I have had on those Hustlers for 3 years and simply love it ,I have mine on a 12 m tele handler and feed out down a feed passage and also use it to unroll bales in to feeders in lose yards its far safer for the animals to just unroll it whilst there eating rather than trapping them as I had done in the past ,Thankfull didn't kill any but it was near miss

Absolutely brilliant bits of kit are the hustler have had it 11 years .take the wrap off before you put the bale on the unroller then just slice the net across 98% of the time the net unrolls with the first bit of the bale and you can pick it up after unrolling the other 2% it wraps round the bars which is no big deal. Mine has the extended hydraulic elevator which I know is more money but makes it far more versatile.

    • @IFarmWeFarm

Had one myself an IEP one, and found them awkward to use with wet bales and especially if they are a bit flattened from stacking 2-3 high on flat .. I hope you didn't use a nice round dry bale for demo, but will know later when children go to bed ☺️

In the colder months air cooled engines will get condensation inside the motor if they are not worked hard enough to get really hot, if the engine doesn’t get hot enough to evaporate the condensation the oil will go milky, a very common problem with my Honda MSX125 motorbike on a short run to work (just over 3 miles) if I take the long way home about 6 miles the engine gets lovely and warm and the oil is not milky.

    • @IFarmWeFarm

We have only got a very small farm not dairy, and we have to feed through feed barrier or gates. We have feed trough for nuts what we can lift up or down so cattle do not crap in them.
I thought that bail unrolling was good but you do need the space, like you would need with a diet feeder.
I see you don't use straw on your farm either.
