without a weight on the back no problem

    • @IFarmWeFarm
      @IFarmWeFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all depends on the work it’s doing, that tractor would do me for another year or two yet without the clutch but the loader will probably shorten that.

    • @maxevans2571
      @maxevans2571 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Why don't ya just fill the rear wheels with water, is super cheap plus leaves the linkage free for other things and means you can back closer into things

    • @chucklesx
      @chucklesx 4 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Using water or wheel weights means you can't take the weight off easily for doing jobs that don't need it. Also water in the wheels or wheel weights just make the tractor heavier and actually increase the load on the front axel of a loader tractor. A weight on the lift arms uses the rear axel as a pivot point and the counter balance effect reduces the loading on the front axel.
