Once I found the correct shade in the Catrice TruSkin concealer, I stopped looking for the next best concealer. They all tend to look a little crackly and dry at about the 4 hr mark and only got worse the longer I wore them. This one is by far my favorite and I just don't need to look any further. It's extremely affordable on top of the great wear!!

Agree! Catrice concealer is the absolute best. I have it in two colors to also spot conceal on my face. Just love it. Am loving the Koki foundation and concealer as well. Some great choices Melissa!

The best concealer for me so far has been Fiera, which is basically made for mature skin. It can also be used as a foundation. I have two different colors, so I use the darker one as foundation and the lighter one as concealer. It stays on all day long without creasing, and just a little bit goes a long way. The little tube lasts me a long time.

I’m in my late 70s. It was great to have you confirm my own preferences. I use the Catrice concealer (don’t even have to set it) the most followed by the Elf hydrating (do set). One other concealer I love that seems to have fallen off beauty influencers radar is the IT Bye Bye Under-eye concealer (waterproof). It comes in a tube and is thick but after warming up a very small amount with your fingers it blends perfectly and boy does it cover up my dark areas right under my lashes. It does need to be set but never looks drying. Keep up your great work helping us older generations to look our best.

Your comment about the Tarte Shape Tape was so VALIDATING for me! Everyone has been raving about it for so long and it just doesn't deliver! I do have to say tho that the new shape tape radiant is much better. Still not sure it's better **enough**, but definitely an improvement!

Thank you for doing this video. I use the Catrice true skin high coverage concealer that you mentioned in this video. It was a suggestion from you in a previous video. It works the best for me of all of the other concealers that I have. As a 53 year-old woman who has wrinkles fine lines, and creepiness under my eyes, I would love if you would do a video showing the steps that you do for your under eyes to help novice like myself have the best looking under eyes. I love the IRL concealer. I also have it in my skin tone and wear it as a foundation, topped with a little powder foundation. I don’t spread it all over my face, just on my nose and on my pigmentation areas.
I have dry under eyes at 39 yrs old and I love soft matte concealers..IRL is a favorite one of mine I just discovered. I love milani conceal and perfect...Elf hydrating concealer is good for my light makeup days...I have dark under eyes as well and it us difficult to get a good in between concealer that works for creasing and coverage..I will check out the catrice one next ..great video!!
My least favorite concealer was the Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer. It was way too thick, wouldn't dry down, and I couldn't put powder on top of it without it moving/lifting! It looked awful on my skin! I ended up throwing it out because I didn't save the box and receipt to try and return it. Never again! My favorite concealer is the CoverGirl Tru Blend Concealer. Even at 52, I have oily skin, so it works for me as far as covering up dark circles and blemishes, but it's not too drying.

Right now the NYX Bare with me Concealer is doing a great job for me. I just love your content. I have had purple green hallows under my eyes since I was a child, and everything just seems to settle into my lines, not sure how to disguise those hallows, except to just forget about them, live my life, and smile.
Just my opinion on Tarte Creaseless....If anyone is wondering what to do with it if you feel it doesnt work....i ended up using that as my first layer ...it works wonderful with any other concealer over top of it. I too, could not use it alone by itself but it is BEAUTIFUL as a first layer...(just a dot or 2)❤

I just use Bobbi brown corrector in light bisque cause I have gotten to the point where I don’t want to look like I have makeup on :/ for a base I use a skin perfector that doesn’t have pigment so it just helps my skin look better and do my best with blush and eyes to distract from the lack of full coverage lol
I was also disappointed in the Lancome Teint Idol Concealer. So many mature skin influencers raved about how good it was, but I thought it was too thick and didn't blend well. I'm using Kosas now, and it is ok, but I'm still not wowed. The search continues. 😊
You are so right about that Lancome concealer way too drying and would not work on my dark circles. Haven't found a good one yet but will try your top picks. Great video as always ❤

I JUST TRIED ELF AND IT BROKE UP AND LOOKED LIKE I had dry skin! I just started using more make up to hide dark spots and wrinkles. I do have dry lids and under eyes.

I used to have many of the same complaints voiced here and I discovered I needed a color corrector first. (Very dark circles, sunken eyes, wrinkles and dry skin). A bit of trial and error and I found the right shade and formula, and now I hardly need any concealer.
I like the Sigma because the shade is perfect and the formula works, but that’s just me. It’s expensive because it’s a duo and I only use one color, but it is as close to perfect as I could ask for. But there was quite a bit of trial and error!
I just ordered the Catrice true skin. I hope it works for me as well. I feel like most concealers make my skin look like the Mojave dessert floor. 😂 I also have to color correct so I'm going to try the E.L.F. peach one 🤞🏼
I love your review I will be checking out your concealer suggestions I have had such a terrible time with concealers just making a roadmap under my eyes. They just seem to find the deep creases and go in there. It looks terrible. I have to pat my concealer all day long, just to stop the lines from showing I was looking into illuminating make up. Don't laugh but makeup Revolution Eye Bright concealer is the best for me. Goes on very smoothly with the sponge tip applicator and is pretty much the only one for me that doesn't crease and seems hydrating

Is Catrice available in any store? I have fair skin and really like to test. I did order Westman Atelier stick foundation from Nordstrom and picked the right shade (love it), but Catrice is loved by so many and would love to try it.
Like you, I have pretty dry skin😢 I am a MUA (retired) who wears a lot of drugstore. I was disappointed when L'oreal discontinued True Match with the sponge tip, great coverage & perfect matching color; then the other True Match with the synthetic brush was discontinued, same story. I tried Infallible, I do NOT like that one at all. So, since corrector and concealer are so important, I would even pay more for prestige brands, if, I were able to find a great one. That being said Melissa, what are your top 3 prestige picks? I need help with my dhiners. LOL. What are your opinions on NATASHA DENONA, YSL, & DIOR. I like the catrice under eye brightener. Not a concealer but does help with some darkness and doesn't cake up.

I was also disappointed in the Lancome Teint Idol Concealer. So many mature skin influencers raved about how good it was, but I thought it was too thick and didn't blend well. I'm using Kosas now, and it is ok, but I'm still not wowed. The search continues. 😊
You are so right about that Lancome concealer way too drying and would not work on my dark circles. Haven't found a good one yet but will try your top picks. Great video as always ❤

Tried a ton of concealers. Have dry skin and all settle into fine lines in less than hour no matter what I do. Need to try Catrice one. Thxs for sharing💐.

I JUST TRIED ELF AND IT BROKE UP AND LOOKED LIKE I had dry skin! I just started using more make up to hide dark spots and wrinkles. I do have dry lids and under eyes.

I used to have many of the same complaints voiced here and I discovered I needed a color corrector first. (Very dark circles, sunken eyes, wrinkles and dry skin). A bit of trial and error and I found the right shade and formula, and now I hardly need any concealer.
Curious, what color corrector do you use
I like the Sigma because the shade is perfect and the formula works, but that’s just me. It’s expensive because it’s a duo and I only use one color, but it is as close to perfect as I could ask for. But there was quite a bit of trial and error!
I just ordered the Catrice true skin. I hope it works for me as well. I feel like most concealers make my skin look like the Mojave dessert floor. 😂
I also have to color correct so I'm going to try the E.L.F. peach one 🤞🏼

I love your review I will be checking out your concealer suggestions I have had such a terrible time with concealers just making a roadmap under my eyes. They just seem to find the deep creases and go in there. It looks terrible. I have to pat my concealer all day long, just to stop the lines from showing I was looking into illuminating make up. What are your thoughts on that to reflect off the wrinkles?

Don't laugh but makeup Revolution Eye Bright concealer is the best for me. Goes on very smoothly with the sponge tip applicator and is pretty much the only one for me that doesn't crease and seems hydrating

Like you, I have pretty dry skin😢 I am a MUA (retired) who wears a lot of drugstore. I was disappointed when L'oreal discontinued True Match with the sponge tip, great coverage & perfect matching color; then the other True Match with the synthetic brush was discontinued, same story. I tried Infallible, I do NOT like that one at all. So, since corrector and concealer are so important, I would even pay more for prestige brands, if, I were able to find a great one. That being said Melissa, what are your top 3 prestige picks? I need help with my dhiners. LOL.
