Hi Melissa I have rosacea affecting my eyes and it can cause a LOT of watering in the right eye particularly. Wearing waterproof mascara every day dries my lashes out a lot, so i've tried a ton of mascaras in the last couple of years (including most of the hyped ones available here in Scotland and tubing mascaras). I got fed up and decided to go back to an old favourite and I'm so glad I did - Benefit they're real. It's not waterproof, but it's very water resistant and removes easier than waterproof, isn't too drying and stays on all day with no flaking, smudging or panda eyes in sight. I wore it for years and then got sucked in by all the new mascaras (both drugstore and higher end), but I'm back to they're real and really happy with it. I also have smaller eyes and the thinner wand is so much easier to manouvre that fat or hourglass wands - it's just been a lot easier all round. From the ones shown here I've tried them all and none of them work for me all that great, although the skiy high is the best of the bunch for me of the ones shown (btw the waterproof essence one smudges more than most non waterproof mascaras on me - it was a disaster lol). It has to be said though that I have very particular issues with my eyes and how mascara reacts to all the watering - tubing mascara comes off with the warm tears from my eyes lol. I'm probably harder on a mascara than most people due to how irritated my eyes become too. Best wishes.

Love the new hair color, looks so natural and fresh ! I usually prefer natural fibers brushes but Kiko Milano Maxi Mod mascara has totally won me over, it has a very small tiny brush, easy to use and layer and the result is mind blowing. I do enjoy Essence Lash Princess as well and also Colourpop Level Up and Act Natural.
I neeed to try that L’Oréal lash paradise… my favorite is Hourglass Tubing. I got it in a package deal, so I didn’t even have to pay for it. But I LOVE it!!! I have about 8 tubes of unopened mascara I have to go through before I can justify buying another Hourglass one.
I just rediscovered LOreal Unlimited mascara. My droopy, sparse eyelashes stayed curled upward even after several coats and they looked fabulously long and thick w/ no smearing or flaking. I had been using waterproof mascara to achieve the same effects. Now I can wash my face without using special mascara remover.
Favorite mascara is maybelline falsies surreal. Typically I use three different mascaras, one for volume , one for length, and one to seal it, either a tubing, or a waterproof. This one can go all day alone.
Love Sky High! Not really found in drug store but Ulta’s New Heights is the mascara I keep going back to. And it’s along the same price bracket as drug store.
I've used Baby Oil to take off my mascara ince 1987! & it just works! My favs are Sky High, Thrive & the Milani in the turquoise wand. I also wear the Maybelline pink/green tube Royal Blue when I wear purple shadows! The Lancome ones are good but why pay more... 💜Lash Paradise flakes on me...

I switched from Essence waterproof to the maybelline sky high. Love it and really love the primer. Being black is what makes it so great. That’s all I use for my bottom lashes. Now I’ll try L’Oréal paradise next. Looking great MelissaM ❤

Yes, I agree with buzzydecker....The Ordinary lash serum is good. I was using a high end lash serum and decided to try The Ordinary. The main difference I've noticed is that The Ordinary lash serum doesn't give you the LONGER lashes that you get with the more expensive lash serums, however, it will definitely thicken up your lash line. If you have a sparse lash line, then definitely give it a try. It will give you more lashes!! I'm on my second tube now, and I will continue to purchase. I use it only once a day. I apply it at night before bed.
I have the Sky High but haven't opened it because I'm addicted to Thrive! I do occasionally use one by L'Oréal and it's Lash Paradise. That one has a primer. I also love the Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and don't have any issues with flaking or black undereyes. But I'm on subscription to Thrive. I love Tubing mascaras! My favorite mascara is Loreal False Fiber (not waterproof). It is easy to remove, gives length and volume. It is very comfortable to wear. People will ask me what mascara I am wearing.
I’m 36, tried every drugstore mascara ever known to man, drugstore and high end alike- L’Oréal Voluminous (original)is still the best and my favroite mascara of all time in 2024 7:49 (the original). I’ve yet to find anything else that coats , separates, lengthens, volumizes, perfect consistency forumla… just ticks off all the boxes like she does.
My absolute favourite mascara is Flower Beauty Lash Warrior. Unfortunately Flower Beauty, for whatever reason, is becoming hard to get in Australia. I don’t know what’s going on with Flower and Essence. 😢

You should try the essence new mascara... Like a boss. The one in pink metallic tube .. It is amazing, no flacky or anything and the bedst.. It holds the curl writ only one layer. Big hugs from Denmark 🌹🥰
Lash Paradise is my fave drugstore brand mascara. I have been in the habit of applying false lashes daily for the past 3 years (I know it sounds extra, but I love the look and can apply them quicker than than the time it takes to build up a few coats of mascara). I do use a coat of mascara before applying the falsies, so Lash Paradise has a permanent spot in my kit. I also keep a tube of the newer waterproof version.
Love this video! I liked the elf lash it loud but the brush is just too prickly it's actually painful if you poke yourself with it. I didn't like the green lash princess from essence so maybe I'll try the waterproof. I agree I love the mabelline sky high. I guess I'm cheap because I don't want to spend $10 on a mascara since I use so much of it every day. Does the loreal lash paradise have fragrance in it? I can't remember why I didn't like it.

Thanks, Mrs. M! My personal fave is the original L’Oréal Telescopic. It separates my lashes so perfectly and the teeth on the wand grabs every single lash. I like it so much I am not even curious to try the new “lift” version. Isn’t that odd? I sure experiment with everything else, especially skin care. 😊

I tried the green Lash Princess not for me I don’t understand why so many people like it . I continue using Double Extend LOreal because the tubing is so easy to remove and works for me. I really dislike taking off mascara even ones that aren’t waterproof always irritates my eyes. What product would you say takes off non waterproof mascara the easiest ?. My favourite mascara of all time was Marc Jacobs Beauty - Velvet Noir it was so perfect. I still keep my last tube for nostalgia lol 😢 I do like Benefits Roller Lash still. That's what I use now. But I would love to find a dupe for the Marc Jacobs.
Sky High, Falsies Lash Lift and Telescopic are my top 3. Lash Paradise was terrible, clumpy. I never could understand the fascination with Essence or elf. Never used any of their mascaras that did anything for my lashes.
The only one I have tried from your list has been the Essence but I do like it. Good thing you don't live in Australia though if you think $30 is a lot for a Mascara- both Sky High and Lash Paradise are RRP AU$26 if they are not on sale! Our prices here are so much more expensive and we don't have a lot of the cheaper brands, nor do we have the range.

Love this video! For the longest time and for so many years the CG Lash Blast (orange Tube) was my perfect mascara for the top lashes and the CG Green tube (clump crusher) was my favorite for lower lashes...(high maintenance, I know...) but.. they must have changed the formula b/c it stopped working for me... since then the repeat purchase has been the Maybelline Lash Sensation (pink tube) and their Sky High - and I love the primer too. A great combo of late has been the Maybelline Lash Sensational followed by the L'Oreal Telescopic for more length! I still use the Sky High on bottom lashes (in brown) - absolutely zero smudges or raccoon eyes.... I WISH the Lash Paradise worked for me! I've tried it so many times and I just can't fall in love with it. The only higher end mascara I will spend money on is the L'Ancome Lash Idole - and I only get the travel size when I'm waiting in line at Ulta (those darn little sample size sections always get me!) love that mascara too! xoxoxo love ya, Melissa!
Oh no, I've loved the orange tube CG. They changed? Rats! Well, it's time for a new mascara so I'll see how it works on me. If not, maybe the Sky High, since they have washable in brown (black doesn't work for blondish-grey hair - too stark and fake).

I love the blonde hair too on her. I’m also blonde and when I want to make a change, I’ll have my hair stylist add some low lights in my hair to give it some dimension. Plus, blonde hair helps disguise grey hair!

I’m 36, tried every drugstore mascara ever known to man, drugstore and high end alike- L’Oréal Voluminous (original)is still the best and my favroite mascara of all time in 2024 7:49 (the original). I’ve yet to find anything else that coats , separates, lengthens, volumizes, perfect consistency forumla… just ticks off all the boxes like she does.
My absolute favourite mascara is Flower Beauty Lash Warrior. Unfortunately Flower Beauty, for whatever reason, is becoming hard to get in Australia. I don’t know what’s going on with Flower and Essence. 😢
I keep wondering if Flower is going out. I sure hope not!

I think I’m going to take the plunge with the Sky High from Maybelline or Lash Paradise. I’ve been wanting to try Sky High for a while but I already had a mascara I was using. Now my mascara is old and needs to be tossed. I’m ready for a new one!
You should try the essence new mascara... Like a boss. The one in pink metallic tube .. It is amazing, no flacky or anything and the bedst.. It holds the curl writ only one layer.

Lash Paradise is my fave drugstore brand mascara. I have been in the habit of applying false lashes daily for the past 3 years (I know it sounds extra, but I love the look and can apply them quicker than than the time it takes to build up a few coats of mascara). I do use a coat of mascara before applying the falsies, so Lash Paradise has a permanent spot in my kit. I also keep a tube of the newer waterproof version.

Your lashes look great. I haven't been able to do my lower lashes in years. I find that the Lash Paradise has little fibers in it that get in my eyes.

Love this video! I liked the elf lash it loud but the brush is just too prickly it's actually painful if you poke yourself with it. I didn't like the green lash princess from essence so maybe I'll try the waterproof. I agree I love the mabelline sky high. I guess I'm cheap because I don't want to spend $10 on a mascara since I use so much of it every day. Does the loreal lash paradise have fragrance in it? I can't remember why I didn't like it.

Loved the Maybelline Sky High until the scrapper broke...not to worry, they sent me a coupon for a new one. Second try....scrapper broke again. They are sending a refund check and I will try out the Loreal
I love the lash paradise, and sky high- I also love the Milanis tubing mascara in the green tube and the It cosmetics super hero both killers. But my all time favorite is Loreal Voluminous Mascara - I've been wearing it since I was in my 20's. This is my go to forever. Always performs and never lets me down... thankyou Melissa

Thanks, Mrs. M! My personal fave is the original L’Oréal Telescopic. It separates my lashes so perfectly and the teeth on the wand grabs every single lash. I like it so much I am not even curious to try the new “lift” version. Isn’t that odd? I sure experiment with everything else, especially skin care. 😊

I tried the green Lash Princess not for me I don’t understand why so many people like it . I continue using Double Extend LOreal because the tubing is so easy to remove and works for me. I really dislike taking off mascara even ones that aren’t waterproof always irritates my eyes. What product would you say takes off non waterproof mascara the easiest ?. I would like to try the lash paradise if I can find a good remover . ❤️

Sky High, Falsies Lash Lift and Telescopic are my top 3. Lash Paradise was terrible, clumpy. I never could understand the fascination with Essence or elf. Never used any of their mascaras that did anything for my lashes.

The only one I have tried from your list has been the Essence but I do like it. Good thing you don't live in Australia though if you think $30 is a lot for a Mascara- both Sky High and Lash Paradise are RRP AU$26 if they are not on sale! Our prices here are so much more expensive and we don't have a lot of the cheaper brands, nor do we have the range.

Love this video! For the longest time and for so many years the CG Lash Blast (orange Tube) was my perfect mascara for the top lashes and the CG Green tube (clump crusher) was my favorite for lower lashes...(high maintenance, I know...) but.. they must have changed the formula b/c it stopped working for me... since then the repeat purchase has been the Maybelline Lash Sensation (pink tube) and their Sky High - and I love the primer too. A great combo of late has been the Maybelline Lash Sensational followed by the L'Oreal Telescopic for more length! I still use the Sky High on bottom lashes (in brown) - absolutely zero smudges or raccoon eyes.... I WISH the Lash Paradise worked for me! I've tried it so many times and I just can't fall in love with it. The only higher end mascara I will spend money on is the L'Ancome Lash Idole - and I only get the travel size when I'm waiting in line at Ulta (those darn little sample size sections always get me!) love that mascara too! xoxoxo love ya, Melissa!
Oh no, I've loved the orange tube CG. They changed? Rats! Well, it's time for a new mascara so I'll see how it works on me. If not, maybe the Sky High, since they have washable in brown (black doesn't work for blondish-grey hair - too stark and fake).

I’m currently wearing the Lash Idole in black and loving it!
I love the blonde hair too on her. I’m also blonde and when I want to make a change, I’ll have my hair stylist add some low lights in my hair to give it some dimension. Plus, blonde hair helps disguise grey hair!
