I love how the knight puts up this front of an optimistic ray of sunshine but behind the mask she’s just as tired as everyone else; knowing that the only way to get through this is if she puts away her own weariness and grief and lead the band from the frontlines; that because they all rely on each other, the moment they start fighting each other is the moment that everyone’s chance of survival plummets.
My players literally did exactly this, and were heavily damaged by the rest of Thalorak's (Poseidons equivalent in my world) power, which admittedly wasn't much bc the god was killed in lore due to multiple reasons I won't get into, but they harmed creatures explicitly stated to be the Children of Thalorak, a lot like Mutiny actually
Most messed up part of the story is that they were actually on track to return home within the year, but opening the bag of storms and blowing them back to the land of the giants not only set them back months in sea travel, but literally doomed them by delivering them straight to where Poseidon was at the time

They were so close, in fact, that in some versions of the story, Odysseus's mother can see his boat get blown away by the massive storm and she commits suicide afterward, thinking he must have died.

To answer your first question D&D depends of a dice roll (literally) one of 20 sides exactly so the "How much longer till your Luck Runs Out" is literally the extension of how long you last in the game

This was amazing. As someone who had the chance of playing with amazing artists, thy others players (and I count the DM) must have been extactic seeing this, and with reason. The doubt in your paladin eyes everytime the rogue (? / the character questioning him) address his concern is poignant, but thy paladin innocence and faith in the party / his god / himself is really touching. I loooooved so much the flash of previous fight were I can only guess things almost go terribly with KO/ death followed by revivify / resurection or just big injury. I worshipped the ground of every artist in my party doing a fanart of our characters together, but for this, ho my, I would be on a hight for weeks and would watch it again and again lol. Humbly take my thanks dear, you deserve it - and you secured yourself a lifelong subscriber!
WOW! I do stick figures, I could never do something this good! I love that you didnt just put people in this scene but other creatures instead! I have watched many animatics for this song ( I am Odysseus in a play, and I wanted multiple ideas on how to act, but this is the best one so far! I love they were at the temple instead of in the boat! The face expressions were remarkable as well! Let me know if you make any more animatics for epic! I still cant believe how good this is!🤩🥰🥰😇

I took it as past events. You could see one where the knight-presumably a Paladin- was healing one of the downed party members, possibly even casting revivify. This reads more as 'we've come close to death so many times, we can only push ourselves so far.'
